·        LD21 Pc  Raymond A Mills Passed Away Nov 25 at the age of 86. Visitation was held from 5-8 pm, Nov 28 at Sunland Mortuary, Sun City, AZ A Funeral Mass celebrated at 10 am Nov 29 at St. Clement of Rome Catholic Church Driving Directions . In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to St. Vincent de Paul or the charity of your choice.  Guest Book  View Complete Guest Book He was born in Chicago, IL. Ray and his wife Betty raised their family in Chicago where he worked as a construction manager whose crowning achievement was the construction of the Sears Tower. Ray honorably served his country during WWII in the US Army. He will be remembered as a devoted family man, his work with The Boy Scouts of America and as a true Patriot. Ray portrayed "Uncle Sam" in many Memorial Day, Veterans Day, 4th of July and patriotic celebrations. He was a member of the American Legion, VFW, Northwest Valley Veterans Association and life member of the St Clement of Rome Men's Club. 
·        The Annual Maricopa County Republican Statutory Meeting Is Scheduled Jan 12 at the Church of the Nations, 6225 N Central, in Phoenix, according to MCRC Chairman Rob Haney. Details tba.
·        The Annual AZGOP State Mandatory Meeting Is Scheduled Jan. 26. Details to be announced.  The annual Chairman’s Awards Dinner will be held Jan. 25
·        AZ GOP Chairman Tom Morrissey, AZ GOP National Committeeman Bruce Ash, And AZGOP National Committeewoman Sharon Giese have released a joint statement in support of the re-election of Reince Priebus as the Republican National Committee. The election of RNC officers is scheduled for January 25, 2013 when Republican leaders from each state who are members of the RNC meet to elect national leadership and conduct other business.  The RNC Winter Meetings will be held in Charlotte, NC.
·        The AZGOP Christmas Party Will Be Held Dec 5 From 5-7 Pm At The Bass Pro Shops, 1133 N. Dobson Rd., Mesa. Refreshments will be provided. There will be an open shooting range. Bring your own weapon. Ammo must be purchased at Bass Pro the day of the event. Donations of toys, clothing and blankets will be appreciated for the AZGOP Military & Veterans Association.
