·       Gov Doug Ducey: "I'm deeply saddened to learn that Navajo Nation Police Officer Alex Yazzie was shot and killed in the line of duty Thursday night. Like all of our brave men and women who wear the badge, Officer Yazzie risked his life daily to protect our communities and our citizens. His death is a stark and sobering reminder that, for law enforcement, no call is ever routine. I ask that all Arizonans join me in praying for his family, the Navajo Nation community, and all of our peace officers who perform a dangerous but important job to keep us safe. Please also keep in your thoughts and prayers Officers Herbert Frazier and James Hale, who were injured in the exchange. We wish them a full and speedy recovery. In honor of Officer Yazzie, I have directed that flags at all state buildings be lowered tomorrow, Sat, March 21, 2015, from sunrise until sunset. I will order that flags again be lowered on the day of his interment, for which services are pending."

·       As Conservative Vultures In Arizona Begin Circling over what they hope is the carcass of Sen. John McCain’s political career, McCain is hustling to find religion in order to blur the distinction between his moderate track record and the conservative resumes of a flock of potential 2016 primary challengers…”  - Ben Bullard  / Personal Liberty Digest

·       Right Now Conservative Candidates Are Preparing To Challenge U.S. Senator John McCain for the GOP nomination. Meanwhile, Ruling Class Republican cronies have already spent big money attacking Tea Party congressmen in TV ads. Like it or not, Campaign 2016 is here and the Tea Party movement needs to get into the fight!”    - Jenny Beth Martin, Chairman, Tea Party Patriots Citizens Fund.

Resolution author Joe Hobbs, a former LD19 Senate candidate and a Republican Party of Maricopa County Executive Guidance Committee (EGC) member-at-large, said “Momentum is growing. This censure should be considered by every Legislative District (LD) this month in preparation to deliver to Congress in mid-April.”  Hobbs referred to the Internet seizure/Network Neutrality as “brutality. ·       The 48th, Show 9  airs Saturday evenings at 6 pm on AZTV.  Hosts former GOP Executive Director Kurt Davis and former Dem Spokesman Frank Camacho chat with local politicians on various issues.   Back in the 80s Davis was the ‘youngest’ Exec Director the AZGOP to ever serve the GOP.  Yeah, the same guy who is currently an Arizona Game/Fish Commissioner.  He’s a guy with many interested… politically savvy and a fisherman/hunter at heart but his role as ‘Grandpa’ is a top priority these days. Gez, Briefs remembers when a much younger Davis became a ‘dad.’  How time flies.

·       Democrat-Senator-Implies-GOP-Racist; John-McCain-Explodes-On-Senate-Floor   McCain was infuriated by Sen Dick Durbin’s. On Thursday McCain took to the Senate floor and delivered a fiery rebuke to Durbin and other Democrats who had tried to make the Loretta Lynch appointment issue a racial one. What is beneath the decorum of the United States Senate, I would say to the senator from Illinois is for him to come to that floor and use that imagery and suggest racist tactics are being employed to delay Ms. Lynch's confirmation vote. Such inflammatory rhetoric has no place in this body and serves no purpose other than to further divide us…”  Full story at McCain-Explodes

·       Congresswoman Martha McSally yesterday led her first hearing as chair of the Emergency Preparedness, Response, and Communications Subcommittee on the threat of chemical attacks. Officials from the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and local municipalities testified before the subcommittee about terrorist groups’ use of chemical weapons overseas and the potential of an attack on our homeland. “We find ourselves at a pivotal time in our fight against terrorists around the world. ISIS is better resourced, more brutal, and more organized than any terrorist group to date,” said McSally during her opening statement. “We must ensure we work to prevent any attacks on U.S. soil, but we must also be prepared should one occur.” click HERE.

·       Republican National Committee (RNC) Chairman Reince Priebus has announced that the RNC raised $7.6 million in February. The RNC ended February with $6.3 million cash on hand. “We’re proud to announce such a strong fundraising report for February,” said Chairman Priebus. “As always, we thank all of our supporters and donors for investing in the important work that only the RNC can do. That work includes everything from a year-round ground game to our top-notch data operation and our community-based minority voter engagement. While Republicans will have a real presidential primary and a robust exchange of ideas, Democrats are preparing to coronate Hillary Clinton. So it’s also up to the RNC to hold Clinton accountable now for her long record of self-interested secrecy and blatant hypocrisy. We have to show America that she’s a flawed candidate—though, to be fair, she’s been a doing a pretty good job of that herself lately."
Fast facts:

ü  Total raised February 2015: $7.6 million

ü  Total cash on hand: $6.3 million

ü  Percentage of donations $200 and under: 98%

ü  Average donation: $70

ü  Debt: $3.2 million
