Momentum is on our side, but we must be prepared for what comes next. We must be ready to oversee every vote being recounted to ensure the process is fair and accurate. ·       Chairman of the Gila County Republican Committee Chair Gary Morris  put out a great November Chairman’s Report, noting that not only did Gila County, both North and South, top all other Arizona counties in voter turnout (over 50%) in spite of negative press from both the Payson and Flagstaff media.  Morris, a retired Phx  smoke-eater (fireman) points out that Gila County AGAIN topped all other counties in voter turnout in the General Election with just over 50% of registered voters either submitting early ballots or going to Polls to vote. gila-county-republicans-rock-by-gary-morris

·       Gary Morris, Gila County Republican Chairman, points out that Republicans won all the races in Gila County. Even state-wide Republican candidates did better in Gila County than they did in other counties. Considering that Gila County was a Democrat majority in voter registration for 100 years until we crossed that threshold in 2012. “We are becoming a Republican political powerhouse at both the County and State levels.”  Sen elect Sylvia Allen was elected to replace the late LD6 Sen Chester Crandell. LD6 Rep Brenda Barton and Bob Thorpe were re-elected despite negative newspaper coverage in both the Flagstaff and Payson news media. Barton won by a very comfortable 7 percentage points.In District 8, which extends into the south end of Gila County, both the Republican House incumbents Frank Pratt and T.J. ·       Grassroots Action Will Announce A Major Grassroots Offensive against Obama's  amnesty efforts on Monday -- but leading to this announcement they  are asking voters to sign the national petition to "Stop Obama's Executive Amnesty".
