·       Condolences To The Family Of LD8 Sen Candidate Harold Vangilder. His wife Carmelle has lost her mother to illness.


·       Condolences LD24 House Candidate Lei Lani Cortez and her family. Cortez lost her brother-in-law Cleat Drain.


·       Former Finland Ambassador Barbara Barrett will speaker at the 12:30 pm, Tues, March 4 special naturalization ceremony for military members in the floor of the Arizona House of Representatives, 1700 W Washington, Phx. Four military members will take the Oath of Allegiance and be sworn in as U.S. Citizens by the US Citizenship and Immigration Services. Speaker of the House Andy Tobin, R-Prescott and Senate President Andy Biggs, R-Gilbert, will open the ceremony, co-sponsored by Assistant Minority Leader Senator Lynne Pancrazi, D-Yuma and Majority Whip Senator Adam Driggs, R-Phoenix. Naturalization is the process by which U.S. citizenship is granted to a foreign citizen or national after he or she fulfills the requirements established by Congress in the Immigration and Nationality Act. Barrett served as Interim President of Thunderbird School of Global Management, and earned her bachelor, master and law degrees at Arizona State University.


·       AZGOP Robert Graham is among the Phoenix delegation in Washington DC that is hoping to bring the 2016 RNC  convention to Phoenix.  Used to sunny Arizona weather, they are wearing overcoats in the snow-laden east coast city.

·       Attorney General Tom Horne Kicked Off The Start Of National Consumer Protection Week (NCPW) with the launch of a new user-friendly website design to help Arizona consumers avoid falling victim to scams and deceptive business practices. The website, at, features topics on consumer issues, online complaint form, the latest scams and rip-offs, consumer protection tips. Horne’s office handles thousands of complaints annually. In 2013, the AG’s office recovered more than $9.5 million on behalf of consumers. ·       The AZCDL Is Raffling Off  Three Glock Model 23 Gen 4 Pistols. These pistols are chambered for .40 S&W and come with interchangeable grip back straps. ·       The Arizona Women's History Alliance Presents "Arizona Women Hiding In Plain Sight," a symposium dedicated to Arizona Women’s History March 28-29 in Cholla Hall Rm 110 at Chandler-Gilbert Community College.  The Friday, March 28 session runs from 8:30 am to 5 pm. The Sat., March 29 even runs from 8:30 am- 12:30 pm. Opening remarks by The Honorable Sandra Day O’Connor, Retired Associate Justice of the U.S. Supreme Court. This is the first major public educational project of the Arizona Women's History Alliance (AWHA), a collaboration of the Arizona Women’s Hall of Fame and the Arizona Women’s Heritage Trail.
