·       Republicans Of Maricopa County Chairman Tyler Bowyer’s Message To Executive Guidance Committee: As you serve as a member of the Republican Party of Maricopa County’s Executive Guidance Committee, we are sending this letter to inform you of the vacancy in the office of County Member-at-Large. Members-at-Large may be elected regardless of their location within the county. This vacancy has occurred suddenly due to the tragic passing of Mike Richardson, a stalwart and beloved member of our county committee who accepted the role of assisting in Supervisorial District 1 assigned to Legislative Districts 12,17, 18 and 26.Per our County bylaws, this notice is to also inform you of the election to fill this vacancy at the next EGC meeting on June 3, 2015. Please forward this information to the Precinct Committeemen in your district and spheres of influence as expeditiously as possible. Those who wish to be placed on a ballot, as time permits, should contact me directly. Nominations will also be accepted from the floor. ·       Supt of Public Instruction Diane Douglas will launch a statewide tour next week to hear residents opinions and concerns on all K-12 education issues. The “We Are Listening” tour will make 14 visits through the end of June. Public comments can also be submitted via email at HearingEveryVoice@azed.gov, online at www.azed.gov/HearingEveryVoice, or via the @azedschools Twitter account using #HearingEveryVoice. ·       The Mesa Republican Women will meet at 11:30 am, Thurs., June 4 to hear Mesa Mayor John Giles at a luncheon at 1900 E.
