1-3-13 MCRC Briefs

Jan 3, 2013

·        Local Business Owner And Grassroots Republican Leader Doug Little has announced his candidacy for Chairmanship of the Arizona Republican Party.  Little said, "During the run up to the election in November, it was clear the Republican Party in Arizona was seriously divided.  It was obvious we needed to improve our fundraising and that our campaign ground game needed lots of work.  As a seasoned executive, I have a successful record of bringing people together to achieve common objectives and building infrastructures to support those efforts. With over 30 years of high level sales experience, I know how to recruit business leaders in our community and build the trust necessary to secure their financial support."
Little is a life-long conservative who advocates smaller government, equality of opportunity, less government regulation, and preservation of our founding principles.
Little was recently re-elected Chairman of the LD23 Republican Committee. Republicans inside and outside LD23 credit the district's recent success largely to Doug's inclusive, results-oriented leadership style.
Working with his Board, Little established one of Arizona's five national Victory Offices. Republicans of all persuasions worked together on a comprehensive GOTV operation in LD23 - and they delivered a Republican sweep.  An active PC and State Committeeman, he knows what it's like to walk neighborhoods, work phone banks, and stuff envelopes.
A senior corporate executive with a track record of success, Little led and motivated a nationwide enterprise software sales force to achieve record productivity and growth in a growth-hostile economy. He also helped launch several successful start-ups. Little will leverage the tactics and networks he developed there to raise funds and build infrastructure for the Party.
Little built his own successful business, Armed Personal Defense, where he trains and certifies law enforcement, civilians and NRA instructors in an industry that continues to face unique regulatory challenges.
