·       There Is Growing Concern Over The ‘Open Border’ Situation We Face In Arizona because the White House has ordered the Border Patrol to stand down during the shut down.  Expect pressure to be put on Gov. Jan Brewer to call a special legislative session to call-up the Arizona National Guard to help curb the illegal crossing, and the drug and human trafficking that is currently running free due to the shutdown. Brewer’s office is 602-542-4331, press 4 to speak with a live person.

·       MUST READ: Zack Taylor, Chair Of The National Association Of Former Border Patrol Officers:  The press, the elite political establishment and this administration are subjecting you to an intense diet of political deception concerning Immigration reform. The obvious purpose of their deception is to convince you that illegal aliens are not a problem and that immigration laws are designed to provide a pathway to citizenship for aliens who violate our laws. You have even been told that the border is safer than it has ever been. None of what the press, the political elite or the administration is telling you is true.

Approximately a year ago, the Naco Border Patrol Station was renamed for Agent Brian Terry who was murdered by weapons provided to drug cartels by the United States Government. Since then, here in Cochise County Arizona, we have suffered the loss of Border Patrol Agent Nicholas Ivey and Sheriff Larry Dever.

Within this time frame there was a Congressional Border tour sponsored by our group, NAFBPO. Field Agents reported to the delegation that 30% of the Border was unpatrolled on a monthly basis and they estimated that they were apprehending less than 3% of what they knew was crossing the border illegally in the 70% of the border that they did patrol.

Prior to that operation, Department of Homeland Security claimed that Border Patrol Tucson Sector was apprehending or turning back south 3 out of 4 illegal aliens that they knew crossed the border.

However, when the 100% accurate Vadar Radar was used 24/7 for an extended period of time, 7533 illegal crossers were counted and 410 were apprehended, of which 52 or 35% were drug smugglers.

The actual metric was not 75% apprehended, but 5.4% apprehended.

Considering that the Border Patrol had advance notice of the Vadar Radar mission they probably concentrated additional agents into the area which gives further credence to the field agents estimate of less than 3% apprehended on a monthly basis.

By extrapolating from the 2013 Tucson Sector Apprehensions of 118, 109 we arrive at the following: 118,109/3 x 97 = 3,818,576 Got-a-ways through Tucson Sector in FY-2013.

Since 2006, the annual percentage of illegal aliens apprehended that were reported in Tucson Sector has varied between 15-30% that al-ready have criminal records inside the United States. Charitably, that means that in the last 8 years approximately 4 million criminal aliens may have come into the United States illegally through Tucson Sector alone. The truth is that

These criminal aliens live among us and the first step in any meaningful Immigration reform is to identify, process and remove every sin-gle deportable alien in prison, in jail or on probation for the commission of a crime in the United States and this must take place before any other part of the Immigration reform situation is considered.

It is time to challenge the deceivers.  - Zack Taylor. Chairman National Association of Former Border Patrol Officers, Inc.

·       Is President Obama's Ego More Important To Ann Kirkpatrick Than Her Constituents? Kirkpatrick Avoids Responsibility to District, Instead Backs Obama and Pelosi     Robert Graham, Chairman of the Arizona Republican Party, joined business owners and in Northern Arizona to demand Congresswoman Ann Kirkpatrick side with her Arizona constituents rather than Democrat leaders in Washington, and asked her to vote to support  the communities near the Grand Canyon which have been devastated since Kirkpatrick voted to protect Obamacare rather than protect the Grand Canyon.

Last week, Rep. Ann Kirkpatrick voted with her Democrat colleagues in the House to deny funding to the Grand Canyon National Park, an economic engine that has an impact of nearly a half-billion dollars per year and supports 7,400 jobs. The closure is having a negative effect on nearly every resident, business, and local government in the area. Grand Canyon communities are estimated to be losing $1.3 million every day the park remains closed.        "The whole world knows Arizona as the Grand Canyon State, but it seems Ann Kirkpatrick is more interested in pleasing Nancy Pelosi and President Obama than looking out for the people in her district," said Arizona Republican Party Chairman Robert Graham. "Representative Kirkpatrick had an opportunity to do the right thing and vote to keep the Grand Canyon open, but she's just shirking her true responsibilities in favor of blind obedience to her Democrat leadership."

Joy Staveley, who runs one of the oldest, family river running businesses in the Grand Canyon is Treasurer of the Grand Canyon River Outfitters Association said, "Grand Canyon river outfitters (all small businesses) and their employees are getting hammered financially with this Park Service shut down. We are a seasonal industry and October is a prime time for rowing in the Grand Canyon. Outfitter customers have been planning for more than a year to take this “once-in-a-life-time” adventure vacation, only to see the federal government lock the gates because people like Ann Kirkpatrick have turned their backs on us."

Last week Governor Jan Brewer joined with Senate President Andy Biggs and Speaker of the House Andy Tobin to request President Obama allow them to keep the park open with state and private funds as has been done in the past.  Today, Tusayan Mayor Greg Bryan reported to the media that the town had raised $400,000 to operate the park, but the park service still refused to open.

·       Michael Short, A Spokesman With The Republican National Committee says: “By refusing to compromise and allowing the government to shut down, President Obama and the Democrat majority in Washington have failed the most basic responsibility of governing. “In an era of divided government, Washington Democrats cannot insist on getting 100 percent of what they want. The DNC would be better off bringing members of their own party to the negotiating table, where Republicans are waiting and the American people expect them to be.”
