·        Republican House Victory Committee Providing Key Support To AZGOP:  Robert Graham, Chairman of the Arizona Republican Party, announced today that the Republican House Victory committee has contributed its surplus of nearly $19,500 to the Arizona Republican Party.  The committee was instrumental in electing Republicans to the Arizona House of Representatives in 2010 and 2012.
"We're entering a new election cycle for 2014 and this contribution is not just a tremendous strategic accomplishment but also a promising indicator of how successful our 2014 legislative candidates are going to be," said Robert Graham, Chairman of the Arizona Republican Party.  "We are great stewards of our resources and we will use this investment to register voters and encourage them to vote Republican in 2014 and beyond."
Graham added that he is grateful that multiple campaign efforts are now being conducted under one roof and that the Arizona Republican Party is at the heart of it all.
Additionally, Graham and a group of Republican benefactors are hosting a special Legislative Salute dinner on April 10th to celebrate our current Republican majority.  GOP strategist Frank Luntz will give the keynote address and Graham will showcase his plans for victory in 2014.  Event details are at   602-957-7770.

·        A “Block The Sheriff Joe Arpaio Recall” Training Session will be offered at 6:30 pm, March 26 at the Arizona Project Office, 3375 E. Shea Blvd, Suite 2B, Phx. According to AZ Project Chairman Ron Ludders the “Recall Sheriff Joe”  effort lead by Lilia Alvarez, wife of Randy Parraz,  is about to launch phase two of their plan to recall JOE. ·        Political Blogger Jeff Vath Remains In Extremely Critical Condition following Thursday night surgery at John C. Lincoln Hospital.  Prayers are cards are appreciated by his wife Mary Ann.

·        Gilbert School District Supt Dr. Dave Allison Will Be Retiring at the end of the school year.  Four forums are scheduled this week to gather community input on qualities they want in the new superintendent.

·        Maricopa County GOP LD1, 12, 13, 15, 16, 17, 18, 21 22, 23, 25 and 27, Pima County Republican LDs 2, 3 ,4, 9, 10, 11, 14,  the Coconino Republican Executive Committee , along with the Pinal, Cochise and the Cochise County Republican Committees are united in passing resolutions in opposition to the Governor’s Medicaid Expansion (AHCCCS) in support of Obamacare.  Pinal County Republicans passed their resolution back in February.

·     Movement Is Afloat To Oppose A AZ House Vote On Sen. Richard Crandall’s HB2425 which resurrects portions of Common Core AIMS to PARCC Assessment (HB2047) which died in Senate Committee on March 21.  Crandall’s opponents report that same afternoon the Senate Committee of the Whole (COW) met and Crandall offered the Floor Amendment to education bill HB2425, and it unanimously passed. His amendment basically removes the requirement for students to pass AIMS to graduate high school and the Stanford 9 each year and can be replaced with another (PARCC) by the State Board of Education. ·          Van the Radio Man says: Voters will be conducting a “Second Amendment Rally” at the AZ State Capitol on March 28.  Bring your signs against Expanding Medicaid, Amnesty, Gun Control Etc., For Pro Life, Balanced Budget, Legal Immigration, Drill Now, Jobs and Freedom.  Bring water and walking shoes, as we begin to deliver a message to all those who hold office, at any level of government.  At the Governor's Press Conference on the Capitol Lawn we were told we weren't welcome to be there on private property, so I invite all of you to join us at the Capitol to march as they did in the 60's for their Constitutional Rights.This is meant to send a message to all that ‘We the People’ Are One.  It's time for those in office to do what we instruct them to do, and no longer listen to paid lobbyists, and especially those who believe they can violate our constitutional god granted rights. ·        Volunteers Needed: Maricopa County Republican Headquarters - West Needs Volunteers for four-hour shifts at the Sun City office, 10050 Bell Road (NW corner of 99Ave/Bell Rd).  The office has two-staffers per shift. Several shifts are open.  There are many exciting events planned for the immediate future including fund raisers, training programs, speakers, and other projects that require a variety of skills.  Volunteers have an opportunity of interfacing with elected officials, district chairmen, precinct committeemen as well as the public.
