·        Volunteers Needed: Maricopa County Republican Headquarters - West Needs Volunteers for four-hour shifts at the Sun City office, 10050 Bell Road (NW corner of 99Ave/Bell Rd).  The office has two-staffers per shift. Several shifts are open.  There are many exciting events planned for the immediate future including fund raisers, training programs, speakers, and other projects that require a variety of skills.  Volunteers have an opportunity of interfacing with elected officials, district chairmen, precinct committeemen as well as the public. ·        The Pima County Republican Party’s March 8 Lincoln Day Dinner is scheduled at 6 pm (reception) 7 pm (dinner) at the Radisson Hotel, 6555 E. Speedway, Tucson. ·        Competition is warming up as candidates vie for the Maricopa County Board of Supervisors seat that will be vacated March 11 by long-time board member Max Wilson – due to health. Officially announced candidates include MCRC EGC Member at Large Joe Hobbs, former Arizona legislators Jean McGrath and Jack Harper, and Dick Hensley.  One of Wilsons daughters is reportedly a candidate as well.

·        Phoenix City Council Sal DiCiccio Reports That The Domestic Violence Plan will be available Friday. He has been working with Councilman Nowakoski and Williams to move Phx into the position of becoming the national leader in ending domestic violence and serving it’s victims. ·        The Pinal County Republican Clubs Are Planning A “Let’s Pool Our Resources” Open House Fundraiser from 11 am to 3 pm, June 8 at Pratt Pool, 112 E. ·        LD27 And Cochise County Republicans Have Joined LDs 12, 15, 16, 17, 22 And The Pima County Republicans in passing resolutions in opposition to the Governor’s Medicaid Expansion (AHCCCS) in support of Obamacare. 
·        LD1, 13, 20, 21, And 30 Are Also Reportedly Working On Similar Opposition resolutions to bring before their PCs at upcoming meetings.
·        The Northern Arizona University College Republicans are planning a trip to Washington DC for CPAC between March 13-18.  In order to send students they are selling raffle tickets for a Tasers C2 that retails for $400. ·        The City Of Glendale Is Conducting A North Glendale Park-And-Ride/Transit Center Study to determine the location and type of new transit facilities needed to serve current and future transit needs. The study identified and evaluated 13 potential sites in northwest Glendale for their suitability in locating a future transit center and park-and-ride facility. An analysis of current and future transit passenger travel demand was also conducted to determine future facility needs.
Through this process, six possible candidate sites have been recommended for further evaluation.
