Do you believe in the Tooth Fairy?

·       “Alcohol Was Involved In More Than A Third Of The Fatal Crashes Across The State Over Last Year’s Labor Day Weekend,” according to Governor’s Office of Highway Safety Director Alberto Gutier. “This I-17 safety campaign is part of a statewide effort where officers will target impaired drivers who put innocent lives at risk. If you drive hammered, be prepared to get nailed.”

·       Arizona Federation Of Republican Women Pass Resolution Supporting Congressman Matt Salmon:   Adopts Resolution On Proposed 28th Amendment - In a strong effort to bring transparency and accountability to Congress, Reps. Matt Salmon (R-AZ) and Ron DeSantis (R-FL) introduced a constitutional amendment to prohibit their legislative body from passing any law that exempts Members of Congress. “A government of the people, by the people, for the people should live under the same rules it passes for the people. It’s that simple,” said Rep. Matt Salmon (AZ-05) in a statement.  He went on to say, “That is why this amendment is necessary. How can the American people trust Congress to fix a broken Washington when they don’t even live under the same rules? Washington should live by the same rules as every family and business, and I encourage all Americans to join us in moving this legislation forward.”

The Arizona Federation of Republic Women fully endorses this effort and shares Congressman Salmon’s sentiment. “The Arizona Federation of Republican Women strongly supports Rep Salmon for his efforts to introduce this constitutional amendment which is long overdue. AzFRW is also endeavoring to bring forward a resolution in support of same at our pending NFRW Biennial Convention in September” said Mary Williams, President of the Arizona Federation of Republican Women.
