Veteran, Author Vernon Bagley: I am asking each of you to consider purchasing “PTSD: The War Is Over: The Battle Begins” for two reasons: 1) PTSD continues to be one of the most devastating personal hidden wound’s encountered by Combat Theatre Veterans, 2) For a Veterans with PTSD to successfully return to civilian life it is imperative that everyone that comes in contact with a Veteran who has PTSD, have at least a rudimentary understanding of what is going on inside the Vet, which in turn can project itself in a pattern of behavior, un-characteristic of the person you knew. All author Royalties go directly to Military Families Foundation, Inc., a 501 (c)(3) non-profit to continue our mission to help ALL Veterans and their families. Summary: Bagley, a combat infantry Officer, during the Vietnam conflict, has spent years working with Veterans with PTSD. From WWII to the Wars in Afghanistan and Iraq, Veterans, Families, and Spouse, share their experiences, openly and candidly. This book will help those who have PTSD, or have a loved one with PTSD, understand both the signs of this hidden wound, and create a framework for both to make their choice on how, when, and where to begin the healing process. Veterans from WWII to present have shared their combat experiences as a part of their healing process in the hope their stories will help you during your decision making to move forward and heal your wounds, the invisible wound of PTSD and it’s outward impact on the Veteran, Families, and Friends. The common theme in PTSD: The War is Over, The Battle Begins is that it is and will always be your choice and yours alone to take control of your PTSD. This theme is profoundly captured in two sentences from Invictus, Poem by William Ernest Henley: “I am the master of my fate: I am the captain of my soul.” See www.amazon.com/books
Vernon Bagley served in the U.S. Army from 1966-1969. He volunteered for service and entered into Basic Training. After completion, he attended Advanced Infantry Training, and then was given orders for OCS (Officer Candidate School) at Ft. Benning, GA. Upon graduation as a 2nd LT. he served a short tour of duty in the States and then received orders to report to Saigon, Vietnam in January 1968. He was assigned to the 4th Infantry Division as a combat infantry platoon leader in the Central Highlands. He reported to his assignment on January 27, 1968 and on January 28 he walked out of the “Fire Base”, into the dark, eerily quiet, hot and humid jungle he would call home for the next 9 months. His platoon size patrol followed a jungle trail for over an hour when the quiet jungle came to life with the sounds of AK 47’s, M 16’s, and Rocket Propelled Grenade Launchers. His patrol had walked into an enemy ambush. Not until he had called in his first Air Strike did the enemy melt back into the jungle and quiet returned to the jungle. The aftermath was: two of his platoon were dead, four seriously wounded, and two were missing in action. 2nd LT. Bagley was one of the wounded, he secured the area, reorganized his platoon, and then returned to the Fire Base. He was awarded his first Purple Heart and his first Bronze Star with “V” device for Valor. See www.amazon.com/books

The Significant Fish Die-Off Last Week on the Verde River below Horseshoe Dam was the result of a lack of oxygen, and not because of anything found in the river, according to a water-quality investigation compiled by the Arizona Game and Fish Department. On Thursday and Friday, the Department collected water-quality samples, analyzing fish for bacteria, viruses and parasites. The fish die-off was in an area approximately 100 yards downstream from Horseshoe Dam, which is operated and managed by Salt River Project for the Bureau of Reclamation. It is estimated that approximately 20,000 fish were killed. About 60 to 70 percent were goldfish and carp. The remaining fish species were comprised of largemouth bass, flathead catfish, channel catfish, and bluegill. The Department believes that most of the fish killed were from Horseshoe Lake and that only a small fraction may have been from the Verde River below Horseshoe Dam.

Former LD22 PC Brian Reilly: Here's just another Arpaio "dog and pony show" for Arpaio's followers to savor on the 4th of July. Arpaio knows no shame. Another staged publicity stunt to get media attention so that you won't remember that Arpaio has been found in contempt of court with possible, criminal referrals forthcoming and, hopefully you'll forget how many millions of dollars he has cost the taxpayers of Maricopa County. And notice that Sheriff Joe, doesn't even have an American flag on his brown, MCSO polo shirt as he addressed the media and attacked his critics who said Arpaio's latest stunt putting the American flag on black and white striped prison uniforms was disrespectful to the flag and to those who have served our country. We really do need a new sheriff who sees his calling as law enforcement, and not self promotion in the media. Maricopa County deserves better. inmates-to-wear-uniforms-with-american-flags

Republican National Committee (RNC) Chairman Reince Priebus released the following statement on the Obama Administration’s decision not to prosecute Hillary Clinton for mishandling classified information: “This decision by President Obama’s attorney general is a slap in the face to the many Americans entrusted with classified information who play by the rules and those who have been punished for lesser offenses,” said Priebus. “Many Americans will understandably have a difficult time believing the Obama Justice Department conducted a fair and impartial investigation when you have the attorney general secretly meeting with Bill Clinton and the Clinton campaign leaking Lynch could remain as AG, all just days before it was announced charges would not be pursued. Those who have mishandled classified information have had their security clearances revoked, lost their jobs, faced fines, and even been sent to prison, yet Hillary Clinton is being allowed to play by a different set of rules. By so blatantly putting its political interests ahead of the rule of law, the Obama Administration is only further eroding the public’s faith in a government they no longer believe is on their side.
Alberto Gonzales: 'Not Comey's Job' To Indict Hillary It is FBI Director James Comey's job to present evidence in the case against Hillary Clinton over her use of a private email server, not decide whether to prosecute the case, former Attorney General Alberto Gonzales said Wednesday. "What I'm really surprised about was the statement that no reasonable prosecutor would bring such a case," Gonzales, who served under former President George W. Bush, told MSNBC's "Morning Joe" program. "That is not his job. His job is to do the investigation, present the evidence and maybe privately as a former prosecutor give his assessment as to whether or not to move forward."
Petitions. To Whitehouse: Charge-Hillary-Rodham-Clinton-Pursuant-18-Usc-641-793-794-798-952-And-1924 Secretary of State Clinton was in direct violation of the agreement between her and the United States of American outlined on the Standard Form 312, section 4. She sent classified information outside of a server with the classification needed to keep the information she was sending secure. Her actions have created a major security violation and could potentially be used by enemies of the state. This petition is being used to reverse the FBI decision and have HRC charged with all of the aforementioned charges, along with any others that are outlined in the SF 312.
An Open Letter To Fbi Director James Comey You were given a position (by God and the American people) that has the authority (and responsibility) to show the world that America is still a nation of laws and not men, that the U.S. Constitution and rule of law is still held sacred in this country. But you brought disgrace to that position and made a mockery out of that uniquely American doctrine held sacrosanct from the days of our Founding Fathers… More: pastor chuck baldwin

Former Arizona State Senator Dr. Kelli Ward is questioning her opponent’s judgement on foreign policy. Arizona’s senior U.S. Senator John McCain spent Saturday in Islamabad, Pakistan, according to Pakistan’s Business Recorder, after meeting with Pakistan’s former president Asif Ali Zardari in Los Angeles last weekend, as reported by Dawn News, to discuss a $699 million deal to sell American F-16 fighter jets and drone technology to a government whose intelligence apparatus likely helped hide Al Qaeda mastermind Osama Bin Laden for years. Ward said, “While most American families are spending their July 4th holiday weekend reflecting on the principles that have sustained this nation since the Declaration of Independence, Arizona’s senior senator is palling around in Islamabad. Unfortunately John does not have a good track record of picking the right players in the Middle East, especially when it comes to distributing American weapons. Does he really know who-is and who-is-not associated with terrorist groups? Libya, Syria, and Iraq would not be The Islamic State’s “Harvard of terrorism” if he had not worked with Hillary Clinton to arm so many militant groups as part of Barack Obama’s failed foreign policy. Senator McCain has been dangerously distracted with his “Invade the World, Invite the World” agenda. In addition to his support for open borders and amnesty here at home, he even brags on his campaign website about securing $1.3 billion to fund more sketchy ‘train and equip programs’ in Iraq and Syria and “border security operations” in Jordan and Lebanon. The burden is on Senator McCain to explain what he is doing over there, who is he meeting with, what he is giving them, and why. Is he sure these are the right guys, this time? Will these actions incite Pakistan’s neighbor, India? Americans deserve answers.”
U.S. Senate candidate Dr. Kelli Ward: “Hillary’s reckless disregard for national security information deserves handcuffs, not a slap on the wrist. Anyone else would have been indicted already. Bill Clinton and Loretta Lynch must have had a very substantive discussion of grandchildren and golf during their chance encounter on the runway here in Phoenix. However, since the decision has been made, it is time for Republicans to further make the case against Hillary by fighting her long record of bad ideas with better ones. Hillary’s vision of America involves a bigger Obamacare, reduced economic freedoms, more debt, and more abortion. Hillary’s vision would roll back the clock on the amazing progress and prosperity that capitalism has achieved for all of us in recent centuries, especially women. As a well-educated, well-spoken conservative woman, I look forward to facing off against Ann Kirkpatrick and Hillary Clinton and exposing their left-wing agenda for what it is: the real war against women.”
Congressional candidate Andy Biggs after FBI Director James Comey recommended that no criminal charges be brought against Hillary Clinton for mishandling classified information: "I am troubled and surprised that the F.B.I. closed its investigation on democrat presidential candidate, Hillary Clinton," Biggs said. "The correct thing to do would have been to provide the information to the prosecutor and let the prosecutor make the decision on whether to proceed with charges against Mrs. Clinton. Evidence strongly suggests that Hillary Clinton was "extremely careless" in her handling of classified information concerning our national security during her time as Secretary of State. This is not a Republican or Democrat issue. This is an issue of honesty, integrity, and commitment to doing the right thing and to uphold the rule of law when no one is looking. Mrs. Clinton has demonstrated that she is unfit to hold any public office, and demonstrates her contempt for Americans by pursuing the highest office in the land. "We need bold leaders who will step up to the plate, and stand for the rule of law and against crooked politicians like Hillary Clinton. The culture of Washington, D.C. struggles to hold the Clinton Machine accountable for their actions. I look forward to joining those already fighting the good fight in D.C. and helping them to expose and punish those who think that they are above the law."
