Congressman Paul Gosar has received the American Conservation Union (ACU) inaugural “Conservative in the Spotlight” award – a distinction awarded to an elected official who acts boldly to defend conservative principles. Gosar, who received the 2015 ACU Score of 96%, has been a thorn in the side of the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and is an all-around government watchdog on important conservative issues. “Congressman Gosar fights relentlessly against the unlawful EPA and for limiting the growth of government,” said ACU Chairman Matt Schlapp. “We are proud of Congressman Gosar’s leadership and how he identifies misconduct, pushes back against it, and defends Americans from government overreach.” Spotlight-On Rep-Paul-Gosar

More Rumblings From 1700 W Washington (aka legislature). It seems some Capitol insiders are concerned at the prospects of having seatmates from one legislative district attempt to lead both the house and senate next session. LD17 Sen Steve Yarborough has reportedly clinched the Senate Presidency while his seatmate Javen Mesnard is reaching for the Speaker of the House position. However, there appears to be concern among seasoned legislators that Mesnard doesn’t have the experience to stand up to more mature lawmakers in the Senate and Gov’s tower during important budget negotiations. (Conservatives seem to want LD13 Rep Darin Mitchell as the next House Speaker.) Some recall during the last session that Mesnard voted in favor (at Yarborough request) of the Grand Canyon University Bill that would have, in effective, given the university a huge property tax break. However, it caught the attention of the Fee Enterprise Club and conservative House members who opposed that bill.
LD 24 will meet at 6:30 pm., Thur, July 21 at AZGOP Headquarters, 3501 N. 24th St, Phoenix to hear Arizona Corporation Commission candidates Al Melvin and Rick Gray and LD28 House candidate Maria Syms. Contact: Chairman Timothy Lee email@example.com (602) 518-5860 (Text/Cell)
Arizona Citizens Defense League (AzCDL) update: Your Rights Are Under Attack! It is important that you contact your U. S. Representative and demand they oppose all the “gun control” legislation that is being introduced in the wake of the Orlando killings. In the immediate aftermath of this tragedy, five legislative proposals were filed in the U. S. Senate calling for more restrictions on your right to keep and bear arms. The proposals involved using secret government lists to prevent firearm purchases. Four were defeated and the fifth has been tabled – for now. Speaker of the House Paul Ryan, caving to bullying by the Democrat minority, promised to allow a package of “gun control” bills, wrapped in the mantle of “anti-terrorism” measures, to be heard in the House this week. Contact your Representative and tell them to oppose any bill that limits or threatens your access to firearms. Anti-rights groups are dancing in the blood of the Orlando victims and are having their supporters contact Congress to disarm you. The Obama Administration is pushing for the destruction of the Second Amendment and the Democrats are rushing to introduce bills to disarm YOU in the name of Homeland Security. A letter has been prepared for you to send to your Representatives demanding they oppose any new “gun control” legislation. It does not matter where you live, your email will go to your U. S. Representative based on your address. You may send the letter as is or personalize it with your own comments. Click here to send your letter to your Representative. This is not limited to Arizona. Please forward this to every freedom loving Patriot on your contact lists.
Activist Elaine Gangluff: “If people are unwilling to support the presumptive nominee, they shouldn't run for Delegate!” AZGOP Chair Robert Graham Will Oust Delegates From RNC Convention. HOORAY for Robert Graham has the cojones to oust Rogue Delegates from convention who won't vote for nominee.
Yavapai County GOP Activist Frances Emma Barwood: The 'Republican Hierarchy' is treating Donald Trump like he has leprosy while Trump has been saying what all rational Americans have been thinking! We are truly disappointed in them. We are particularly upset with Mitt Romney, Paul Ryan, Mitch McConnell, Ted Cruz and the other 'insiders' of the Republican Party who consistently insult Trump - and have said they will not vote for him. That is a vote for Hillary. If nothing changes, there are over a thousand of us, so far, in Yavapai County alone who will publicly leave the Republican Party after this Presidential election and start a new party called the Patriot Party. It will be a very simple concept. The Patriot Party will be solely based on the US Constitution, Federalist Papers, Bill of Rights and the Declaration of Independence. We will have a clause in it to be able to excommunicate (throw out) those who do not follow these principles of our forefathers. It will be very public and to the point. The 'Establishment' or 'Old Guard' of the Republican Party has made it very clear that they do not represent or care about the majority of the voters who overwhelmingly support Trump. Donald Trump says what most of us have been thinking. The 'Republican Hierarchy', by their actions, are destroying the party better than the liberals could do. Anyone refusing to vote for Donald Trump is actually voting for Hillary. Are they afraid their 'insider' deals will be shut down? Their profiting from 'paid' lobbyists who get what they want by contributing to their campaigns might stop? Shame on them. Their actions are showing their true nature. We are not leaving the Republican Party, THEY have left us! All the candidates promised to support whomever was the nominee. It is also obvious that they don't give a damn about who the majority of people want.
FBI Director James Comey said the Justice Department is that no charges be filed against Hillary Clinton for her use of a private email server when she Secretary of State. Read More »
Republican National Committee (RNC) Chairman Reince Priebus on the FBI’s findings from its criminal investigation of Hillary Clinton’s secret email server: “The FBI’s findings are a glaring indictment of Hillary Clinton’s complete lack of judgment, honesty, and preparedness to be our next commander-in-chief, and they confirm what we’ve long known: Hillary Clinton has spent the last 16 months looking into cameras deliberately lying to the American people. We now know Clinton failed to turn over thousands of work-related records she certified were in the possession of the State Department, that more than one hundred emails contained material that was classified at the time they were sent or received, and that her server was less secure than Gmail and was likely hacked by hostile actors. This is grossly negligent conduct on the part of Hillary Clinton and her aides, but as the Obama Administration has repeatedly shown throughout this process, they were never going to prosecute Clinton’s criminal behavior because they are counting on her to deliver their failed agenda a third term. Between the Attorney General’s private meeting with Bill Clinton last week, to President Obama’s active support for Hillary Clinton’s candidacy, the American people will rightly be left second guessing whether justice was really served.”
Arizona Project Chairman Ron Ludders: Hillary’s Reckless and Irresponsible - I'm mad as HECK. Here's the findings of the FBI on the Hillary illegal email server. Let us review:
* 113 emails were classified at the time they were sent (Makes me sleep well at night)
* Thousands of work emails were deleted (Difficult to get Freedom of Information data)
* No official emails were ‘intentionally’ deleted (Let a GRAND JURY decide)
* There were likely more work-related emails that will never be recovered (Delete Forever)
* It's ‘possible’ she was hacked (Ever hear of Guccifer, Snowden, Putin and his boys)
* Clinton used more than one server and multiple mobile devices (This not by accident)
Anyone else might have faced administrative punishments (But she's a Clinton after all). If this was an FBI background check, Hillary would not have received clearance! And she's running for President? Those who thought the FBI was the last bastion of integrity and justice in America were served notice that anyone can be bought or intimidated by the Clintons - including the head of the FBI James Comey. So if this is not a Hillary crime, then Snowden did not actually hack top secret communications because it must have been public domain information. Sorry, but the US must drop charges against Snowden as well. Comey’s open admission that there was secret State Department information on her server is de facto admission of criminal behavior. "We found clear evidence of violation of LAW" Comey, but found no evidence of a clear intention to violate the law. "But we will not be prosecuting her for violating the law". Why not let a GRAND JURY (Comprised of average citizens of our Republic, albeit a Banana Republic). The information on Hillary's server would have had to be stolen from secured computers illegally and then illegally transmitted on to others. THINK ABOUT IT! Simply being in possession of such information is a crime. See full commentary at hillary-reckless-and-irresponsible
Lynn Breyer Response To Jim Dutton: In one last response to Jim Dutton. Allow me to clear up your misunderstanding of my response to your call for Alex Meluskey and others to step aside for Kelli Ward. My devotion is not to any particular candidate. It is to the democratic voting and election process. Any candidate who qualifies to run for public office has that right, whether some agree to their candidacy or not. It's how our election system is structured so as not to allow bad actors to control elections and what makes our system and our country exceptional. Those who don't like that system should petition to change it. I addressed Alex Meluskey because he is the only other viable candidate in the U.S. Senate race based on internal polling and I would have stood up for the other two if internal polling showed either of them were viable today. Even though neither you nor I stood up for them, they have as much right to conduct their own campaigns as they see fit as Ward or Meluskey. I do support Meluskey because he passed my vetting process, Ward didn't. It's as simple as that. I never fall in love with any candidate. It ruins my perspective! I do prefer that only one candidate was running against the dreaded McCain! It's not my place to pick one for everyone else to support. That's why we have elections. The will of the people. As to giving you a link to polls that are Internal, these are private polls done by organizations, PACs, candidates and others to get real information and are not published and so there are no links to give you. You will have to do the research I did to see them.
US Senate Candidate Clair Van Steenwyk; Lynn Breyer & Jim Dutton: I disagree with Lynn & Jim's plugs for their candidates. I’ve researched both and vetted Meluskey with others & privately, he answered questions and his staff also answered for him. He recently stated he supports the NDAA at an LD Candidate Forum. Positions based on insider polling by Ward, yellow journalism of Meluskey’s Stateman Publication, nor McCain’s misleading ads all to gain votes, are just same old politics, not statesman like. Meluskey, Ward, McCain and myself on the ballot, voters signatures put me on the ballot, didn’t pay for even one. Ward refused to appear at 2015 events with others. Meluskey’s stated he’d drop out depending on polling or his raising 1 million by March of 2016 and didn’t keep his word. Breyer’s statement saying filing first qualifies you isn’t relevant, not unlike that by Dutton: “If Kelli Ward or any of the other candidates running truly wanted to unseat McCain, they would have gotten on board with the campaign that was already underway, the Meluskey campaign. There is no place for ego in this race.” Statements as to supporting someone depends on records not a filing date or fake poll, records & promises made and broken matter. I did my research prior to entering, Wards bad record and Meluskey being unprepared showed me my decision is right. If supporting them with their records including yellow journalism and misleading #s by Meluskey’s Mgrs. Article stuffed in papers, spoke to Editor who told me, it’s not illegal to mislead voters, “no thanks”.
Intelligence Specialist Lyle Rapacki: Hillary Clinton cares more about Hillary Clinton than the safety and security of the United States. Since setting foot on the public stage in her Arkansas days, Hillary Clinton has placed Hillary Clinton first and foremost – in everything! Her use of unauthorized servers and hand-held devices outside the scope of “safe practices” for anyone with access to sensitive information has been alarming and bewildering. Her aberrant behavior that was evident since she was fired during the 1974 Watergate Hearings as a Congressional Staff Assistant for lying and tampering with evidence, through her term as Arkansas First Lady to the White House, the U.S. Senate, then as U.S. Secretary of State, Hillary has taken care of Hillary! With all the disclosures the American People continued to hold their collective breaths that maybe an adult with real authority, integrity, and lack of timidity would confront this reckless, power-addicted, self-absorbed woman. Enter FBI Director James Comey. Citizens began to feel maybe Comey hold her accountable for the myriad lives and resources she has brought to destruction. But Comey said: “We did not find Clinton’s email domain was ever hacked by hostile actors successfully since she began using it in 2009. But given the nature of such activity, we doubt we would ever see such activity.” Comey said: “There is evidence that they (Clinton and her senior aides) were extremely careless in their handling of very sensitive highly classified information.” Comey also alluded to the possibility that enemies of the United States had gained access to her server, and then added there was “evidence of potential violations of the statues regarding the handling of classified information.” Well…sir, I don’t have all the bells and whistles you have at your disposal, but here are just a few of Hillary’s emails that are making the rounds on the internet, courtesy of wikileaks. clinton-emails
Marine Veteran Bill Heuisler: When a candidate is caught in a lie, that’s bad, but when (John) McCain is caught in a foolish, insulting lie that’s fatal. McCain thinks we voters are too stupid to know that Kelli Ward was in the Az State Legislature – and could not possibly have voted for (or against) a FEDERAL Bill that affected our Armed Forces. Over the years AZ Grassroots Action PAC has done more damage to AZ Republicans than the Democrats ever have been able to do. But now John McCain’s Super PAC will pay us back by using all those millions to give Kelli Ward some more name ID while making John McCain a dinnertime joke. Please spread the word about McCain’s fatal insult to voters. We have less than 30 days until the first ballots are mailed out. This McCain mistake has probably handed victory to Kelli Ward.
A Couple Hundred Thousand Signatures and the Million-dollar Marijuana Monopoly thinks it’s a done deal. Arizonans will be toking by year’s end and they, themselves, will be rolling in the dough. Not so fast says Center for Arizona Policy President Cathi Herrod, “When voters learn the devastating consequences of legalizing recreational pot they won’t be so easily deceived by those trying to make a buck at society’s expense.”For example, when gathering the signatures, the collectors probably didn’t tell voters a few things. Such as:
· The only ones who will make money are the folks behind the big push. The dispensaries are monopolized.
· Half the pot sold in Colorado is in the form of candy - gummy bears and lollipops spiked with ten times the THC as an average joint. Children in Colorado are ending up in the ER for accidentally and innocently overdosing.
· Pot shops will pop up all over town. Within two years after legalizing marijuana in Colorado, pot shops now outnumber, Starbucks, liquor stores, and public schools.
· Any money the state makes off legalizing pot will be outpaced by added expenses due to increased traffic accidents, workplace accidents, crime, rehab, needed regulation, and huge increases in accidental overdoses when kids mistake pot-laced candy for the real thing.
The marijuana monopoly likes to downplay the drug, stating it’s safer than alcohol and doesn’t hurt anyone. But Herrod calls that a dangerous deception, “This isn’t the kind of pot they smoked at Woodstock. Today’s marijuana is at least five times stronger. Even the DEA lists marijuana in the same category as heroin, LSD, and meth. Are we going to legalize them too?” Herrod continued, “It has been proven, more people use marijuana when it is legal. That’s why Colorado is now the number one state for marijuana use. Arizona shouldn’t compete for that title.” See full statement at arizonans-are-smarter-than-the-marijuana-monopoly

Congressman Matt Salmon today after FBI Director James Comey announced the findings of the FBI’s investigation into former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s private email server: “First, I’d like to commend Director Comey and the entire Federal Bureau of Investigation for a thorough review of Secretary Clinton’s emails. I am, however, disappointed that the FBI has once again shown the American people that the political class is above prosecution. After outlining the numerous ways Secretary Clinton and her staff violated the law, Director Comey announced the FBI’s recommendation that she not be prosecuted because he couldn’t prove her intent. It should also be mentioned that Director Comey already indicated the law makes it a crime to remove information from its proper server or storage facility through negligence, something the FBI concluded in the same investigation that Secretary Clinton did, in fact, do. This second set of rules for the politically-connected is the problem with our government. Washington insiders are exempt from the same level of scrutiny, and even prosecution, which would quickly be dispensed to an average citizen. And the investigation into Secretary Clinton has once again proven she is a beneficiary of these unwritten exemptions. Because of this, I’m calling for a special prosecutor to be appointed to look into the charges and determine the appropriateness of prosecution for these crimes. Americans deserve accountability from their government officials, especially when they would be harshly prosecuted or imprisoned for performing the very same actions.”
Congresswoman Martha McSally: The U.S. House of Representatives today passed the Senior $afe Act, legislation McSally cosponsored, to encourage the reporting of fraudulent financial activity against seniors. The vote follows McSally’ s recent Senior Scam Forum in Green Valley, in which over 100 residents attended to hear about defending against scams. “Scammers can be relentless in their efforts to defraud senior citizens, including many in Southern Arizona,” said McSally. “American seniors lose nearly $3 billion a year to financial fraud. The way we combat this is by raising awareness and enhancing tools to stop fraud before it happens. That’s why I was proud to host a forum for Southern Arizona seniors highlighting steps they can take to defend against scams and vote in support of legislation to remove barriers for reporting suspicious financial activity.” Over 100 residents participate in Senior Scam Forum in Green Valley. Today’s legislation, which passed the House unanimously, encourages financial institutions to report suspected financial exploitation of seniors to federal agencies. McSally’s Senior Scam Forum, held Friday, featured representatives from the “Scam Squad” of the Pima County Sheriff’s Auxiliary Volunteers, AARP, the Pima Council on Aging, the Better Business Bureau, and the Arizona Attorney General’s Office to raise awareness of scams targeting seniors and promote ways residents can defend themselves.
