·       A Veteran's Day Message From Debbie Lee, Gold Star Mother  My son Marc Alan Lee was laid to rest on Aug 2nd, 2006.  I also remember him today as I do every day and the sacrifice he made.

And a big thank you to Navajo County Chairman Dara Vanesian for her excellent work in helping to put State Senator Sylvia Allen over the top!  Great job Dara. We could not have done it without you! As many of you know, Sylvia Allen entered this race very late due to the untimely passing of State Senator Chester Crandell. A lot of great folks did a great job in pulling together for Sylvia. Sylvia did a superb job and ran an excellent race.  And a great big ‘attaboy’ to our new Superintendent of Public instruction Diane Douglas, who ran a great race and prevailed even though an incredible amount of money was used against her. The Arizona Chamber of Commerce endorsed Diane's Democrat opponent!! Diane proved that a candidate standing up for her values can win elections.
