·       The Former West Valley Republican ‘Victory’ Office will reopen at 9 am, Mon., Dec 8 at its new location - 10050 W Bell Road, Suite 50, Sun City AZ 85351. Group discussion meetings will resume at 9:30 am, Tues., Dec 9, according to manager Peter Lee. Office hours will be from 9 am-5 pm, Mon – Fri, and from 9 am-1 pm on Saturday.  Office phone 623-977-4532.

 

·       Attention LD Chairmen.  The deadline to submit memorials for the January 2015 Maricopa County Republican Committee’s Statutory Meeting is Sat, Dec 12. The MCRC wants to recognize and remember fellow Precinct Committeeman who passed away this past year. Please keep the memorials to 250 words and include a photo. ·       The Maricopa County Republican Committee (MCRC) Statutory Meeting will be held Sat., Jan 10, 2015 at the Grace Community Church, 1200 East Southern Ave., Tempe, Arizona  85282.

o   Registration begins at 7:30 am.

o   Meeting Call to Order at 9 am. 

o   Arizona State Teenage Republicans (TARS) will be accepting donations in exchange for refreshments.

o   Congressman David Schweikert will provide hot Coffee, Chocolate, or Tea.

o   Attendees to sign in at the Credentials/Tally area.

o   VIPs should check in at the VIP Check-In or notify First Vice Chairman April Riggins upon arrival.

o   Candidate Banners/Signs inside/outside the Sanctuary: Congressional banners - $200, Statewide Candidates - $100, all others $50.  Up to three campaign signs may be placed outside the sanctuary for $40.  Drop off the banner [4’ X 8” max size] and mail your check payable to MCRC to Lori Urban.  First come; first serve.  Banners must be hung by Grace Community staff – placement location is assigned on a request basis only.  (Banners MUST be delivered to AZ GOP Headquarters by Noon, Thurs, Jan 8, 2015).

o   Candidate / Vendor Tables:  First come / first confirmed basis.  Table location selection upon payment of $75, including one 6-foot table with 2 chairs.  Candidates/Vendors may have a sign at/on/behind your table as possible.

o   Candidate Flyers & Promotional Pieces: Pages may be placed in the PC Packets - $75 per flyer (Max size: 8 ½ x 11, stuffing will be done by

o   MCRC volunteers.)  Flyers MUST be submitted to Chairman A J LaFaro for approval by 12/15/14, and 3,000 flyers must be delivered to AZGOP Headquarters by 12/29/14.  NO flyers will be allowed in the Worship Center.

·       Congressman David Schweikert is hosting a Christmas celebration open houses from 5-7 pm., Thur., Dec 18. Participants are asked to bring an unwrapped toy to benefit the Scottsdale Healthcare Pediartic Unit at Shea. 

 

·       Cochise, Greenlee, Graham and Pima County LD14 PCs have passed a resolution limiting PCS to carrying “no more than for proxies,” according to Chairman Tom Crosby. This prevents individual PCs from “stacking the deck” by carrying numerous proxy.

 

·       Reports Continue To Surface Across Maricopa County of PCs carrying numerous proxies to the LD Organizational meetings for PCs who have never been seen at LD meetings. Political insiders report these faceless PCs names are now appearing on the State Committeeman rosters?  Coincidence or well-orchestrated?

·       The Arizona National Guard’s First Community Open House and Soldiers and Airmen muster in a mass military formation on the field will be held at Sun Devil Stadium in Tempe at 11 am, Sun., Dec 7 (Pearl Harbor Day).  Open to the public, the event will honor the service and sacrifice of Arizona’s military families during the last 13 years of conflict and will recognize the state’s veteran and military support community. ·       The Annual Prescott J.S. Acker Night” starts at 5:30 pm, Fri., Dec 12 in Downtown Prescott. YavGop will once again be participating in this event!  We will again be hosting the very popular, "Rusty Pistols Cowboy Band."  Volunteers are needed to bring in cookies and a sign up sheet is available at the headquarters.  We also need volunteers for Greeters from 5:30 - 8:30 p.m. in 30 minute increments.  The 5:30 - 6:00 slot has already been taken.  Call (928) 776-4500.
