·       Supt Of Public Instruction Elect Diane Douglas: The ballots have been counted and we won the election by more than 16,000 votes!  Thank you for everything you did to make our victory possible. We were out spent 680 to 1 in outside money and still won!  Winning in spite of the vicious attack ads is nothing less than a mandate from the voters - a mandate to end Common Core in Arizona. ICYMI:  Please share this video of my interview with Ted Simons with your friends.  The extended interview format of the Horizon program allowed me to answer my critics and set the record straight. Please help me get out the truth by sharing this video through email and on social media. I look forward to serving Arizona as your next Superintendent of Public Instruction. Thank you again for your support and for all of your prayers.

Gosar,  Congressman Steve Daines and Senator Ted Cruz along with other industry leaders who recognize the significant burden an internet sales tax would have on Americans will conduct a press conference at 11:30 am, Tues., Nov 18 in Washington, DC. An internet sales tax, such as the Marketplace Fairness Act, would hurt small business, complicate states sales taxes and ultimately force everyday Americans to pay more in taxes. Gosar, along with the other participants of tomorrow's press conference, continues to urge House leadership not to allow a controversial internet sales tax to be attached to any other bill during the lame duck Congress. Participants: Daines, Cruz, Gosar, Free Congress Foundation, WE R HERE Coalition, National Taxpayers Union, Heritage Action for America,  Americans for Tax Reform and R Street Institute

·       LD22 Will Be Electing New Officers This Evening.  Candidates are:

o   Incumbent Chairman Eric Morgan:

o   First Vice Chair Glenn Haynes:  I have been serving as a precinct committeeperson over the past few years and as 2nd Vice Chairman, a position I gained by election this past summer when a vacancy occurred. Now the 1st Vice Chair position is open and I am again asking for your support.I am also currently the Chair of the LD-22 Fund Raising Committee and our committee has been quite successful over the past year and a half. We were actually able to spend money to support the Republican effort to turn out the voters! If you chose to elect me I plan to help plan and prepare for the crucial 2016 election. We have learned a good deal during this past campaign and it is important we use that experience to expand on our team’s effort, and success. Most importantly, it is vital we keep our team together and focused on 2016! I thank you for your support.

o   Second Vice Chair Rae Chornenky: A Phoenix native, she has practiced law in Arizona for 30 years.  Having just returned from living in Washington, D.C. for her two year term as president of the National Federation of Republican Women, Rae was president of the Arizona Federation of Republican Women, a member of the Arizona Republican Party State Executive Committee, and served as our Legislative District Bylaws Chairman and Parliamentarian in the past.  She attends RNC meetings and leadership conferences and has spoken before State Republican groups across the country, appearing in TV, radio, and print media to publicize the Republican message locally, nationally, and internationally.

o   Secretary candidate Van DiCarlo, retired Glendale, IL Chief of Police and former President of the Police Pension Board. After 32 years of service, he moved his family to Glendale. DiCarlo built DiCarlo Associates, LLC - providing criminal defense investigations through a contract with a governmental agency.  He has two degrees of higher education - AAS Criminal Justice, BAS General, Studies (Concentration in Criminal Justice). He served as President of The Arizona Association of Licensed Private Investigators (AALPI) for three years, is the Chairman and Vice President of Business Operations for Firecrackers-AZ - a girls’ fast pitch softball club with 13 teams in Arizona and is a member of the International Association of Chiefs of Police. He and his wife Rita have been married for 31 years. He has been a Glendale, AZ resident for 12 years.

o   Incumbent Treasurer: Kay Heep.

Nominations will be accepted from the floor.

·       The Mexican Wolf/Livestock Coexistence Council issued its first Payments for Wolf Presence to 26 Arizona and New Mexico livestock operators who qualified for its coexistence plan's pilot year.  The Coexistence Council developed the Mexican Wolf/Livestock Coexistence Plan that presents a new paradigm for addressing wolf-livestock conflicts – one of the most significant impediments to Mexican wolf recovery.  Payments for presence of Mexican wolves, the key component of the plan, address the negative financial impacts on livestock producers that accompany Mexican wolf recovery. The Coexistence Plan (announced in March 2014), is comprised of three core strategies: payments for wolf presence, funding for conflict avoidance measures, and continued funding for depredation compensation. See: Coexistence Council website: http://www.coexistencecouncil.org/  or Mexican Wolf Recovery Program http://www.fws.gov/southwest/es/mexicanwolf/RWLC.cfm

The ebooks available through Reading Arizona may be borrowed within the state simultaneously by multiple users. ·       CD2 Elect Martha McSally: At the moment, Martha McSally is up 161 votes and has momentum, but now Democrats are contesting the validity of the election and fighting against the choice of Arizonans. This race is headed straight for a recount - which is bad news. We've got legal teams ready to fight for every last vote - but we don't have the resources to fund their efforts. Nancy Pelosi and Martha McSally's opponent, Ron Barber, will stop at nothing to win this race. We have to fully fund our recount efforts immediately to stop any potential illegal activity that could jeopardize the outcome of this race. If we don't hit our goal of $200,000 for our recount fund, we could lose this race. Don't stand idly by and let Democrats steal this victory from us - stand with us and fight back now.  or Please chip in
