·       MCRC Chairman A. J.  LaFaro: The Sept 25, 2014 Arizona Capitol Times article, GOP-Leader-Says-AZ-Sen-John-McCain-Trying-To-Ethnically-Cleanse-The-Party, is a result of the campaign finance complaints I filed with the Arizona Secretary of State's Elections Office, the Citizens Clean Elections Commission and Maricopa  County Elections against Arizona Grassroots Action (AGA).  It's also the result of Hank Stephenson's prowess as an investigative reporter. The article speaks for itself and my metaphor comment to the reporter about "ethnic cleansing" was referring to John McCain, Jane Lynch and the other left of center Republicans continued attempts to eliminate or purge the Arizona Republican Party of its mainstream members who support the Republican Party Platform and the Constitutions of the United States and Arizona. - A. J. LaFaro
Chairman, Maricopa County Republican Committee (MCRC).

John McCain, 78, Is Starting To Make Moves that he’s interested in a sixth term — but Tea Party types are saying not so fast, that if he runs he can expect some stiff competition from the limited government crowd.”   tea-party-sets-sights-on-john-mccain-were-sick-to-death-of-him  by Cheryl K. Chumley

·       Maricopa County Republican Chairman A J LaFaro Has Filed A Campaign Finance Complaint Against ‘Arizona Grassroots Action’ with the Arizona Citizens Clean Elections Commission, Arizona Secretary of State's Office and Maricopa County Elections Office.  Read details in the 9-22-14 Briefs at   Contact: A. ·       Former Sen Russell Pearce: Vote No On Prop. 480. Your property taxes will soar if this passes. If you like high property taxes, you will love what the Maricopa County Intigrated Health Care District wants you to vote for! They just gave their administrator a several hundred thousand dollar raise and others got big bumps. They are now proposing a $1.4 billion property tax increase -  the size of all Maricopa County School District’s secondary taxes combined. Home owners on fixed incomes will be at risk, with this tax increase along with the dozens of other overrides and special bonds on the November ballot.  Property taxes are going to go up in 2015 significantly, but if this one passes your property tax will shoot up much higher. This is one of the largest tax increases in Arizona history.  It will increase the cost of a $200,000 home $865 and hit a small business with $1,000,000 in taxable value with $7,800 in new taxes over the life of the bond, according to ATRA.  This tax is about “infrastructure envy” not about real need.  Because of state Medicaid Expansion and Obamacare these folks can go to a clinic or hospital of their choice and so the Maricopa County Hospital is experiencing diminishing demand.  In addition they are asking Maricopa County property owners to pay for a hospital that virtually serves the state as all of the other county hospitals have closed their doors.  They make it sound like it will close and the “Burn Center” one of the best in the nation will be shut down.  It has nothing to do with this outrageous property tax increase they want.

·       CD1 Candidate Andy Tobin Toured The Cholla Power Plant last Saturday and spoke to workers who are worried about the closure of the generator and concerned about the impact of further EPA regulations that would force more layoffs at this critical employer in Arizona’s First Congressional District.“Last week, we learned that due to EPA regulations, APS will be forced to shut down one of their generators at the Cholla Power Plant. This generating station provides good paying jobs for Arizonans while providing tax revenue for the surrounding area—but the Obama administration’s extreme ideology has taken precedence to good policy” Tobin said. Due to increased regulations from the EPA, APS will shut down one of their generators at the coal-fired, Cholla Generating Plant in Joseph City, Arizona. This comes after an announcement that the Navajo Generating Station—which receives coal from the Kayenta Mine and provides water for metro Phoenix and Tucson—will be forced to shut down one of their three generators due to EPA regulations. “The Obama administration’s war on coal continues to march on at the expense of hard-working Arizonans, who depend on these jobs to provide for their families. Ann Kirkpatrick’s silence on this announcement speaks louder than words and makes her complicit in these punitive actions,” said campaign manager Bill Cortese. “We need someone in Congress willing to stand up to their own party – unlike Ann Kirkpatrick who is more concerned about being a reliable ally for the Obama administration than she is for standing up for her district and the hard working people she was elected to represent.”

·       LD18 House Candidate Jill Norgaard: My campaign volunteers and I continue to walk LD18s  42 precincts in our efforts to personally meet as many voters as possible.  This is my favorite part of campaigning.  Though it is time consuming, it is a joy to meet neighbors and to make new friends. Why not join me for a walk?

o   Sat., Sept 27. 8:30 am, Desert Breeze Park, northern parking lot
660 N. Desert Breeze Blvd E., Chandler

o   Sat., Oct 4 - Specifics to be announced.
Sat., Oct 11 - Specifics to be announced.

o   Fri., Oct 17 – 6-8 pm, Voting and Boating at the home of Captain Ted and Laura. Light refreshments will be served.

Early ballots will be mailed out October 9.  Sincere thanks to Mark & Terry for hosting a Pizza & Politics event.  It was a very informative evening of lively exchange of ideas and fund raising. I now face the general election where three candidates are vying for two seats.  Campaigns are expensive.  I am working hard to get my message out, increase name recognition and earn voter trust. If you are willing to host an event for me, click like Jill on Facebook.  We will assist in the planning and organizing.  Events give me an opportunity to take my message to more voters. Join my team with some terrific people. Your help is sincerely appreciated.  I can't do this without the many volunteers and donors who remain committedto my candidacy. like Jill on Facebook

·       Attorney General Candidate Mark Brnovich is asking for volunteers who can make phone calls in his behalf. Early ballots will be mailed out soon, and we will need all hands on deck to help push Mark over the finish line. A poll showed this week that Mark was up on Felecia Rotellini by 3%, but we all know how quickly things can change in these campaigns. Starting the Monday after early ballots, we will be calling voters around the state on behalf of Mark, and we need your assistance.  See link with dates and times that we will be phone banking for Mark. Please take a look at the dates and add your names where you might be able to help make calls. The more volunteers per day of phone banking, the better off we will  be on November 4. phone volunteers  Please let me know if you have any questions. Thanks for everything!

·       CD2 Candidate Martha Mcsally: When I was in the U.S. Senate, it was my job to stand up for Arizonans - even against the federal government. Martha McSally is committed to the same principle -- if you hire her -- she will work for you in the Congress. Martha served in my Senate office as a Legislative Fellow, and I've seen first-hand her dedication to leading and making a difference. She will be a huge asset for Arizona in Congress, which is why I ask you to help Martha today. There is a big fundraising deadline coming up, and Martha’s opponent has almost half a million more than she does. She has 4 days before her final FEC Quarter Deadline. Will you please chip in $50, $25 or even $10 before Tuesday’s midnight deadline? This crucial deadline is the last chance before Election Day to show that you stand with Martha McSally. I’m a part of Team McSally – will you join me? Thank you. - Senator Jon Kyl

·       LD28 House Candidate Shawnna Bolick: Declaring that “Legislative District 28 deserves effective representation in the State Capitol,” Bolick criticized incumbent Rep. Eric Meyer for failure to have a single bill signed into law despite being in office for six years. “We need effective leadership. Zero bills passed in six years does not amount to effective leadership. I will work with my colleagues and across the aisle to get things done,” Bolick added.  Her three top priorities are education, economic growth, and sound fiscal policies. “Rep. Meyer represents families of all public school aged children in LD 28 who attend both district and charter schools.  Yet, his voting history proves he opposes a high quality education by voting against allowing charter schools to expand (HB 2099) and he doesn’t believe in performance-based reforms that would allow our public school children to be taught by the best and brightest teachers (HB 2227).  Meyer has done nothing to increase the portion of education spending that reaches the classroom, which is only 54 cents of every dollar, among the lowest in the nation.” Bolick continued, “As your state representative, I promise to put our school aged children above politics and ensure more money is allocated to classroom instruction and not diverted regardless of whether the school is a district or a charter school. I believe in a high quality education.  I support teachers with mastery of their subject area.  Our future depends on kids receiving the best classroom instruction and I will fight to ensure every kid regardless of their socioeconomic status or zip code has access to the best teachers.”    602-842-1912 .

·       Incumbent Congressman Matt Salmon: We're now less than 40 days away from Election Day, and I'm excited to announce that a new shipment of yard signs has just arrived hot off the press. Click here to have one delivered to you, or email Cesar at Many of you have also asked for bumper stickers - be sure to request those too so we can get them to you quickly. I'm honored to be running for re-election as your Congressman, and I continue to be humbled and thankful for all the support and encouragement.  I hope to see you on the campaign trail soon!

·       Gubernatorial Candidate Doug Ducey: It's been a packed week on the campaign trail. We kicked off the education leg of our Freedom and Opportunity tour with stops at schools across the Valley and by launching a new, statewide survey on education. On Monday, we kicked off our education tour in Phoenix at Yeshiva High School, the only all-boys orthodox Jewish high school in the state. Tuesday, we toured the East Valley Institute of Technology (EVIT), a public career and technical school offering more than 30 occupational training programs. On Wednesday, we toured Franklin Police and Fire High School, an excelling public high school that provides students with a head start to a career in public safety. Its graduation rate is 100 percent and 75 percent of last year's graduation class went on to college. Yesterday, we conducted a tele-townhall with Lindsay DeFrancisco, executive director of Teach for America. We discussed common sense education solutions that can be applied statewide and provide more opportunities to all Arizona students.  It's been a great week focusing on education, and I'd love for you to join us talking about this important issue.  Please take a minute to answer our brand new Freedom and Opportunity Survey and weigh in on your priorities for creating opportunities in education.

CD9 Candidate Wendy Rogers: Did you hear the big news yesterday? Attorney General Eric Holder finally resigned. I’ve consistently called for Eric Holder to be held accountable for his failures. He backed away from responsibility on the "Fast and Furious" scandal. He arrogantly condoned the IRS cover-up by refusing to pursue action against Lois Lerner. He has failed to work with local law enforcement to keep our border secure. And he has been a consistent opponent against our right to bear arms. He has consistently flouted the law. One left-wing liberal down. Kyrsten Sinema is next. Kyrsten Sinema has completely failed to lead. She doesn't know how to lead. She has never led. She has been clueless about what to do to fix the Phoenix VA Hospital and has offered no solutions to secure our border. She is empty-headed and unable to provide anything more than on-paper eyewash. We’re just four days away from the end-of-quarter fundraising deadline. Let's ensure Kyrsten Sinema is the next left-wing liberal to go into retirement.
Please consider a generous donation   Just like Eric Holder, Kyrsten Sinema has been a cheerleader for President Obama’s failed, liberal agenda. We must remove another one of President Obama’s most committed allies. I’m ready to serve. Are you ready to help? Four more days to send a strong message.
Chip in  to help us close the fundraising quarter with momentum and take another step toward sending Kyrsten Sinema into retirement with her friend Eric Holder.

·       LD10 Senate Candidate Mark Morrison: I was raised in a blue collar family and learned early in life the value of hard work.  I started working at age 12, worked throughout high school, and paid my way through college.  My twin brother and I were the first in our family to graduate from college.  Hard work and dedication to service are the principles that guide me. I bring a deep and varied combination of experiences in the military, the Executive and Legislative Branches of our government, and private industry that will enable me to hit the ground running at the State Capitol to improve the lives of people in our district, and Arizona. I’ve been going door-to-door the last few months introducing myself to voters with the help of dedicated volunteers and a few members of the College Republicans. The reception has been warm and people have responded positively to my message of educational excellence and boosting our local economy.  There are a lot of doors in LD10 however, and if you would like to help walk and distribute literature, please contact me
