·       Gubernatorial Candidate Christine Jones:  At a recent forum I was asked one of the single-most important questions that a candidate for political office can face. The question was, “Where does your moral compass come from?” At three years old, I climbed onto the Sunday School bus that drove the neighborhood kids to the local evangelical church. It was there that I learned about God and His Son, Jesus. Since then, I have let my personal relationship with Him be my moral compass. One of my life phrases is, “Do the right thing because it’s the right thing to do.” I am not interested in making excuses or politicizing important issues. I am interested in doing things based on conviction and personal belief. As Governor, I can promise you that I will adhere to my moral compass.

·       Gubernatorial Candidate Frank Riggs:  Democrats in Congress claim the Congressional Republicans' budget proposal (the "Ryan Budget") will harm Medicaid recipients, yet they have no qualms about raiding Medicare to fund Obamacare. The Ryan Budget is a serious and responsible proposal to balance the federal budget over the next decade. Democrats not only make no pretense of balancing the budget or curbing the deficits that have given us a $17.6 trillion national debt, they have placed a huge burden for funding Obamacare squarely on the backs of seniors. One of the key reasons I'm running for Governor is to protect Medicare and senior health care choices while putting a stop to Obamacare and the Obamanization of Arizona. Obamacare is primed to funnel $200 billion out of Medicare Advantage and into Obamacare over the next decade. Altogether, over the next decade, about $1 trillion that otherwise would have been spent on Medicare will have to be rerouted to fund Obamacare subsidies. As a member of Congress, I fought to reform and strengthen Medicare. I'm the only candidate for governor with a proven record of protecting Medicare. It should remain a retirement health insurance program and shouldn't be raided to pay for Obamacare, including the expansion of Medicaid in Arizona. Arizonans and all Americans want choice and freedom, not mandates, when it comes to their health care. Let's work together and get it done.

·       CD3 Candidate Gabriela Saucedo-Mercer: "Rep. (Raul) Grijalva's elitist sentiment shows how out of touch he is with the people, you, in CD3, and freedom loving Americans who are simply telling their government that enough is enough. Government is too big and it is out of control. Grijalva's views and statements are so typical of career progressive politicians who will fight against the people they are supposed to represent...and Americans across the country are fed-up. The Federal Government is acting tyrannical, and some of our politicians are supporting it, like Nevada's own Harry Reid, and Raul Grijalva." We the people...must demand that our government adhere to our US Constitution. ALEC is an organization who exercises its free speech rights, just as the Goldwater Institute and other organizations do. It is called the First Amendment, something a Democrat like Grijalva does not understand, except when he speaks.

·       Congressman David Schweikert:  Recently, the issue of tax simplification and reform was at the top of the agenda in the House Small Business Committee. I heard testimony from small business owners who spoke about the money and time lost to tax compliance. In fact, studies show that many small business owners pent upwards of 80 hours just to prepare their taxes. This is preposterous and a perfect example of why we need to reform the tax code to make it more fair. Today, our tax code is thousands of pages long and nearly unworkable for most Americans without professional guidance. This why I support comprehensive tax reform, like Rep. Dave Camp's ‘Tax Reform Act of 2014’.
