·       Tom Morrissey, Immediate Past Chairman AZ GOP - I read in the Yellow Sheet a few days ago that I had no interest in raising money from the 'establishment' and their donors when I was AZGOP Chairman.  The article compared my fundraising to the current chairman.  Those numbers, in my humble opinion are presented in an effort to show the wisdom of "playing ball" with the establishment as opposed to my policy of 'no quid pro quo'.  It is a fact that the 'establishment' did not donate during my term and it is also a fact that no deals were made in smoke filled backrooms, either.  Yet, somehow we managed to be the best performing Republican state party in the country in the November 2012 elections.  How did we manage to do that?  It was because WE, the grassroots, came together and pulled off what we were told by the establishment "could not be done".  Well it was done and it proved that we hold the power, and they do not know better than we the people.  Please keep that in mind as they try to shove their moderate candidates down our collective throats. (By the way, WE raised $3.8 million together.)
