·        The Executive Guidance Committee of the Coconino County Republican Committee Has Passed Resolutions Against The Governor's Medicaid Expansion Plan, Against Common Core And Against Amnesty. We will be sending those Resolutions to the Legislature in the next few days. “We are pleased to add to the list of County Committees, who, like Pima and Maricopa, have passed such resolutions that we feel are against our Republican principles,”  according to Chairman Joy Iris Staveley.  Contact:     cell: 928-606-1131
·        The Republican Legislative District 12 strongly opposes the expansion of Medicaid, “We request that the Legislature vote NO to protect both current and future tax payers of Arizona,” according to LD 12 Chairman Mickie Niland.  She has forwarded the unanimously passed LD12 resolution urging our elected officials to vote NO on the expansion of Medicaid in Arizona to Gov. Jan Brewer, AZ Senate and  House leaders, AZGOP Chairman Robert Graham and MCRC Chairman A J LaFaro.

·        This week LD25 and LD12 and the Coconino Republican Executive Committee has  joined the Maricopa County LDs 1, 13, 15, 16, 17, 18, 22 , 23, 27, Pima County Republican LDs 2, 3 ,4, 9, 10, 11, 14,  and the Cochise County Republican Committees in passing resolutions in opposition to the Governor’s Medicaid Expansion (AHCCCS) in support of Obamacare. 

·        Phx City Councilman Jim Waring’s Community Meeting will host Secretary of State Ken Bennett at 7:30 am, March 28 at the Paradise Valley Evangelical Lutheran Church- 14845 N 40th St, Phx

·        The Az East Valley Action Alliance will host its first annual Pro-life Conference “Pro God, Life & Liberty” and Political Rally 2014 from 9 am to 4:30 pm, Sept 21, at the Double Tree San Tan Elegant  1800 S. San Tan Village Parkway, Gilbert.

·        AZGOP Chairman Robert Graham will be on Shane Krauser’s Liberty Storm at 5 pm, March 23 on AM960 Radio to discuss the latest GOP happenings.   here.

·        Local School Board Governance And Flexibility Act Introduced In U.S. Congress   The National School Boards Association (NSBA) praised today’s introduction of the Local School Board Governance and Flexibility Act in the U.S. House of Representatives that would protect local school district governance from unnecessary and counter-productive federal intrusion from the U.S. Department of Education.

·        Governor Jan Brewer Today Announced That Arizona High School Seniors Rupika Kapur and Erica Schwarz have been selected the winners of Arizona’s 2013 National Youth Science Camp Competition (NYSC).  At the invitation of West Virginia Governor Earl Ray Tomblin, Kapur and Schwarz will participate as delegates in the 50th year of the National Youth Science Camp, held near the National Radio Astronomy Observatory at Green Bank,WV. Arizona alternates include: Savannah Grossarth, Zeynep Ayla, Samantha Vernon and Charlotte Petin. and

·        Chino Valley Shooting Facility Set To Open:  Grand opening celebration Apro; 6.  With one range slated to close, recreational shooters in the Prescott area will already have a new facility in place. The Prescott Sportsman's Club will host the grand opening of the Chino Valley Shooting Facility on April 6. The event will begin with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 10 a.m. Free shooting will take place from noon to 4 p.m. and the Junior High Power Team will be selling lunch. The facility was made possible through grants from the Arizona Game and Fish Department, National Rifle Association and funding from Arizona State Rifle and Pistol Association, Davidsons and Mazy's.    website

·        Arizona Project reports that the recall against House Minority Leader Chad Campbell (LD24 D) is picking up speed with over 300 petitions on the street and 11% of the required signatures already gathered.
