Happy Father’s Day
Zack Taylor, Chairman National Association of Former Border Patrol Officers: Every American needs to read and understand Islamophobia Kills. And let's not forget, the real threat was and continues to be the overt acts of the U.S. Government in compromising our Immigration Laws that planted the seedlings in this country that perpetrated these acts before any of these enumerated events took place. It is called cause and effect. The text book case of the Boston Bombers was the only valid example of this we needed to see to fully understand the problem and the misinformation and disinformation spread about that situation is also an example of what Mr. Greenfield is outlining and defining. Immigration Laws Matter because their primary purpose is to protect National Security and Public Safety. No Immigration Law Enforcement yields no National Security and no Public Safety. How many times must this be demonstrated before the political class and media are forced to acknowledge it by the American people? Contact: nafbpo.org

Correction: A word was lost in Brian Reilly’s 6-18-16 commentary. The last sentence should have read: “Republicans should be serioulys thinking about a winning strategy before they cast their primary votes for sheriff in August” instead of "Should be seriously thinking about a winning strategy before they cast their primary votes for sheriff in August."

Brian Reilly, Former LD22 PC: A reply to Tom Morrissey’s June 18, 2016, Briefs commentary: When are we going to see your mystery candidate, Sheriff Arpaio, attend a candidates forum or a one on one debate with Dan Saban and Marsha Hill? I’ve attended both the Arrowhead Republican Women Candidates Forum and the Sun City West Candidates Forum, and Arpaio was a no show, both times. The excuse given was that Arpaio is dealing with too many court related issues. Really? When is Arpaio going to submit a commentary to Briefs about his agenda for his seventh term? And please, when is Joe going to tell us why he ran as a Democrat in 1983 for the Phoenix City Council when the great Ronald Reagan was our Republican president? Didn’t Arpaio agree with President Reagan? And how about explaining, why Arpaio said that he was only going to run for one term as Maricopa County Sheriff in 1992, and then broke his promise, now six times, by running for reelection? With an estimated $240 million in fines and legal fees over the past 24 years and the meter still running on the total cost of Melendres v. Arpaio, the question for you is, how can you continue to support America’s most expensive sheriff? If the final race for Maricopa County Sheriff is between Arpaio and Penzone, I predict that Penzone will soundly defeat Arpaio in 2016. The taxpayers of Maricopa County can no longer afford to reelect Joe Arpaio. I’ve now heard Dan Saban speak at three events. I’m impressed with his vision for the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office. What is Sheriff Joe’s vision, in his own words?
Former AZGOP Chairman Tom Morrissey: The Unbelievable Is Happening - Do you like scary stories? If you do, this one should scare you silly, especially when you realize who and what we have in the White House and what the ultimate result of that could be. I say this not out of concern for anything other than our country. The political Establishment Elites are appeasers on this, on our behalf and it's time we take the power for them to do so, away from them .Click Paul Weston from 12Tribe Films on Vimeo and watch the short video and if you feel moved by it please help us to make it go viral by passing it on to everyone you know. They may thank you for doing it, someday.
Wickenburg PC John Powelson: This is something the legislature should address. 16-illegals-sue-arizona-rancher There is no reason our ranches, farms or other business interests in Arizona should have to go into court to defend themselves against trespassers just because they are coming across the border from Mexico illegally. I would recommend that the Sheriff in each county deputize the ranchers to arrest trespassers. The Sheriff would then hand them over to BP or ICE or DHS and no suit should occur against the property owner. This kind of stuff has gone on way to long already.
Dave Hollenback: After all the chicanery and ruses the Party used at our State Convention some of these people were on all three ballots of the second vote – Denny Barney, Mark Bronvich, John Shadegg, Michelle Reagan, Jeff DeWitt, Zuhdi Jasser and Frank Riggs. -- and they do this? delegates-resign-in-opposition-to-trump
“…Nine of the 58 Arizona delegates to the July 18-21 GOP convention in Cleveland have resigned, including some of Arizona’s top elected officials. Maricopa County Supervisor Denny Barney, Attorney General Mark Brnovich, state Treasurer Jeff DeWit and Secretary of State Michele Reagan have all stepped aside, as has former California Congressman Frank Riggs, former Arizona Congressman John Shadegg, Yuma Republican Paul Marchant and Phyllis Ritter, a delegate elected from the 1st Congressional District. Zuhdi Jasser, a doctor and Muslim reform advocate, resigned after learning that he’d be bumped up from an alternate to a voting delegate…” Read more: http://azcapitoltimes.com/news/2016/06/17/delegates-resign-in-opposition-to-trump/
The Town Crier Jim Ely: Does anyone want to know the type of people that we vote for office, or delegates, here in Arizona? Here is an example. First, when an individual votes during an election, in this nation they are free to vote for any candidate they chose. In turn, if one is running for an elected position, and if one wins that vote from the constituents, then they are morally bound to represent their constituents. In this case, there were a number of candidates in the running to be a delegate at the Republican National Convention. Everyone who wanted to be a delegate to the convention knew that TRUMP won the vote in Arizona for POTUS and Arizona is a ‘winner take all state’. Therefore, they knew going to the convention they would be obligated to vote for Trump. So, if they were anti-Trump why in the hell did they want to be a delegate? Now we see some chosen to be a delegate to the national convention doesn’t give a damn about representing the will of WE THE PEOPLE and chose to bow out of their obligation. We appreciate their honesty in admitting that they don’t make good representatives. How many other anti-Trump delegates are we sending to the national convention just hopeing that there will be a second vote? How many Republicans have we elected to office who don’t vote with the party and yet the party leaderships says nothing. Any wonder what the Independent registration keeps growing? See Delegates-Resign-In-Opposition-To-Trump A party leadership that seems to have little regard for WE THE PEOPLE! And a party of state committeemen full of apathy and says nothing in executive committee.
Tom Jenney – AFP AZ Director: A recent poll was released by our friends at the Arizona Free Enterprise Club showing that voters overwhelmingly oppose taxpayer money going to politicians. There is also a dramatically negative response to the hypocrisy of the so-called 'Clean Elections' initiative. They refuse to disclose their donors which is a direct violation of the act that they are trying to pass! See key-findings-of-voter-attitudes-regarding-clean-elections-initiative Pledge to DECLINE TO SIGN and fight against taxpayer money going to politicians.
