·       Maria Shriver Asks Ann Romney About GOP's 'Gender Problem' In an interview with Ann Romney aired on Tuesday's NBC Today, special anchor Maria Shriver couldn't help getting in a dig at Republicans: "The Republican Party is viewed by so many women as having a gender problem, a women's problem. Do you believe that?" The question came amid a segment that was largely focused on the Romneys funding the creation of a new medical center to research multiple sclerosis – which Ann Romney suffers from – as well as other neurological diseases.

·       Gabby Needs Your Help. If you are considering contributing to CD3 candidate Gabby Saucedo-Mercer’s campaign –now is the time.  Gabby needs to send out some targeted campaign postcards, which I believe will put her over the top.  The problem is that despite running an extremely frugal campaign there has been ZERO financial help from the National Republican Party, all the attention is going to CD 1 and to CD 2.  AZ GOP has assisted with some in-kind contributions, but Gabby desperately needs cash!  Help Gabby beat the most liberal Congressman in the U.S., Raúl Grijalva. Send Gabby $14 for 2014 ($14 will help her reach 28 more voters by mail), or contribute more if you can.  Click to make a contribution. Together we will send Grijalva into retirement! Contact Andrew Costanzo at or call 480 677-0697 to volunteer.

·       Disgruntled CD3 Republican: At a time when our country needs as much conservative leadership, as possible, in order to move it in the right direction it truly amazes me, as well as countless others, that the GOP fails to support all their candidates wholeheartedly. There comes a time when one has to give up on "falling into line" and stand up against the accepted system in order to be heard and accomplish what needs to be done to bring our country back to its once greatness which has slipped away in recent years. Our true conservative candidate in CD3, Gabriela Saucedo Mercer, is an individual who believes in the letter of the law, as well as, conservative principles. She exemplifies what the country needs to turn about the rampant liberalism that pervades in our government. As a resident of CD3 (and I will speak for those aforementioned countless others) I find it disgraceful, as well as, discouraging how the Arizona Republican Party has neglected and forgotten about it constituency residing in that district. We all support Gabriela Saucedo Mercer in her run for the United States Congress as she truly reflects the values and principles of her Congressional District. We understand that we are outnumbered by Democrats in CD3, but, this is a winnable election. When we needed the Republican Party the most, in order to get one of their own and our candidate elected to office, they have turned their backs on us and failed to listen to the voice of the people in support of Gabriela Saucedo Mercer. Why would anyone not treat all of their candidates the same? When money was needed from the Republican Party to help finance Gabriela's campaign the Republican Party decided to put it elsewhere, where they believed (not us) it would be better spent and do the most good citing our district as not winnable. I beg to differ! We have worked our tails of in support of Gabriela Mercer. As a grassroots movement we have worked countless hours raising money and getting the word out in support of Gabriela, yet we were not met with the same enthusiasm by the Republican Party. No wonder voters become discouraged and finally disenfranchised from their respective parties. I find it a shame and disgraceful that the Republican Party has chosen not help Gabriela Saucedo Mercer and forgotten about its family of voters in CD3. Gabriela you have our full support. .  "GO GABY GO"!!!!!!!!! – PC Walt Steiner.  Steiner is Secretary of the Estrella Conservative Republican Club
