·        LD12, 15, 16, 17, 22 and the Pima County Republicans have passed resolutions in opposition to the Governor’s Medicaid Expansion (AHCCCS) in support of Obamacare.  

·        LD1, 13, 20, 21, And 30 Are Also Reportedly Working On Similar Opposition resolutions to bring before their PCs at upcoming meetings.

·        Attorney General Tom Horne will be addressing the Hwy 69 Republicans at 6 pm, March11 at the Puerta Vallarta Restaurant, 11901 E. AZ Hwy 69, Dewey. ·        Shane Krauser has resigned his position as a prosecutor to focus his America for America efforts. American Academy for Constitutional Education (AAFCE) Based out of Gilbert, Arizona, the AAFCE travels throughout the United States speaking and educating others on the U.S. Constitution, its historical influences, original intent, along with modern-day issues that implicate this important document.

·        The March Issue Of School Reform News Reports Public Officials Are Meeting Behind Closed Doors In States Across The Country To Plan Implementation Of New Common Core Math And English Language Standards, shutting out the parents whose children will be affected by the standards and the taxpayers whose money will fund the implementation.

·        A Medicaid Expension Forum is scheduled from 6:30-8:30 pm, March 7 at the Loft Cineman, 3233 E. Speedway Blvd, Tucson. Confirmed: AZ State Senator Steve Farley, AZ Representative Ethan Orr, Dr. Orient, Tom Jenney, AZ Director of Americans for Prosperity, AZ Senator Frank Antenori. ·        The Maricopa County Republican Committee Fund Raising Committee Has Scheduled A Yard Sale from 8 am to 2 pm, March 21 and March 22 at t he home of Phyllis and Peter Lee, 18825 N. Conestoga Dr., Sun City. Please bring sale items to the Lee home March 18 and 19. The committee will price items on March 10. ·        Maricopa County Board Of Supervisor Max Wilson Will Retire March 11 due to health problems.  Wilson, who has served several terms, was re-elected in November 2012.  His service will certainly be missed.

·        The Pima County Republican Party’s March 8 Lincoln Day Dinner is scheduled at 6 pm (reception) 7 pm (dinner) at the Radisson Hotel, 6555 E. Speedway, Tucson. ·        LD13 Chairman Dr. Robert Branch Was Recently Sworn In As A Member Of The Maricopa County Parks & Recreation Board For District 4.  He was appointed by long-time District 4 Board of Supervisor Max Wilson. Other Maricopa County Board members include Chairman Carlton Yoshioka, Vice Chairman Rod Jarvis, Jack Stapley – District 2 and Anne Lynch – District 3. There are board vacancies in Districts 1 and 5.

·        Voice Of Veterans Talk Show Host Vern Bagley broadcast the show from the GreekFestival at St. Katherine Greek Orthodox Church in Chandler today.  Guests were members of the Greek community who immigrated to the US and served in one of the military services.
