Maricopa County Republican Resolutions Committee Chairman Eric Morgan has informed the 123 co-sponsors of the “Anybody but McCain” Resolution that the resolution has been rejected by the Resolution Committee for inclusion in the call letter for the Jan 16, 2016 MCRC mandatory meeting. See 11-30-15-Briefs  The Resolution Committee’s action forces the co-sponsors to now jump through the time-consuming and expensive hoop of bringing 2,000 copies of the proposed resolution (one for each attendee) to the Jan 16, per the bylaws - if they try to bring the resolution forth from the floor for a vote the day of the Mandatory meeting.  Morgan did not reveal which committee members rejected the resolution. The Resolution Committee members are:
·         Chairman:  Eric Morgan
·         Dino Eliades
·         George Cuprak
·         Russell Pearce
·         Nickie Kelley
·         Michael Loverine

Maricopa County Republican Committee (MCRC) Second Vice Chair Aaron Borders stirred up quite a flap with the Christmas message he sent to his MCRC fellow officers a few days ago. Sandwiched between a lovely Christmas greeting and a cute photo of his three handsome sons and beautiful little blond haired daughter, recipients found an “Open Letter to the MCRC Board Members and Serving Maricopa County Republicans PC’s” in which Border goes into a 1700 word rant shredding MCRC Tyler Bowyer. Borders rehashed the Nov 4 Executive Guidance Committee (EGC) meeting in which Borders’ Lack Of Confidence Resolution against Bowyer was defeated by one vote. Borders expressed his frustration at being labeled “a McCain guy” as he adamantly denied ever being a John McCain supporter while he declared his support for McCain senate 2016 race challenger LD6 Senator Dr Kelli Ward. The open letter lists other complaints, concerns and frustrations directed at Bowyer.

MCRC Sgt-At-Arms Barbara Medal to Vice Chairman Aaron Borders:  In regards to your Christmas letter; I have never seen such a letter that starts off with Merry Christmas that one would expect to be filled with the joy of the season of love and brotherhood but quickly degenerates into your tirade of vitriolic garbage. Christmas letters usually extend Christmas wishes of joy and peace and good cheer! You call yourself a Christian? Charity, good cheer and kindness seems to be lacking in your character.
To all the PCs that received your idiotic tirade I hope that they, like me, would ask you to step down as an officer and allow a grownup to serve the county Party rather than a childish and argumentative slacker. I find your behavior destructive and not indicative of a person capable of promoting goodwill but instead creating only discord and disharmony. I personally have had enough of your ranting and disruptive nonsense. You have no idea what being a Christian is all about and even less of an idea of what it means to be an effective officer and leader that behaves in a professional manner. Yours in Christ and remember He is the reason for the season.

Sanctuary Cities, Fully Funded.  All Mideast immigration programs, fully funded.  All these things that have been exploited by terrorists.  Sanctuary cities, fully funded.  All refugees, fully funded.  The release of criminal aliens, fully funded. Everything! The Democrat leftist wet dream has just been paid for.” – Rush Limbaugh (12/17/15)

Dem Senate Candidate Ann Kirkpatrick isn’t cutting Sen. John McCain no slack.  Her Saturday morning promo starts out with a quote from McCain,” I expect this to be the toughest campaign that I have ever had.”  Followed with “John McCain is really feeling the heat. He knows he’s in trouble. He knows his backwards policies got him here.”

LD20 2nd VC Wes Harris has announced his candidacy for one of the Maricopa County Republican Committee’s Member-At-Large openings. The election will be held during the Jan. 16, 2016 mandatory meeting. Contact: Harris at 602-942-9281, 602-432-2871 (cell) or

Maricopa County Republican Chairman Tyler Bowyer is attending a West Palm Beach Activist Retreat attending intensive conservative training and networking sessions with Turning Point USA.

LD18 PC Peggy McClain: Update to the Tempe Union High School/City of Tempe $1/year lease deal for Benedict Park. The TUHSD Board has decided to table a decision for now while they do some further research into the previous contract and value of the land.  They also stated they want this decision to be transparent.

LD23 Rep Jay Lawrence received a Champion of the Taxpayer award at the recent Taxpayers for Prosperity dinner.

Former LD13 Chairman Robert Branch: What the heck?? Paul Ryan, AZ’s Martha McSally, and the majority of the Republican Congress have betrayed us again! People like me (and you), elected Precinct Committeeman, local Republican leaders, fundraisers, and “Boots on the ground” volunteers get these “Congressman and Senators” elected, only to find that they lie to us!
Ryan, betrayed us, and every Republican Congressman that voted for that $1.1 trillion dollar Omnibus bill betrayed us.
How many times during the 2012 and 2014 elections did you hear the Republican candidate say, “If you send me to Washington, I will defend the (XZY) program!” From Obama Care to Common Core, they said they would defund it. Let’s look at what the Republicans including McSally, funded.
§  Sanctuary Cities, even after the killing of Kathryn Steinle.
§  All of Obama’s Refugee Programs, paving the way for 10,000 – 130,000 Syrian refugees: Even as many of us, including the Republican presidential candidates are saying no more Syrian refugees, Ryan’s bill fully funds it.
§  All of Obama’s Mideast Immigration Programs even those that have been used to import terrorists like the Visa programs.
§  All of Obama’s illegal alien settlements in the US.
§  Obama’s Executive action to grant amnesty to “Dreamers and illegal aliens”!
§  Increase spending: All of those Republicans said they would decrease the size of government and government spending.
What the bill DOES NOT FUND: The completion of the 700 mile (American/Mexico border) wall!
Why in the world would the Republican congress sell us out?
Why would Rep. Martha McSally, vote against the rest of Arizona’s Republican delegation (Rep. Franks, Gosar, Salmon and Schweikert; Sen McCain and Flake) and make America weaker? McSally had the TEA Party backing, yet voted to increase spending and form bigger government? This is a huge betrayal from McSally and the majority of Republicans in Congress!  We honored McSally for being the first female combat pilot, but this time, she bombed us!

LD30 PC Gary Cox: Regarding  the ‘controversy’ in LD30 as to who is the ‘official’ leadership group, it’s quite clear Chairman (Bud) Zomok  is the Acting Chairman and will continue in that role unless and/or until he chooses to call a special election.  Anna Stowe is NOT the official Chair and has no authority as such.  LD 30 Secretary Sharon Altenhoff called the special election without any consultation whatsoever with the LD 30 EC. Much like Obama when he decides to act on his own authority. She acted completely on her own and outside the defined bylaws.  Relative to EC resignations, those were discussed by various EC Members but not acted upon.  Ms. Altenhoff cannot assume on herown and without any written resignations that those ‘supposed’ resignations were in fact made, which they were not.
The rogue group of PC’s involved in the attempted takeover of LD 30 apparently don’t understand that the various District Republican Committees operate under the State AZGOP Charter and as such, Chairman Graham has the ultimate authority relative to recognition of ‘official’ district committees and he is NOT going to recognize the rogues who have violated multiple bylaws in their takeover attempt.  I’m not speaking for Chairman Zomok but I will assume he will continue LD 30 business as usual.  See 12-18-15-briefs

LD20 Second Vice Chair Wes Harris:  In the 2012 General know the one... where Obama was returned to the White House to continue his quest to destroy this nation.  You probably did not know is that 60 million evangelicals did not vote in that election and 30 million of them could not because they were not even registered.   I worked with a group out of D.C. called "Champion the Vote" who desperately tried to get these 30 million to register to no apparent avail.
What we need is a Revival to bring these Christians "to Jesus"!  We need the ministers to don their "Black Robes" and start telling their 'flock' the real story and their true responsibilities.  Let’s start beating the drum to get the vote out.  While we are about voting for a new Republican President (any one will be better than the alternative...Hillary) we might just remember all those so called 'conservative' Republicans that we voted into the House and Senate in the last two elections who have all betrayed us.  Can you think of any who did not betray us?
As John Adams noted: "Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people.  It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other."  A moral and religious people elect only moral and religious people to represent them and they have a 'moral' duty to both vet and vote for that candidate.  Failure for the 'Religious and far to Silent Majority' to rise up next year and vote these scoundrels out of office will spell the death of this nation.  Think about it.  The loss of Freedom is only a generation away.  We are talking about 'our' generation here!  Contact  Harris at 602-942-9281, 602-432-2871 (cell) or

“There Is No Republican Party!  You know, we don't even need a Republican Party if they're gonna do this.  You know, just elect Democrats, disband the Republican Party, and let the Democrats run it, because that's what's happening anyway.” – Rush Limbaugh (12/17/15)

Phoenix City Councilman Sal DiCiccio: Please help the brave men and women who fought for our country, who now find themselves in need. This holiday season brings much joy and happiness for so many families. Unfortunately, among us there are those that have served our country protecting our families, but are now in need of our help. For those of us that would like to donate to a very worthy cause, I encourage you to check out the Human Services Campus and Lodestar Day Resource Center. The two organizations have partnered together to serve homeless veterans and help them get housing. We have so much to be thankful for and there are so many others in our community who need our help. Anything that you can do to help would go a long way and mean so much to those in need. Congrats to Mike McQuaid & Jerry Hirsch on a very successful event raising money for the poor and homeless at the I Am Home Breakfast benefiting homeless veterans. These two individuals have committed their lives to helping those who have difficulty helping themselves. Lodestar Day Resource Center, 1125 W Jackson St.,  Phoenix, AZ 85007
