Attention PC's.  You overwhelmingly voted for resolutions opposing the Obamacare Medicaid Expansion in Arizona. The Governor and 15 Republicans ignored your wishes, called a special session, temporarily replaced leadership, and shoved it down your throats. The Referendum will stop the Expansion. We have two days left.  If you have a petition please get signatures and turn it in.  We need every single petition turned in.  - URAPC Chairman Christine Bauserman
·       LD16 Precinct Committeemen Selected Dave Farnsworth, John Fillmore And Rep Kelly Townsend as nominees to out the term of Sen. Richard Crandall, who resigns to take a position out of state. The nominees will be sent to the Maricopa County Board of Supervisors for selection of one of the nominees.
·       Pima County Voters Are Urged To Go To Pima County GOP Headquarters Before 5 Pm, Monday, Sept 9 To Sign The “People’s Veto” (Anti-Medicaid Expansion) Petition to get it on the ballot. Pima GOP HQ is located at 5447 East 5th Street, Suite 100 (on 5th Street, just west of Craycroft (north side of street). Tucson, AZ 85711. Monday is also the last day to turn in any petitions even if they only have a few signatures. If you have no transportation to headquarters on Monday, please call the office Monday morning 520.321.1492. The GOP team of petition signature gatherers will make every effort to drive to your home. If you live in the northwest part of town and need a notary for your petition, Dwayne Koval (520.360.2373) has offered his notary services for free. Please call him (Monday morning, Sept 9), and he will arrange to meet you to notarize your petition. Any other petitions may be notarized at Pima GOP headquarters Monday (also free). ·       URAPC Chairman Christine Bauserman is asking that petitions gatherers can help the counting effort by :
ü  Please take a pen and 'x' through any empty spots on the petitions.
ü  Verify you put the county on the top of the petition.  This is the very last item in the wording before the wording.
ü  Check "volunteer".
ü  Put counties together and then group "10's", "9's", etc.

·       Apache County GOP Chairman Delos Bond reports that former Apache County Democratic Chairman Milton Ollerton reregistered as a  Republican at the Republican booth set up at the Apache County Fair this weekend.

·       LD9 Rep Debbi Lesko Is Walking Away With All Kinds Of Awards this year. She was named the Guardian of Small Business by the National Federation of Independent Businesses (NFIB), the Persons of the Year by the Arizona Rock Products Association, the State Chairman of the Year by the American Legislative Exchange Council, an organization of over 2,000 conservative state legislators from across the nation. She is the AZ ALEC Arizona. She is also an Arrowhead Federation of Republican Women member.
·       Yavapai County GOP activist and former Phoenix City Councilwoman Fran Barwood is home and on the road to recovery after a 10-day stay in the Prescott Hospital following a bad fall that revealed some serious internal damage. Trooper that she is, she had her laptop at the hospital and continued her GOP work for the Hwy 69 Republicans.
·       Wes Harris Needs Volunteers To Man The "Arizonans Against Common Core" booth when Political TV Show host Glen Beck comes to Phx in October 11 & 12.   There will be a VIP luncheon at noon, a preshow at 5 pm, and main event featuring Beck and David Barton Oct 11 at Comerica (formerly Dodge Theater). Limited seating. ·       The Governor's Team, Aka "Restoring Arizona" has reportedly received contributions totaling $364,000 to be used to stop URAPC from gathering enough petitions to get the Medicaid Expansion on the ballot.
·       Bikers-Roll-Out-For-DC-911-Counter-Protest-With-A-Solid-Plan  Organizers of the “2 Million Bikers To DC” have called on bikers from all over the country to ride to DC to “remember those who were killed on 9/11 and honor our armed forces who fought those who precipitated this attack,” and counter protest the “Million American March Against Fear” – formally called by the more inflammatory name, the “Million Muslim March.”

·       Since The US Fish & Wildlife Service (USFWS) Has Opted Not To Hold A Public Hearing in Cochise County on the USFWS plan to expand the Mexican Wolf Recovery area to include Cochise County, the Cochise County Board of Supervisors is holding a public meeting at 10:30 am, Sept 10 at the Cochise County Board of Supervisors in Bisbee to gather information that will be submitted to USFWS.
