·        Action Alert:  A Rally Is Scheduled At 11 Am Tomorrow, March 5, at the State Capitol to protest against Gov. Jan Brewer’s “Drs & Nurses Photo-Op.”  Anti-ObamaCare activists are asked to wear black when they gathered at 1700 W. Washington.  See details: help-needed-to-stop-medicaid-expansion

·        LD27 And Cochise County Republicans Have Joined LDs 12, 15, 16, 17, 22 And The Pima County Republicans in passing resolutions in opposition to the Governor’s Medicaid Expansion (AHCCCS) in support of Obamacare.  
·        LD1, 13, 20, 21, And 30 Are Also Reportedly Working On Similar Opposition resolutions to bring before their PCs at upcoming meetings.
·        Dick Hensley, Who Ran For The Board of Supervisors in 2012, has joined former AZ Legislators Jean McGrath And Jack Harper in seeking the appointment to fill District 4 Board of Supervisor Max Wilson’s vacancy. Wilson has resigned, effective March 11, due to health problems.  McGrath, who ran against Wilson in the 2012 primary, currently serves on the Central Arizona Project Board of Directors.  Harper termed out as a legislator this past year. Reports are also circulating that one of Wilson’s daughter may try to fill her dad’s shoes. The Board of Supervisors will make the appointment to fill Wilson’s seat.  You can give them your input at:

·        Author and Sun City West Republican Club Chairman Ray Spitzer will address the Surprise Team Party  at 6:30 pjm, March 5 in the Quail Room of the Sun City West Rec Center, RH Johnson Blvd/Stardust.  Spitzer will hopes to gain support for his movement to reduce advertising to the Arizona Republican due to its left-leaning political stance. He’ll also talk about the negative effectives of Agenda 21.
·        A Medicaid Expension Forum is scheduled from 6:30-8:30 pm, March 7 at the Loft Cineman, 3233 E. Speedway Blvd, Tucson. Confirmed: AZ State Senator Steve Farley, AZ Representative Ethan Orr, Dr. Orient, Tom Jenney, AZ Director of Americans for Prosperity, AZ Senator Frank Antenori. ·        Maricopa County Board Of Supervisor Max Wilson Will Retire March 11 due to health problems.  Wilson, who has served several terms, was re-elected in November 2012.  His service will certainly be missed.
·        The Pima County Republican Party’s March 8 Lincoln Day Dinner is scheduled at 6 pm (reception) 7 pm (dinner) at the Radisson Hotel, 6555 E. Speedway, Tucson. ·        The March Issue Of School Reform News Reports Public Officials Are Meeting Behind Closed Doors In States Across The Country To Plan Implementation Of New Common Core Math And English Language Standards, shutting out the parents whose children will be affected by the standards and the taxpayers whose money will fund the implementation.
·        The Maricopa County Republican Committee Fund Raising Committee Has Scheduled A Yard Sale from 8 am to 2 pm, March 21 and March 22 at t he home of Phyllis and Peter Lee, 18825 N. Others had messages such as: “If guns cause crime, then pencils cause misspelled words” or “I’m a mom and grandmother here to protect and defend their future.”One sign was especially pertinent: “Founded in 1816: Remington stays. Cuomo goes!”The crowd could be heard chanting, “We will not comply!” at one point and later “Cuomo’s gotta go!”
