CD9 Delegates: Adam Driggs, Jane Lynch, Lisa Atkins, Anne Lynch, Leonore Driggs, Alberto Gutier, Alberto Gutier III, Robert Lynch, Christine Jones, Scott Celley, Tom Haney, Mary Ell Ruffner, Spencer Kamps, Lori Galvin, Micky Gutier, Frank Rivera, Jeffrey Fleetham, Lynn Londen, Cory Mishkin, Roger Marce, Matt Morales, Danny Seiden and Fabiola Reyes.

LD21 Sen Debbie Lesko: “I want to thank the AZ GOP and Senate President Biggs for selecting me as the Senate's "Legislator of the Year" at the AZ GOP's Salute to the Legislature event last week. I ran for office to make a difference. I am blessed to have the job that I love and to work with such wonderful people. I am honored and grateful that I have been recognized for my work to expand conservative causes. Thank you to all of you that continue to work to support conservative principles and causes. I couldn't do this without you.”

Fountain Hills Republican Club 2nd Vice President Leona Johnston: “Boe James was named the Fountain Hills Republican Club's "Republican of the Year" at its annual fundraising breakfast, Saturday, March 19. James, in addition to his current elected office as secretary of the club, he is the "go to guy" for duties as varied as making sure the coffee is made for the monthly meetings, setting up the club's booths for the town's art fairs in November and February, and promoting the club at local, county and state levels. It has been largely through his efforts that the club has received the Republican Club of the Year Award from the AZ GOP Chairman, twice during his presidency in 2011-2012 and again in 2016. He has been an elected precinct committeeman every year since moving to Arizona after his retirement as Captain in the U.S. Navy. A very involved member of Legislative District 23; he has been a poll worker since 2009, an inspector of polling at Fort McDowell and a post-election auditor for the 2014 election. He and his wife Marie spend many hours working on behalf of GOP candidates at every level.”

Arizona Federation Of Republican Women (AzFRW) President Loraine Pellegrino: “Frosty - I know I have told you before, but it must be repeated.  Your Briefs are fantastic.  Thank you dear Patriot!”

AzCDL President Dave Kopp: “We must bring the power back to the people. Guns are inanimate objects. Guns can’t drive a car. Guns can’t vote in elections. Guns can’t raise a family. Guns can’t kill people. Guns don’t have rights. The term “gun rights” is incorrect. I understand the use of the phrase, but it’s implying that guns have rights. What we’re talking about here is human rights. Natural rights. Fundamental rights. Join us today in our fight protect our fundamental rights from gun-grabbers. Bloomberg is targeting Arizona for gun owner registration, and will spend millions to fund a “Universal” Background Check measure in 2016. We must defend our human, fundamental rights. Thank you for your unbroken confidence in AzCDL.”

LD13 PC Scott Powelson: “I now believe Ted Cruz to be a stealth Establishment Candidate. How can Cruz - a first term senator from Texas - have the infrastructure in place to ‘steal delegates’ before and after the local elections? How is it that in Texas - where Republican Politicians have been run by the Establishment - a guy like Cruz is an outsider? The Establishment has pivoted to actively supporting Cruz to try to keep the Tea Party people from abandoning him. There is no way Cruz could afford the infrastructure the Establishment is providing to Cruz and Kasich to defeat Trump. The Establishment owned media has backed off most opposition to Cruz. The Bush ties Cruz had in the past and that his wife has to this day are mostly overlooked by voters who have been convinced that Cruz is an outsider. He would never have been a senator from Texas without ties to the Establishment. Texas has been ground zero for the new Establishment schemes to join Mexico, Canada and the USA in the SPP which is currently dormant thanks to the outcry of the people over the NAFTA highways being put through Texas. I started out supporting Cruz and Trump but now believe we have ‘been had by the Establishment’ when it comes to Cruz, especially when he says we can't deport 12 million illegal aliens. It is time for the USA to think about our own citizens first - before weaken ourselves to the point we can't recover. What the Cruz team is doing is only possible with the help of the old guard Establishment insiders help. The same operatives who locked out Ron Paul's delegates and ushered in McCain and Romney against Obama are apparently behind Cruz.”

The Arizona Women’s Hall Of Fame Living Legacy Induction Ceremony & Reception, honoring Rose Mofford and Mae Sue Talley is scheduled between 3-5 pm, May 5 at the Arizona Historical Society Museum, 1300 N. College Ave, Tempe, AZ. Up until 2015, nominees had to be deceased to be considered for induction. Now, the Arizona Women’s Hall of Fame will continue to induct two living women under the category “Living Legacies”. RSVP - Contact: Melanie Sturgeon (602) 926-3720  Mofford served as Arizona’s first female Secretary of State and our first female Governor, thus opening the door for other Arizona women to successfully seek and win these offices.  Rose spent 51 years of her life working in state government and in a 1988 commencement speech at South Mountain College she said of her career, “...I’ve been fortunate to have worked with 12 [governors] and with hundreds of state legislators and thousands of city, county and state officials and I have enjoyed every day of it.”  She was acclaimed for bringing stability and dignity back to government after the impeachment of Governor Evan Mecham.  She is a champion for children, the elderly, the homeless and the disadvantaged. Talley, a true Renaissance woman, is a business woman, philanthropist, diplomat and rancher. Co-founder of Talley Industries, a privately held and family owned company that manufactures a wide range of proprietary and specialized products for defense, industrial and commercial markets, she thrives on solving problems. Her business expertise and innovative approaches are sought by organizations, educational institutions and charities. Throughout her life she has founded, chaired, advised or served on more than 30 non-profit boards, on US Presidential commissions and councils and as a delegate to United Nations conferences.

Arizona Attorney General Mark Bronovich’s office has provided Pinal County with a written legal opinion confirming Chief Deputy Sheriff Steve Henry is allowed to run for elected office while remaining in his current “at-will” position at the sheriff’s office. This position is also supported by a federal law known as “The Hatch Act”. Federal, State and County laws support his right to seek office, as do Pinal County policies and procedures -- as long as employees are not campaigning while on County time. This issue is specifically addressed in the UHatch Act Modernization Act of 2012U. Because the position Henry currently holds is not federally funded, the Hatch Act allows him to run for an elected office while serving as Chief Deputy. The update to the Hatch Act was passed by congress and signed into law by President Obama in January of 2013. Since 2013, everyone operates under the rule that only those employees whose salaries are entirely federally funded are prohibited from being a candidate for partisan public office, [5 USC 1502 (a)(3)]. Chief Henry’s salary is not funded by federal dollars, so the revised Hatch Act rules allow him to run for public office while in his current position

Ariz Man Challenges Primary Results, Alleging Misconduct On Election Day 2004, John Brakey was Democratic Cluster Captain for four precincts in Arizona Congressional District 7, which had 80% non-Republican, predominately Hispanic voter registration, yet would be recorded as having voted 42% for Bush. Throughout Election Day, John witnessed suspicious behavior by poll workers at three of his four precincts. An hour after the polls had closed, he caught poll workers at one of these stations in the act of altering the poll books. Also see Dem behind the lawsuit
