·         Secretary of State Michele Reagan will draw the ballot order for Arizona's Presidential Preference Election (PPE) at 10 am, Tues., Dec 15 in the House Chamber 3rd floor of the state museum at the state capitol.  The order of names will be determined by the random selection of jumbled ping pong balls dispensed from an Arizona Lottery machine with candidate’s names printed on them.
The PPE is when  registered voters of participating, recognized political parties cast their vote for who they prefer the Arizona delegates cast their vote for at their party's national convention. The 2016 PPE will be held on March 22, 2016, with a registration deadline of February 22, 2016. For a current listing of candidates, please visit http://bit.ly/1MxJf7k.

·         Glenn Beck  talks refugee rescue efforts, demagoguery and Trump with Megyn Kelly: A group of Muslim refugees was caught attempting to enter a sanctuary country by posing as Christians, Glenn told Megyn Kelly during Fox News’ The Kelly File last night, expressing disdain for the poor vetting process for refugees “being jammed down everybody’s throat in the West.” He shared news of the first plane of rescued Iraqi Christians having just landed in a safe-haven country and also called for a return to the Constitution rather than the progressive demagoguery of Donald Trump. ·         The Arizona Game and Fish Department is offering several tips to the many hunters who utilize boats, kayaks and other watercraft to battle through wind, cold, dust, rain or snow to arrive at the “special” hunting spot. To ensure a safe trip, hunters are encouraged to remember these seven following tips:
ü  Leave a float plan with family and friends, detailing where you’re going and when you plan to return.
ü  Don’t overload the vessel. Make sure it can safely transport you, your gear and maybe your dog, if it’s coming along.
ü  Distribute weight evenly inside your vessel.
ü  Use care while loading and while moving around. Most boats used during hunting are flat-bottomed and tend to tip over quite easily.
ü  Always wear a life jacket. Consider placing one on your dog as well, as cold water can cause their muscles to cramp while in the water.
ü  Transport firearms safely with the action opened, unloaded and cased whenever possible.
ü  Cold-water immersion can be deadly so dress appropriately and if you fall overboard, climb back into or on top of the boat. If you cannot, stay near the vessel, use decoys, oars or anything floating nearby to help stay afloat.

·         Nationwide Last Year, 37 Hunter-Involved Watercraft Accidents resulted in 13 deaths and 22 injuries, according to U.S. Coast Guard figures. Drowning was the leading cause of death in 78 percent of the 610 total recreational boating fatalities in 2014 nationwide. Of these incidents, 84 percent of those who drowned were not wearing life jackets.

·         The Mohave County Board of Supervisors approved the adoption of the Mohave County Zoning Ordinance update in November. Under Arizona Revised Statue, the county is required to periodically review and draft amendments to the county’s zoning ordinance.  According to Supervisor Buster Johnson, the process is quite time consuming.  “The Planning and Zoning Commission formed a subcommittee in 2013 consisting of four individuals who were tasked with going through the entire 250 page document in order to bring it up to date with current land use and development standards,” Johnson said.

·         Lawbreaking Obama Misled Congress And America On Bergdahl: The report is in, and the news should come as no surprise. • Does John McCain Care More About Dead Boxers than Kids It's taken him at least 10 years on a long road of compromising to get a posthumous pardon for heavy weight champion Jack Johnson. Finally, thanks to the S1177 “Every Student Succeeds Act,” McCain got his Christmas wish. He slipped it in on pages 914-918, under "SEC. 9206. POSTHUMOUS PARDON.'' President Obama signed S1177 on Dec. 10. This "pardon" for a dead boxer has nothing to do with K-12 Education, or with what Senator McCain's constituents in Arizona want for kids. It has everything to do with what John McCain has wanted for a very long time.
