·       The Latest Voter Registration Figures have been released and according to Secretary of State Ken Bennett, Arizona has 3,235,963 active registered voters and 566,823 inactive registered voters.  A total registration increase of 31,115.  By casting a ballot in the election, an inactive registered voter will automatically update their address information and return to active status.  Of the state's 3.2 million active voters, 1,114,713 are Republicans and 936,417 are Democrats.  The number of voters registered without a party preference or with independent parties is 1,157,811, an increase of 5,367.  Libertarians make up a little less than one percent of the state’s total registration with 26,589, and the Americans Elect Party has enrolled 433 voters since joining the stat's other recognized political parties in 2011.  The latest voter registration figures compiled by county, congressional district and legislative district are available on the Secretary of State’s website, www.azsos.gov or by calling 1-877-THE-VOTE.

·       This Morning AZGOP Chairman Robert Graham criticized supporters of Democrat candidates who were caught this morning in what could be illegally placing campaign materials in at least two polling places in Maricopa County.  State law prohibits electioneering within 75 feet of a polling place, and the activity involves posting campaign materials in the bathrooms used by voters at the polling places. The polling places involved are at the Humphrey School on 132 Street and Chandler Blvd. in Chandler, and the Danyell Precinct (#162).

·       The Maricopa County Republican Executive Guidance Committee (MCRC EGC) will meet at 7 pm, Thur., Nov 6 in the AZGOP Headquarters, 3501 North 24th St., Phx.  Sign-ins at 6 pm.  All possible guests will be required to sign-in. Only registered Republicans with a valid photo ID will be admitted.  No news media, audio and/or video recording allowed. The EGC will discuss and take action on the 11 precinct committeemen (PCs) who have reportedly endorsed Non-Republican candidates -- in violation of current MCRC EGC Bylaws.  The 11 PCs cited for endorsing Non-Republicans will be allowed to defend their actions. The EGC can remove their voting privileges as a PC for the rest of their two year terms.

·       "The American People Have Put Their Trust In The Republican Party, sending a GOP majority to the U.S. Senate. I want to congratulate all our candidates tonight," said RNC Chairman Reince Priebus. "Our party's principles and message resonated with voters across the country. This was a rejection of President Obama's failed polices and Harry Reid's dysfunctional Senate. "By investing early across this country, the RNC was able to provide critical support to our candidates and campaigns. The RNC has been involved in communities across this country, building relationships and listening to voters. We built an unprecedented data and digital operation, allowing us to reach voters and equip a winning ground game. I want to thank all of our supporters, volunteers, and donors who made this possible. Republicans have been given the opportunity to lead the country in a better direction, and the Republican House and Senate are ready to listen to the American people. We hope President Obama will too. It's time to get to work on creating jobs, expanding American energy development, pursuing real healthcare reform, reducing spending, reining in the federal government, and keeping America safe."

·       Congressman Matt Salmon Upon His Reelection to represent the people of Arizona's Fifth District: "I am truly humbled by the trust and faith the voters of the Fifth District have placed in me once again. Running for public office is not easy, and I applaud my Democrat opponent, James Woods, for having the courage to do so. Tonight's election results make one thing exceedingly clear: Arizonans want their elected officials to get government out of the way and support policies that will let the private sector thrive and create jobs. With word already coming in that Republicans may once again take control of the Senate, the days of Harry Reid obstructing the will of the American people and abusing his position to shield the President from making hard decisions are coming to an end. No more will the American people be silenced by an entrenched political insider from Searchlight who has made his home in the halls of Congress for the past 31 years. It is an honor to serve my constituents in Washington, and I look forward to working with my colleagues to send the President legislation that will truly reign in government, enable job creation, and raise the standard of living for all Arizonans and all Americans." Contact (480) 779-0872 or info@salmonforcongress.com.

·       Former LD Chairman Ray Spitzer: I heard candidate Goddard blaming dark money for his defeat.  I've read op-ed writer Laurie Roberts whining about all the dark money helping Republicans.  Neither one of them, or anyone else for that matter, seems to want to talk about all the outside money (dark money) that comes in from Democrat groups, like George Soros, moveon.org, and many others.  They do like to bash the Koch brothers for contributing money to Republican candidaes.  The Democrats spent over a half billion dollars trying to effect the outcomes of races across the country, as did Republicans.  I don't think any laws were broken, were they?  What I'd like to see is an accounting from every candidate of all money contributed to them, by whom, or spent on their behalf, by whom.  That transparency would get rid of all this Darth Vader Dark Money silliness. It would seem that when Democrats lose, it's because of dark money.  When Democrats win, they can only say, "Dark money, what dark money?" - Ray Spitzer
