MCRC Briefs

·       Don’t Forget To Sign Your Mail In Ballots Envelope. Did you know that over 5,000 ballots in the primary weren't counted because they weren't signed and they arrived after the Primary.  It is suggested that you mail in your early ballots by Oct 30 so they are sure to be delivered to the Recorder’s office by Nov 4. Postmarks do not count.  If you don’t mail your ballot before Oct 30, take it to any polling place within your county.

·       All Mail-In Ballot Cities/Precincts: Voters in these areas should mail in their ballots in at least a week prior to the Nov 4 election to make sure their ballots are received in the County Recorder’s office prior to general election deadline.

o   Buckeye: Durango, Festival, Sundance West, Wyman

o   El Mirage: Dysart, El Mirage, Rancho Mirage, Soledad

o   Fountain Hills: Fountain Hills, Four Peaks, Golden Eagle, Palisades, Saguaro

o   Goodyear:  Desert Blossom, Desert Thunder, Desert Vista, Goodyear, Mobile, Palm Valley, Rio Paseo, Pebble Creek, Westar, Wildflower, Wigwam

o   Litchfield Park: Wigwam (in both Goodyear & Litchfield Park) Cheney, Doubletree, Kiva, Palo Cristi

o   Town of Paradise Valley

o   Queen Creek: Sanokai

o   Wickenburg: Wickenburg (those who reside within the city limits). The Wickenburg Community Center will be open for those living outside the Town limits.

The All Mail Cities/Towns are the same as they were for the Primary Election. Additionally, the Town of Carefree and City of Goodyear are holding an All Mail special election in November. The Recorder’s office will be mailing to voters in the All Mail Cities/Towns from the Primary even if they are not holding a General Election, according to Kristi Passarelli, Maricopa County Elections Dept

Please note that there are still polling locations for precincts that are split (where a portion of the precinct is within a mail ballot city/town and the other portion is not) For example: Wickenburg precinct – The people who live in the Town will get a ballot in the mail. The people who live outside the city boundaries (in Maricopa County) will vote at the community center. For voters to find their assigned polling location or replacement ballot location for all mail areas they need to use our locator:

·       Final Push To Get Out The Vote In CD 3.  This part of the orchestrated strategy is to simply make phone calls to Republicans in CD 3 who have not yet returned their early ballots. The bottom line is that CD3 candidate Gabby Saucedo Mercer wins if we can get enough Republicans in CD 3 to vote!  But that is not all; with a Gabby victory we should expect victories for the respective Republican State Senate and House Candidates in LD 4, LD 13, LD 19 and LD 29 and our efforts will also assist our State-wide candidates too.  Voters said that you want to get rid of the leftist incumbent Raul Grijalva, now is your chance to act! We have thousands of calls to make and Gabby needs your help. I promise you that it is really easy; you can secure the vote of 100 Republicans in just a few hours.  If 100 contacts if too many, then just ask for 50. For a sample script and a phone list contact Andrew Costanzo, or 480 677-0697.

·       Readers Have Asked when the Maricopa County Recorder’s office starts counting the early ballots.  Here is the answer from MCRC Chairman A. J. LaFaro: “No early ballots are counted until after the Logic & Accuracy Test of the optical scanning equipment. All early ballots are stored in MCTEC's secure vault that is guarded 24/7 by MCSO Deputies and 24/7 security video surveillance cameras. The Logic & Accuracy Test for the optical scanning equipment is on 10/28 with early ballot processing  beginning on 10/29.”

·       Attorney General Candidate Mark Brnovich: We're in the final homestretch and we're not stopping -- every vote counts! We just launced a new television ad today and we need to stay on the air in Pima county through Election Day. We are $5,000 short of our goal. If we hit our goal, we can stay up on tv and fight the negative ads my opponent and her liberal supporters are airing. It's unfortunate, but we won't win if we don't fight back. Will you please donate today? In the final week of the campaign, over $500,000 will be spent on negative tv ads statewide attacking me and distorting my record. Outright lies. We won't be able to match them dollar-for-dollar, but we can get our positive message out. At the end of the day, Arizona voters want an Attorney General who has served as a real prosecutor and someone who will fight to keep their families and our communities safe. I'm sending you the link so you can be one of the first to see our new ad. Will you please donate today? If we raise $5,000 by Sunday we can run our new commercial in Pima county through Election Day. You can donate online here. Thank you fall or your continued support.

·       Gubernatorial Candidate Doug Ducey: Arizonans have a very clear choice when it comes to who will be their next governor.  I've built a company right here in Arizona and helped create thousands of jobs, but that's never been my opponent's focus.  Instead, he's been a special interest lobbyist.  We only have 10 days left in the election and I need your help to keep our latest ad on the airwaves. contribute to help us share our message with voters across the state at this critical time? Thanks for your support!

·       CD2 Candidate Martha McSally: With only 10 days to go, we're working around the clock to make sure we reach as many voters as possible before Election Day. But our reach is limited. As you know, a good ground game is all about numbers, and that's where you come in. Today's action is all about engaging new volunteers. Day 10: Forward this email to 10 people and ask them to commit to help Martha before the election. We have a great opportunity on Monday for anyone looking to get involved in the campaign. Chairman of the National Republican Congressional Committee Greg Walden and Majority Whip Steve Scalise will join Martha at McSally HQs to talk about Republicans' efforts to grow our majority in the House and take our country in a better direction. We'll also be making calls to remind voters to return their ballots for Martha and would love to have you join us. Monday Calling w/ Martha between 4:30 – 9pm, Mon., Oct 27 at,  McSally Headquarters, 4400 E. Broadway Blvd. Suite 510, Tucson, AZ. RSVP at or call (520) 488-4610.  Thank you so much for all your hard work and we hope to see you on Monday! - Matt Brown,  Political Director

·       CD9 Candidate Wendy Rogers: I need your help right here in my own Arizona congressional district AZ-9! This race is now breaking for Lt Col (ret) Wendy Rogers who was one of the first 100 women pilots in the Air Force. We need her in Congress! If elected, Lt Col Rogers will replace a very left-leaning Democrat who has no experience with what it takes to secure our nation. I have known Wendy Rogers for many years -- no one will work harder than she to fight for us. Wendy Rogers is a trailblazer, a leader who is ready to serve her country again. Wendy knows first-hand about the Phoenix VA because it's in her district. Who is better suited to HELP fix this crisis? As a fellow veteran, I trust in Wendy Rogers to do just that. Now, more than ever, we need to increase the number of military veterans in the United States Congress. Please help me send Wendy Rogers to Washington DC. Wendy's TV ads have reverberated across our nation because she has boldly called out the incumbent for voting irresponsibly to put us at risk. Please CLICK HERE to keep Lt Col Rogers's TV ads on air through Election Day. They're compelling because they're true. If able, please consider donating the individual max of $2,600, which will provide the funds necessary to keep these ads running. Thank you. – Sen John McCain

·       CD2 Candidate Martha McSally: We’re 10 days out. We have volunteers and staff all over the district working to get out the vote for Martha. But Ron Barber's liberal allies aren't going to give up this seat without a fight. They just committed an additional $500,000 on TV ads trying to beat Martha. With a little over 240 hours left until the Election, I’ve been closely tracking our finances - and we have to fight back. This race is going to come down to the wire, and we need to fully finance our Victory Fund to push Martha over the top! Can you chip in today?   TIME LEFT: 240 hours  FUNDED: We’re behind, Give $50 The end is near, and you’ve been with us all this way. Help us finish strong. Chip in today! Thanks for everything.
