·       MCRC Chairman A J LaFaro: I want to take this opportunity to thank all the hard working PCs and Republican volunteers for their tireless GOTV efforts.  To say everyone's hard work paid off would be an understatement. The victories here in Arizona and around the U.S. have given the Republican Party the opportunity to begin fixing the countless problems the Obama Administration  and the progressive socialists have created for America.  Hopefully it's not too late. I requested an Early Ballot Report this evening from Maricopa County Elections.  WOW!  Check out the Percent Returned for the Republicans and these numbers aren't the final numbers.  Maricopa County Elections estimates they will be finished counting all of their ballots early next week.  Please keep in mind we have some close races that may be affected. I'm so proud to be a member of the Maricopa County Republican Party. With my deepest appreciation to everyone, - A. J. LaFaro, Chairman, Maricopa County Republican Committee (MCRC)

·       The Maricopa County Republican Executive Guidance Committee (MCRC EGC) will meet at 7 pm, Thur., Nov 6 in the AZGOP Headquarters, 3501 North 24th St., Phx.  Sign-ins at 6 pm.  All possible guests will be required to sign-in. Only registered Republicans with a valid photo ID will be admitted.  No news media, audio and/or video recording allowed. The EGC will discuss and take action on the 11 precinct committeemen (PCs) who have reportedly endorsed Non-Republican candidates -- in violation of current MCRC EGC Bylaws.  The 11 PCs cited for endorsing Non-Republicans will be allowed to defend their actions. The EGC can remove their voting privileges as a PC for the rest of their two year terms.

·       The Sun City GOP Victory Office Is NOT Closing Nov 15, according to AZGOP Chairman Robert Graham.  Contrary to rumors that have circulated the past couple of weeks, the GOP Victory Office is moving to a different suite in that same center, he said this afternoon.  Graham said the landlord needs the current suite for another tennant.  He praised the landlord for making the current suite available at a reasonable price for the past several months.  Graham said he gave his word that as long as he is Chairman of the AZGOP the Sun City aka West Valley office will remain open.  Both Graham and AZGOP State Treasurer Timothy Lee said the National Republican Committee (NRC) paid the rent and salary of a GOP staff person for several of the 12 Victory offices throughout Arizona during the 2014 political cycle – including the Sun City office.

o   Graham said it is his intent to keep the Sun City office open because it is vital to the entire West Valley. Current plans for the Victory offices in Flagstaff  and Tucson, funded by the NRC, will also remain open. The smaller satellite Victory offices -  funded by the AZGOP - will probably be phased out by January 2015, according to Graham.

·       As To Questions Regarding What Become Of The $5,000 that the West Valley Republican volunteers gave to the AZGOP when it opened the current site – AZGOP Treasurer Timothy Lee said it was applied toward the rent for the Victory Office.  Graham said he also purchased some office equipment for the Sun City site from those funds.

o   The volunteers at the former Maricopa County Republicans West Valley office at 99th Ave/Bell Road had raised $6,000 to open their own office when the MCRC was forced to close due to lack of rental funds. At that point in time, Graham rejected Maricopa County Republican Chairman A. J. LaFaro’s request for financial help from the AZGOP to pay the rent on the five year old West Valley Republican office.

o    A few months later, Graham negotiated an agreement with the office volunteers, in which he agreed to open the Victory Office at the 99th Street/Bell Road location. Office manager Pete Lee verified reports that the volunteers used about $1,000 of the $6,000 for the move and to purchase a sign for the new office – which left $5,000 that was given to AZGOP.

o   Timothy Lee said that anyone wishing to track the expenditures should call him and he will provide information on where/how to paper trail the funding within the AZGOP financial reports.

o   Graham said the Sun City office is a model volunteer operation that was used as an example for other Victory Offices to follow during the height of the primary/general election campaigns.

·       LD28 Rep Kate BrophyMcGee: Thank you for your vote of confidence returning me to the Arizona House.  It is an honor to represent you as we tackle challenges, both ongoing and new, for Arizona.  Please keep talking to me with your questions, concerns and milestones.  I will work hard in my district and throughout Arizona on your behalf. Thank you! Kate Housekeeping note:  I so appreciate everyone’s patience with political signs! There are hundreds of Brophy McGee signs throughout the district and I’d like to gather those up as quickly as possible.  I have campaign workers and volunteers hustling to clear all of them out.  Please let me know the location of any signs that aren’t picked up in the next few days.   KateMcGee.com

·       CD candidate Martha McSally: I am humbled by the outpouring of support we've seen from voters across Southern Arizona. Voters have shown a strong desire for better representation in Southern Arizona and a new direction for our country. We've said it before and we'll say it again: our supporters are the backbone of our campaign and we could not do it without you. Thank you for all the effort you put in to help us run a strong campaign and get us to this point. Right now, there are still many ballots to be counted and the race is too close to be called. It's critical that every last vote is counted and that all Arizonans have their voices heard. In the days ahead, we will keep you updated as more votes are counted. Again, thank you for all your support for our campaign.

·       Today, U.S. Congressman Paul A. Gosar released the following statement after the Department of Justice (DOJ) was forced by U.S. District Court Judge Amy Berman Jackson to turn over 64,280 pages of documents relating to Operation Fast and Furious that were previously withheld from Congress: “The self-proclaimed ‘most transparent administration in history’ continues to make a mockery of itself with this court ordered release of documents related to the ill-conceived Operation Fast & Furious. I fundamentally reject the ridiculous statements by DOJ claiming that it wishes to cooperate with the House Oversight and Government Committee in our search for the truth to the cover-up of murdered U.S. Border Patrol agent Brian Terry. Nothing could be farther from the truth. This is a blatant attempt to hide a massive, sloppy release of information from the American people on Election Day. While I am pleased to see Judge Berman Jackson finally take the necessary action to force DOJ to release these documents, I am not satisfied. There are still countless documents being stonewalled by DOJ despite endless requests from Congress for access to this evidence. There must be real accountability for Eric Holder and his unlawful actions. “Despite Holder’s announcement to step down as Attorney General sometime in the future, he needs to go now. I echo Chairman Issa’s (CA-49) charge that the House will not yield until we have all of the evidence requested from the administration.”

·       Governor Elect Doug Ducey: In February, I launched this campaign pledging to give this race everything I had in me and work harder than everyone else.  We made it through a tough primary and last night, the months of hard work paid off. Your confidence helped me across the finish line and I wouldn’t be here without you. Now, the real work begins.  Throughout the campaign I pledged to be governor of all Arizonans.  I truly mean it.  I look forward to working to ensure every single citizen of this state has the opportunity to succeed. If you missed my victory speech last night, you can read it, here and watch it, here. Thank you for putting your faith in me and trusting me to lead the great state of Arizona. It will be an honor to serve you as governor.

·       Congressman David Schweikert: Fellow Arizonans, Joyce and I were out early this morning in the truck putting up THANK YOU signs.  Why? Because victory this election was the direct result of the hard work, dedication, and commitment to freedom that you invested every single day. Make no mistake.  Our fix on the horizon is clear. We are taking back our country. In the days and weeks ahead, we are going to have to roll up our sleeves and tackle issues with greater focus than ever before.  But, Barack Obama's agenda for America is in the rear view mirror.  Together we will restore fidelity to the Constitution and unleash a new era of economic freedom.
