·       Arizona-RNC-Rep Bruce Ash's-Resignation-Sought-After-Calling-For-Alleged Attack-Against-Tucson Radio-Host  Pima County Republicans seek Bruce Ash’s resignation following radio show comments. Former CD2 candidate Chuck Wooten is leading the charge against Ash.

·       CD2 Activist Gabby Saucedo-Mercer: Alright the elections are over, some of our candidates won some did not, but all in all the Republicans, both conservative and moderate had an amazing swept all over the nation but that does not stop our Arizona National Committeeman from being out lot line and literally calling for violence against James T. Harris! The story has gone national with all the links necessary to read more about the story and listen to the Emil Franzi show where Bruce Ash called for violence against James T. Harris and a USAF Colonel, Ash is a frequent guest and many times hosts Emil’s show.  /joannemoudy: the-heart-of-the-rnc--the-radical-neanderthal-core  My question is, what is wrong with the Republican party and what are We the People and precinct committeeman are going to do to hold our highest Arizona elected committeeman accountable?

·       Political Consultant Constantin Querard: We are not the party of whiners to where we would take seriously that kind of language and wring our hands about "that thug Bruce Ash calling for violence!" whilst we rend our garments...Puh-leeze...Bruce Ash isn't a thug and no one in their right mind would suggest that he's actually calling for real physical violence. Some folks love to pit us against ourselves and they LOVE the establishment vs grassroots language, except that Bruce has been with the grassroots more than most.  I've watched him working for the party for the better part of 10 years and we need a lot more like him. That doesn't mean he'll get things right all the time, or use the right language all the time.  None of us do, even those of us in the "language" business. But we won't be dragged into a fake scrum between a radio talk show host and someone who apparently isn't a fan...!

·       Congressman Martha McSally Elect: As the last remaining ballots are counted today, a ‘Thank You’ celebration was held this evening with McSally’s campaign crew to recognize all the hard work over the past few months and beyond. This is a chance for Martha to say "Thank You" to everyone who has put in countless time and resources to help us run a strong campaign. We could not do any of it without your help, so tonight is all about you.

·       Recall Movement Started Against Diane-Douglas-Before She's Even Sworn In   ARS:19-202. Recall petition; limitations; subsequent petition

A. A recall petition shall not be circulated against any officer until he has held office for six months, except that a petition may be filed against a member of the legislature at any time after five days from the beginning of the first session after his election. The commencement of a subsequent term in the same office does not renew the six month period delaying the circulation of a recall petition.

B. After one recall petition and election, no further recall petition shall be filed against the same officer during the term for which he was elected unless the petitioners signing the petition first, at the time of application for the subsequent recall petition, pay into the public treasury from which such election expenses were paid all expenses of the preceding election.

C. Signatures obtained on recall petitions by a committee or any of its officers, agents, employees or members before the filing of the committee's statement of organization are void and shall not be counted in determining the legal sufficiency of the petition

·       CD2 Martha McSally Elect: "All ballots are now counted and the voters have made their choice. We are so grateful for the outpouring of support we've seen from across Southern Arizona. My heartfelt thanks goes out to all the voters and everyone who knocked doors, stuffed envelopes, made calls, hosted events, donated to our campaign and put in the countless hours to make this victory possible. After nearly three years, some $20M in ads, and two campaigns, it's time to come together. We are united in our love for Southern Arizona - for the people and places that make this unique community our home. It's time to move from campaigning to governing and working together to bring more opportunity here and move Southern Arizona forward. I thank Congressman Barber for being willing to stand up and serve as he has. No doubt, he has gained a lot of experience serving this community and I intend to seek his input and assistance to best represent Southern Arizonans and ensure constituent services are kept at their highest level. While we still have a recount to go, we expect similar results and will provide the necessary oversight to ensure accurate results. I want to thank the voters again for their support and trust in me and look forward to rolling up my sleeves and getting to work from day one to serve Southern Arizonans in Congress."
