·       Campaign Signs Missing? According To Doug Nintzel, Arizona Department Of Public Transportation Public Information Officer, “ If campaign signs that are incorrectly placed within state highway right-of-way boundaries are collected by ADOT crews, they are taken to maintenance yards and are kept there for a couple of weeks to give campaigns some time to pick them up.”  He added, “Under state law, no campaign signs are allowed within the right of way ‎along state highways. ADOT sends letters to registered candidates each campaign cycle as a reminder of the prohibition against signs within highway right of way areas.”  So, if check with the nearby ADOT Maintenance Yard to see if your missing signs are stored there. See  ARS 16-1019 –political

·       Candidate Yard Signs In Your Neighborhood Are Legal.  The First Amendment of the U.S. Constitution guarantees your right to free speech, and state law supports homeowners' rights to display political yard signs during election season -- despite HOA rules which may try to restrict your rights. See HB 2069 (toward the end of the document) and it's clear that an HOA cannot enforce sign regulations that are more restrictive than those of the city, town or county according to AZGOP Chairman Robert Graham.  If you are living in an HOA and run into this situation, visit the AZGOP Facebook page and tell your side of the story.

·       Gubernatorial Candidate Andy Thomas: I’ve arrived home following a great trip to southern Arizona: to Sierra Vista last night, for a candidates’ forum co-hosted by the Cochise County Republicans and the 1200 Club, and to Sonoita today, for a Sonoita-Elgin Tea Party candidates’ forum at the Santa Cruz County Fairgrounds. En route to Sierra Vista, I was still fielding calls from outraged liberal media elites about my TV ad. Here’s a political rule of thumb you can count on: The candidate bashed most regularly by the media is the true conservative in the race. Please vote accordingly.

·       CD2 Candidate Martha McSally: This week was a big week on the campaign trail, as we outraised our incumbent opponent for the fourth quarter in a row. We raised over $653,000, nearly $100,000 more than Congressman Barber, something almost unheard of for a challenger taking on an incumbent. Our continued success garnered a lot of attention from the media and is an indicator of our growing support and momentum. Four Quarters In a Row: "Outraising an incumbent is a rare feat, not to mention doing it four times over 12 months." -Rebekah Sanders, Arizona Republic. McSally outraises Barber   Super Saturday Success: We had a great turnout for our first Super Saturday, with over 50 volunteers coming in to help make calls and knock doors. Martha delivered a rousing campaign update, and, more importantly, the pizza. This week's news: Yes, our volunteers wear suits. She really knows how to turn out a crowd. McSally Campaign = Winners:  "Winners: Martha McSally: The retired Air Force colonel brought in $653,000 for her campaign against Rep. Ron Barber (D-Ariz.), one of the most vulnerable Democratic incumbents in the House. Barber still has a cash-on-hand advantage, but McSally has been able to convince donors that she can close the deal the second time around, after a very close 2012 loss." Winners and losers from the second quarter of fundraising    What They're Saying: McSally Out-Raises Barber For Full Year in CD2    Col. Shannon Klug, U.S. Air Force: What is courage in today's Air Force?     McSally Reports Raising More Than $653,000 in Second Quarter   Pelosi's bold prediction likely wrong   Social Media Highlight:  Martha on Facebook and Twitter .

·       Maricopa County Community College Board candidate Tracy Livingston: I am a third term Peoria Unified School Governing Board member, a fiscal republican who will fight for quality education without spending every last dime of taxpayer money. I am a teacher with a masters degree but in the classroom I stand before students and attempt to pass on knowledge. I fought, helped steer the PUSD board away from the Union; we are not a union negotiating board. I am fighting against out of state travel and other perks. Teachers pay for their seminars and travel, the top should do the same. Teachers not administration are the gold. I am fighting to strengthen the drug policies on our campuses and to see where food is going in this new Obama food agenda. I believe the current flux in curriculum will hurt students thus lowering the level of students entering college. We need working knowledge to be prepared to serve our students wherever they fall as they enter our system. I want to define myself as the board member willing to listen to parents, teachers, students, your needs and make rationale decisions. I want change not status quo. What you see is what you will get…no gimmicks, just a hardworking teacher, K–12 board member who will make decisions using solid core values. We must train our future. Or our future is gone. Solid Conservative fighting for education of today, tomorrow and our future.

·       CD1 Candidate Andy Tobin: I’m a small business owner who has devoted my life to positively impacting through job creation, public service and advocating conservative principles.  The DCCC and liberal left know they face a candidate who is a battle-tested conservative.  They’ve listed AZ1 as one of their top targets, pouring millions into keeping Ann Kirkpatrick. fight back & donate now  She’s developed a reputation for not showing up to work; she votes for higher taxes, more spending and against balancing the budget.  She’s known for missing 16 votes in the first week of the 113th Congress. Ann Kirkpatrick shows ardent support in protecting Obamacare and willingness to let the government shutdown.  She’s fiercely loyal to Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid, who are spending millions attacking our campaign through their PACs. Kirkpatrick doesn’t stand up for Arizona, she stands up for Pelosi, Reid and Obama.  Arizona deserves more. As your Congressman, I will fighting against reckless immigration laws, wasteful spending, ever-increasing taxes, government intrusion, and insiders that are taking away your freedoms. We must have representatives with conservative conviction.  The past eight years as an Arizona legislator, I’ve saved taxpayers millions of dollars and led the fight to stop the implementation of the disastrous ObamaCare. While serving as House Speaker, I cut government spending by $3 billion, balanced Arizona’s budget and presided over the largest tax cuts in Arizona’s history. I will fight to create sustainable jobs, help small businesses succeed, build a stronger middle class, put Arizona back on track, protect our borders, invest in defense, and hold the Obama Administration and Executive Branch Accountable. Vote on August 26.
