·       Heads Up –LD/GOP Club Chairmen and other Conservative Leaders:  MCRC Chairman A J LaFaro is alerting leaders that a college age girl –who says she is representing “American Bridge”  - has been been removed from several GOP/Conservative and LD meetings after she appears uninvited and sets up a camera to record the meeting. Earlier this week she was removed from an LD1 meeting and LD18 Candidate Forum, as well as a Deer Valley Tea Party meeting. She is believed to be the same woman that  LaFaro “threw out’ of the January Mandatory MCRC meeting and the Maricopa Lincoln Day Luncheon. American Bridge reportedly records Republicans and uses commentary against them. See /psst-gop-american-bridge-is-watching

The video is a follow-up to his #ObamaFailures initiative on Twitter, during which he listed one example, every half hour, of ways the Obama Administration has failed the American people, with the goal of coming as close to listing every failure as possible. The tweets lasted nearly a week. The #ObamaFailures video is a similar attempt to capture all of this Administration’s failures in one place, but as the video description points out, the failures are so numerous that the average American probably doesn’t even have time to read them all. Today, the Prescott community has much to be proud of and should celebrate the remarkable life of an American hero,”  said Gosar. His widow Anne McKinley said, ‘Today is a very special day in honor of a very special man.” The House of Representatives unanimously passed H.R. 1216 on June 17, 2014 followed by the Senate on July 9, 2014. Gosar’s House speech HERE. Dr. McKinley, received the Military Order of the Purple Heart for "exceptionally meritorious and conspicuous service to his community, fellow citizens and veterans.”

·       Congressman David Schweikert: "I believe that if President Obama were to see firsthand what is really happening at a border spot like Arizona, he would understand the need to deploy the National Guard there immediately," says Rep. David Schweikert. The Arizona Republican recently introduced the Southwest BorderProtection Act, which would deploy at least 10,000 National Guard personnel on the Southwest border region until "operation control" is achieved, he says.   The border crisis could prove a 'big boost' for Republicans as the midterms approach

·       Congressman Trent Franks Has Been Named The Biggest Spending Cutter in the entire U.S. House of Representatives, according the a recent report released by the National Taxpayers’ Union Foundation, which tallies Representatives’ individual votes and how much they would ultimately add or subtract from the federal deficit. According to Pete Sepp, Executive Vice President of the National Taxpayers’ Union Foundation, “Last year, House members with legislative agendas to increase federal spending outnumbered those who would reduce spending, while fewer still proposed to cut the budget by more than $100 billion. Congressman Franks far exceeded this level of spending restraint. If all lawmakers had sponsored agendas similar in savings to that of Congressman Franks, the federal budget deficit would likely be significantly lower than it is today.” Franks said, “The primary role of government in the economy is to foster a secure, predictable, and trustworthy national venue, and then simply get out of the way of free enterprise and let the people produce. This means less regulation, less taxes, less intrusion into private markets and business, and less federal spending. “I am honored to have been named the biggest spending cutter in the House of Representatives and strive to chart a course that ensures my children get to walk in the sunlight of freedom in the same America in which I was born and raised. And that means ensuring our nation doesn’t spend itself into oblivion.”

·       LD28 House Candidate Mary Hamway: “As a lifelong Republican, I am shocked at a mailer sent to voters about me from a dark money group that was so full of lies it is not worth the paper it's printed on.The group sending it has ties to my opponent. The Arizona Republic has wrote extensively about their deceptive mailers and this is one more example. Shawnna Bolick and her dark money cronies who sent this mailer should be ashamed. I hope you will see through their lies and vote for me Mary Hamway – an honest, hard working person like you.”   See Mary Hamway  securing the border

·       CD2 Candidate Martha McSally:  Retired Air Force Colonel Martha McSally today released her second ad of the year. The ad features Southern Arizonans sharing how McSally has made a difference in their lives and shows that serving others is who she is. "Southern Arizonans know Martha is running for office because serving others is a core part of who she is," said McSally Campaign Spokesman Patrick Ptak. "That's why they're willing to come forward and talk about how she's helped them in their own lives. They know Martha will work for us, not Washington." To watch the ad, click here.   This is the second ad of 2014 for McSally, who has outraised her incumbent opponent for the last four quarters. The 60-second ad will air on local broadcast and cable TV. Colonel Martha McSally (ret.) is an independent voice and 26-year veteran of the U.S. Air Force. She was the first woman to fly in combat and command a fighter squadron in U.S. history. She is committed to fighting for equal treatment of women and more opportunity for the middle class, and has been active in defending Southern Arizona's

·       Gubernatorial Candidate Ken Bennett: The next Governor of Arizona must be prepared for the challenges they’ll face upon taking office in 2015. Our economy remains fragile.  The southern border is not secure.  The state budget is not in balance, courts have said the state owes our schools millions and we don’t even own our state capitol building.  Needless to say, the state’s next chief executive will have their hands full. Without experienced leadership, the state’s financial situation could spiral out of control quickly. As a 5th generation Arizonan, I've seen our state experience amazing growth.  For as long as I can remember, families and businesses have flocked to Arizona for the countless opportunities the Copper State has to offer.  But since the economic downturn, our state has struggled to regain its footing.  Thousands of people lost their jobs during the recession and we've only recovered about half of those jobs so far, lagging behind the rest of the country. If our state is to return to the level of prosperity we enjoyed less than 10 years ago, we must be innovative and forward thinking in our approach.  We should consider bold ideas like gradual elimination of the state’s income tax, paying down state debt, enhancing public safety and doing our best to provide a quality education for our children. Arizona has a great opportunity to position itself as the place where people choose to live and raise a family.  If we are to live up to our potential, we must select a leader who has the vision to move our state forward and the experience of working with the legislature to get the job done.

·       Gubernatorial Candidate Scott Smith:  There's only 6 days until early ballots go out.  Smith has had an awesome week, from his piece in the Arizona Republic to his radio appearances. Don't believe those dark money polls pushed by Doug Ducey's allies...the only independent poll in this race has Smith, Christine Jones and Ducey within 5 points of each other with over 35% voters undecided. If a combined $4.5 million in paid media alone can't help Ducey and Jones pull away... Statements/Videos: Really?!      Supervisors Barney and Kunasek Endorse Smith for Governor    Tweets:No one in this campaign is talking reality about immigration. If it could have been done @GovBrewer absolutely would have done it.      Latest (credible) poll in #azgov race: Dead heat between @Mayor_Smith @dougducey and @JonesForGov w/ 41% undecided.       @mgsquires the best candidate in that room is @Mayor_Smith.      @aliarau @Mayor_Smith Smith is only Republican talking truth. Rest occupy space in Fantasyland.      I Got 'Scott Smith'. 'Which Arizona governor candidate should you vote for? on in my book! @mayor_smith         @Mayor_Smith At ASU today. You are the best candidate running. Sane, smart and appealing to voters like me who are tired of all the anger. Stories:  'Pragmatic' Smith touts Mesa success      GOP governor candidates emphasize Ariz.'s infrastructure      Arizona governor hopefuls debate hot-button issues     GOP Riggs' cheap shot at Christine Jones on death penalty       Quote:  "But Smith cautioned his colleagues of the costs and logistics of such plans. Gov. Jan Brewer, also a Republican, has taken every step she could to stop illegal immigration, but that it is the federal government's duty to secure the border, he said. Nobody here is talking reality," Smith said  – AP, July 23, 2014

·       CD2 Candidate Gary Kiehne: I’m writing to you to warn you: There is a desperate career politician on the loose, and his name is Andy Tobin. You may have seen the ridiculous and false attack mail piece Tobin sent Arizonans about me, and there’s only one reason he is stooping to this level: Andy Tobin is desperate. He knows that if you find out the truth about his record, there’s no way you will send him to Washington. Here’s the truth:

·          Andy Tobin helped lead the effort to put a billion-dollar tax increase on the ballot

·          As Speaker of the House, Tobin pushed through a budget that left Arizona with a deficit of over $400 million

·          Andy Tobin has taken more gifts from special interests and lobbyists than any other legislator in the Arizona House of Representatives

·          And Andy Tobin supports amnesty for illegal immigrants

Andy Tobin is a career politician who fleeced taxpayers in Phoenix and now wants to got to Washington D.C. so he can do the same thing. Here’s the sad part: Andy Tobin doesn’t even live in our district. No wonder he’s resorted to mudslinging. Unlike Tobin, I live here in the district and my businesses are here. I care about our district and I will fight for our shared conservative values every day – even if it ticks off the DC insiders in Washington.I will fight to repeal Obamacare no matter what. I will make sure the government finally secures our border.
