·       Congressman Paul Gosar: On Wednesday the House Natural Resources Subcommittee on Fisheries, Wildlife, Oceans and Insular Affairs Subcommittee held a legislative hearing on my legislation H.R. 5026, the Fish Hatchery Protection Act.  (2 sections)  My legislation will preserve propagation fish hatcheries and propagation programs within the National Fish Hatchery System and stipulates that only the Congress can authorize the termination or significant alteration of such facilities or programs. The Fish and Wildlife Service is attempting to unilaterally turn our National Fish Hatchery System into an endangered species recovery program. This is extremely misguided as several of the hatcheries affected were constructed more than 50 years ago for the sole purpose of offsetting the loss of native fisheries resulting from the construction of federal dams. This includes the Willow Beach National Fish Hatchery located on the Arizona side of the Colorado River 11 miles south of the Hoover Dam. I was grateful to hear testimony from Mohave County Board of Supervisors Chairman Hildy Angius at the hearing. She testified that nearly 1,700 jobs in Mohave County and nearly $75 million in economic output associated with the Willow Beach Hatchery are at risk as a result of the recent termination of the hatchery’s rainbow trout stocking program. hildy angius testifies

·       LD18 Senate Candidate Tom Morrissey: Hey, Where Is Everybody?   Our staunch ally and trusted friend Israel is under a deep threat to its very existence and it appears to me that no one is paying attention or standing up for them anywhere I look.  It is astounding that we, as a nation, are not doing something… anything for that brave little nation.  Am I missing something?  Is it that we are all in campaign mode?  Too distracted by efforts to get elected or re-elected?   Are any of our campaigns anywhere near as important as the survival of our ally Israel? These are questions we should all be asking ourselves.  These are questions that every elected official and candidate for office should be asking themselves.  Every damn one of us. My hand is up and I’m ready to answer my question.  Israel must survive!

·       Gubernatorial Candidate Frank Riggs:  I've been asked, "How do we know you have the guts and are strong enough to do what is necessary to secure our border and protect our state?"  I've been tempted to respond, "Have you seen my TV ad?" (see ad).  Joking aside, my record speaks for itself.  I'm tested, trusted and ready to lead on day one. I've taken three oaths: the soldier's oath when I enlisted in the Army (I'm the only vet running for governor), the law enforcement oath when I became a police officer out of the Army, and the oath of office when I was sworn into Congress for three terms.  My strength of character and leadership capabilities were forged by military, law enforcement and congressional service that taught me physical and moral courage and the absolute importance of honesty and integrity. I served as a military policeman, military police investigator and military police supervisor in the U.S. Army.  After leaving the Army, I was a police officer and deputy sheriff and performed a number of assignments including patrol, investigations and crime prevention.  As a U.S. Congressman, I helped secure the funding to build the double fence along the California border with Mexico, which was extended into Arizona along the Yuma Sector of the border, and I compiled a consistent voting record on congressional legislation to combat illegal immigration and amnesty measures (congress/50/votingrecord).

·       Gubernatorial Candidate Frank Riggs: I want to continue the fence along the Tucson Sector of the border and deploy the manpower and technology necessary to secure that Sector.  I propose to reorient the Arizona National Guard's mission to include law enforcement and border security, and deploy those units to supplement the Border Patrol, and border county sheriff's departments, in stopping the drug and alien smugglers and stemming the tide of illegal immigration and border violence.  I also intend to expand the Arizona Rangers, a proud organization that dates back to 1901 when Arizona was a territory.  Today, 350 men and women voluntarily serve as Arizona Rangers in 15 Ranger Companies throughout the state under the Arizona Peace Officers and Standards Training Board (POST) requirements.  As the only candidate for Governor with both military and law enforcement experience, I'm prepared to serve as Commander-In-Chief of the Arizona National Guard, and as the Chief of the Arizona Rangers, and will personally lead, from the front, the enforcement and security of our border.

·       CD2 Candidate Martha McSally: Today marks 100 days until Election Day, and we're committed to putting in the work to finish strong. Here's the thing, though -Nancy Pelosi and outside Democrat groups have committed over $1.5 million in attack ads against me. Without the resources to get my positive message out, they may very well steal this election right out from under us. That's why I need your help.To stay ahead of their attacks, we're asking our supporters to contribute $100 to keep our momentum up during the final 100 days of the election.  help us $100 will keep my positive ad up on TV for longer, ensuring we're able to cut through the wave of attacks ads from Democrat hit-groups.We can't just let Nancy Pelosi override the wishes of hardworking Arizonans.

·       CD2 Candidate Martha McSally: We released our second TV ad of the year and Martha published an op-ed on securing vital retirement programs. With only 100 days to go before Election Day, we're moving full speed ahead. On Friday, we went on air with our second ad of the year - a 60-second spot that features Southern Arizonans sharing how Martha has made a difference in their lives and showing that serving others is who she is. Monday is the last day to register to vote in the primary election. If you live in Pima County, and have not registered, find a registration form and more information at:  If you live in Cochise County, call the Cochise County Recorder at (520) 432-8354 or email at You can also find more information here:  Martha's op-ed on preserving retirement benefits - "Those of us outside Washington understand a very simple concept: Cutting benefits is the opposite of preserving benefits. In order to preserve Social Security and Medicare, we need to work together to find bipartisan solutions that keep our promises to seniors."   Bipartisan Reform Needed to Save Retirement Programs      A Day at the Border     Ad Watch: McSally releases second ad  With only 100 days to go, make sure you're staying up-to-date on all the latest news of our campaign by following Martha on Facebook and Twitter.
