How-To-Replace-Eric-Holder-President-Romney-StyleNo state has suffered under Eric Holder more than Arizona, and nobody knows this more than Arizona Attorney General Tom Horne. Horne is intimately familiar with the radicalism of DOJ policies – from the lawlessness of Fast and Furious to the lawless immigration policies of Eric Holder. Washington could use a dose of common sense from a state attorney general. Horne would bring a healthy skepticism to the bureaucracy and send a signal that the Romney administration will respect state sovereignty over elections while asserting control of American borders

The Arizona Exchange Debate, Hosted By The Arizona Chapter Of Americans For Prosperity, will take place Wednesday, September 5, from 1to 2:30 pm, at the Goldwater Institute.  Arguing against the exchange are Glendale physician and health care freedom fighter Dr. Eric Novack and Cato Institute health care policy analyst Michael Cannon.  AFP-Arizona is working to secure participation by two panelists from the pro-exchange side, and have to the Brewer Administration and the state's health insurance lobbyists. To register, email Bill Fathauer at bfathauer@afphq.org.  or call  (480) 332-0477.

The Family Of Slain Border Patrol Agent Brian Terry is partnering with a prominent Tucson businessman to formally launch a new charity event that seeks to honor the memory of Agent Terry.  This will be done at an upcoming press conference in Tucson, Arizona. On Thursday, September 6th at 11 a.m., Jim Click, a noted Tucson businessman and automobile dealer, and The Jim Click Automotive Team will present a $25,000 check to Agent Terry’s cousin, Robert Heyer, which will go towards the foundation honoring Agent Brian Terry. The press conference will be held at Jim Click Ford located at 6244 East 22nd Street. Robert Heyer is the Chairman of the Brian Terry Foundation and will be available to answer questions about Agent Terry’s death and the latest developments in the “Fast and Furious” scandal.
Brian’s friends and family recently started the Brian Terry Foundation to honor Brian’s memory and to create a living legacy in his name. The Foundation will host its first annual Brian Terry Foundation benefit dinner on Monday, September 17th at the JW Marriott Starr Pass Resort and Spa in Tucson. It is open to the public and tickets can be purchased on the Foundation’s website: http://honorbrianterry.com/events. People may also call Michelle Marini at (602) 633-2777 for tickets and additional information.
On Tuesday, September 18th, the Bisbee Border Patrol station will be named in Brian’s honor. At that event, Congressman Ron Barber will present Brian’s parents with the Congressional Badge of Bravery, which was awarded to Brian posthumously.
Brian Terry was on duty when he lost his life defending the U.S. border from members of a suspected drug cartel in December of 2010 near Rio Rico, AZ.  Weapons found at the murder scene have been traced to the failed gun trafficking investigation known as Operation Fast and Furious conducted by the U.S. Justice Department and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms.
The Brian Terry Foundation website (www.honorbrianterry.com) is collecting donations to raise funds for the families of fallen U.S. Border Patrol agents, establish educational scholarships, and raise awareness for border security issues. Contacts: Jason Rose or Mike Scerbo at 480-423-1414.
