·        Maricopa County GOP LD1, 12, 13, 15, 16, 17, 18, 20, 21 22, 23, 25, 26, 27 and 30;Pima County Republican LDs 2, 3 ,4, 9, 10, 11, 14;  the Coconino Republican Executive Committee , along with the Pinal, Cochise and the Cochise County Republican Committees have united in passing resolutions in opposition to the Governor’s Medicaid Expansion (AHCCCS) in support of Obamacare.  Pinal County Republicans passed their resolution back in February.

·        Mohave County Board Of Supervisors Buster Johnson attended the National Association of Counties (NACo) in Washington DC in early March and participated in the Tomb of the Unknown Solider's wreath laying ceremony at Arlington National Cemetary.  

·        LD13 Chairman Dr. Robert Branch has returned from a fishing trip in Alabama.

·        Sen. Al Melvin Will Address The Saddlebrooke Republican Club at 4 pm, April 3 at the Mountain View Club House in Tucson.

·        Rob Tuttle recently escaped the snowy Midwest for a few days of golf with his parents Lyle and Lolly Tuttle of Coyote Lakes.  Lyle is a past Maricopa County Republican Chairman.

·        A New Veterans Administration Clinic will open in Kingman this fall, according to Mohave Board of Supervisors Buster Johnson.

·        Buster Johnson, Mohave County Board of Supervisors, has received the prestigious National Elks Distinguished Citizenship Award during the Elks Annual Awards Dinner.

·        Volunteers Needed: Maricopa County Republican Headquarters - West Needs Volunteers for four-hour shifts at the Sun City office, 10050 Bell Road (NW corner of 99Ave/Bell Rd).  The office has two-staffers per shift. Several shifts are open.  There are many exciting events planned for the immediate future including fund raisers, training programs, speakers, and other projects that require a variety of skills.  Volunteers have an opportunity of interfacing with elected officials, district chairmen, precinct committeemen as well as the public. ·        Congressman David Schweikert’s district office is looking for full-time internship applicants for the 2013 summer term (May through August). Please note that this is an unpaid internship. Responsibilities include answering the phone, assisting with constituent casework, correspondence, and events.
