·        LD13 Chairman Robert Branch Has Announced that Arizona Corporation Commissioner Gary Pierce and the newly appointed District 4 Maricopa County Board of Supervisor Clint Hickman will address LD13 PCs at the 6:30 pm, April 9 meeting in the PebbleCreek Tuscany Falls Club house, 16222 Clubhouse Dr., Goodyear. ·        The Goldwater Institute Will Host A Debate Watching Party of the debate about the role of labor unions in state and local government” from 5:15-7 pm, April 7 at 500 E. Coronado Rd, Phx - as broadcast from KTVK-TV (Chan 3). Facing off on Channel 3’s “Politics Unplugged” will be Goldwater Institute constitutional policy expert Nick Dranias and former state Senator David Lujan, whose experience with union issues includes his prior service as an attorney for the National Labor Relations Board. And tensions have been high at the state capitol this year as state lawmakers have been sharply divided on proposals to limit the influence of unions.
