·       Sen Al Melvin, Who Has An Exploratory Committee For Governor Underway, will be busy the next few days. He is speaking to the Tucson Republican Women on June 24, the Pima County GOP Club on June 25 and attend the Tucson-Mexico Trade Coalition in  Nogales on June 27.
·       Van the Radio Man hopes to have Maricopa County Republican Committee Chairman AJ LaFaro on his Crossroads with Van talk show at 4:30 pm, Mon, June 24 to talk about the Saturday Kick-Off Rally and what the LDs will be doing to help get the Medicaid Expansion referendum on the Nov. ballot.  They must college some 86,000 petition signatures before Sept. 11. ·       Volunteers Needed: The United Republican Alliance Of Principled Conservatives (URAPC) Has 70 Days to collect 120,000 signatures to get their referendum in opposition of Gov. Jan. Brewer’s Medicaid Expansion on the November ballot.
·       The United Republican Alliance of Principled Conservatives (URAPC) leadership consists of Christine Bauserman and former senators Ron Gould and Frank Antenori. ·       Caution:  URAPC has not authorized any other organization to collect donations for URAPC petition signature gathering. 
·       Those Interested In A Free Bus Ride To Washington, DC to participate in the 9:30 Am, July 15 “March on DC Against Amnesty” need to get their reservations made with Barbara Heller before June 28 at (  Heller needs  at least a dozen more sign up to secure a free bus transportation from AZ to DC.  Hotel rooms with 2 double beds have been blocked at $69+tax per room, per night. (need to reserve for July 14th & 15th if on the Arizona bus.) This event is being organized by the newly formed Black American Leadership Alliance (BALA). ·       A Victim Of The IRS Targeting Will Address The Arizona Project at 6:30 pm, June 24 at 3375 E. Shea Blvd, #2, Phx, to discuss his harassment by the IRS. ·       LD19 Is Raffling Two Percussion .44 Caliber Pistols and a few accessories. These are “cap and ball” black powder pistol designs from the 1850s and 1860s. These are Cowboy Guns. According to Joseph Hobbs, the prize is two percussion .44 caliber pistols that are safe, accurate reproductions, excellent workmanship, Historically Significant handguns:
Ø  Colt Walker inspired .44cal. Dragoon #3 (a.k.a..44cal. 1851 Navy Colt) (5 shots fired!) and
Ø  Remington .44 caliber Model 1858 (never fired!)

·       The  Arizona Citizens Defense League’s (AzCDL) Eighth Annual Independence Day (July 4th) Rifle Match is limited to 90 shooters. Entry fee is $60, including membership. ·       The AZCDL Is Raffling Its Last Two AR-15 Style Rifles (separately) until after our October Annual Meeting of Members: .  Winners will be drawn Sept 15.
ü  The first rifle is a Colt Light Carbine, chambered for .223 Remington, with a non-lined 16”barrel and bird-cage flash hider.  This rifle is optics ready with a flat top.  A standard capacity 30 round magazine is included.
ü  The second rifle is a DPMS Panther A-15, chambered for 5.56 mm NATO, with iron sights, 16” barrel and a 6 position stock. A standard capacity 30 round magazine is included.
Tickets are $10 each.  Only 500 tickets have been printed for each raffle.  The drawing date for both raffles is September 15, 2013. Tickets can be purchased at AzCDL’s online store:
