·        HB2282 will be reconsidered April 22. The measure calls for a primary election in the case of a recall as required in every other election and required under the Arizona Constitution. This bill counters recall elections supported by Randy Parraz. Former Senate President and current AZGOP First Vice Chairman asks voters to contact the senators listed below and request their support for HB2282.

·     Sen. Michele Reagan’s S1003 (would prevent anyone from gathering up armfuls of early ballots and dropping them off at the polls on election day, cutting down on potential voter fraud) is scheduled for an April 22 vote.

·        Arrowhead Republican Women will not meet in June, July, August. They will resume on the second Wednesday in September, according to First Vice Chairman Judy Blackburn.
·        Arizona’s Colonel (retired) Martha McSally will appear before the Senate Judiciary Subcommittee on the Constitution, Civil Rights, and Human Rights at 4 pm (EST) April 23 in Room 226 the Dirksen Senate Office Building. She will testify as a national security and targeting expert at a hearing called: "Drone Wars: The Constitutional and Counterterrorism Implications of Targeted Killing."   McSally led targeting efforts in Africa while serving as the Chief of Current Operations of United States Africa Command from 2007-2010. She also has extensive experience in the military targeting process using unmanned and manned platforms in several other positions throughout her 26 year career. As a former Professor of National Security Studies at the George C. Marshall Center, Martha brings unique experience to the hearing as a national security expert who has strategic, operational, and tactical experience in this important subject.  "I am honored to be invited to testify and provide insights to the military targeting process and the use of remotely piloted vehicles (aka 'drones') as a strike platform," says McSally.
