·       The 4 PM,  July 1, 2013 Congressional Field Hearing Will Be Live Streamed From Prescott’s Embry Riddle Aeronautical University Campus by the Arizona Project. The Congressional panel consisting of Congressmen Paul Gosar, Matt Salmon, David Schweikert and Trent Franks, panel will seek live testimony from fellow Arizonans regarding EPA overreach and IRS abuse. ·       Cactus Conservative Club Action Alert:  Petitions to put Medicaid Expansion on 2014 General Election Ballot will be available to sign between 10 am and noon June 28 and 29 at the Legend Trail Community Center 34575 N. Legend Trail Parkway, Scottsdale. The petitions are to permit Arizona voters to approve or disapprove Medicaid expansion (ObamaCare) to a portion of the state budget. Regardless of party, all registered voters may sign.
·       LD21 PC Captain Randy Miller Has Announced His Candidacy For The Surprise City Council #6. He was named the 2012 Surprise Regional Chamber of Commerce Entrepreneur and received the 2012 Surprise Lions Club ‘certificate of appreciation’ for community experience.  He is a retired senior deputy probation officer (Santa Barbara County, CA),  serves on the Rio Salado Community College Small Business Entrepreneurship Advisory Committee, is vice chair of the Civic Affairs Committee for the Surprise Regional Chamber of Commerce, and has served on the board of Eve’s Place – a battered women and children’s shelter.  Contact:  Randy Miller   623-866-3544

·       Wanted-300-Spartans-To-Fight-Obamacare-In-Arizona  Volunteers Needed: Tom Jenney, AZ Director of Americans for Prosperity (AFP) www.aztaxpayers.org is looking for 300 volunteer “Grassroots Spartans” who will pledge to obtain 400 signatures before Sept. 1 for the URAPC referendum to get the Medicaid Expansion on the November ballot.
