Sen Jeff Flake didn’t do much for himself, nor party unity, when he went on national TV this past weekend and announced to the world that he wouldn’t support GOP Presidential candidate Donald Trump in the November general election. See Jeff Flake: AZ’s Aptly Named Senator Endorses Hillary With so much riding on this general election, it’s little wonder many Republicans across the state are referring to him as a traitor.
Sen Jeff Flake Has Angered So Many Long-Time Republicans that this message was spreading throughout Arizona last night: “Jeff Flake is now endorsing Hillary! Call him toll-free at 1(866)220-0044 anytime - 24 hours a day - and leave a message. If you are from Arizona, press the number they tell you for your senator; if you are from another state, wait until the automated response is done and they will connect you to a live operator who will connect you to Flake's office and to leave a message. Tell him whether you will ever vote "for" Flake again now that he is backing Clinton! Then send this out to other patriots to do the same!”

Tom Morrissey, Immediate Past Chairman AZ GOP - I am coordinating Arizona Veterans For Donald Trump and have been visiting with many of my brother and sister veterans in several parts of the state. As a result, what is extremely obvious, is the support not only for Mr Trump, the person, but also what he represents to so many of us who are sick and tired of the same old, same old, wrought by the Establishment Elite, in both parties. We veterans have been hopeful, during every election cycle, that those we send to political office will do some of what they promised during their campaigns. And when they don't, it wears the fabric of trust, very thin. I am hearing from many of the Vets who are aware of those who do walk their talk, like Joe Arapio, Matt Salmon and Paul Gosar, but they are the exception, not the rule. Support among veterans for Donald Trump appears to be at about 80% from what I am hearing. The word among veterans is that "Donald Trump has a spine and he speaks for those who truly love this country enough to lay their lives on the line for it". In my humble opinion, Trump is seen by many veterans, as a giant middle finger aimed at the Establishment (in both parties). I can't help but wonder if Senator Flake is aware of all this?
The Hotly Contested Republican Primary battle between candidates Andy Biggs and Christine Jones is still up in the air. See arizona-congressional-race-going-to-court-before-recount and judge-blocks-christine-jones-effort-to add-uncounted-ballots
LD13 Rep Darin Mitchell and LD17 Rep JD Mesnard are in a verbal slugfest over who will become Speaker of the Arizona House. It’s getting a bit testy as the bickering moves forward.
LD13 Sen Steve Montenegro says rumors floating around that he is a member of “NeverTrump” gang are absolutely false… like a lot of other pre-primaary election stories that tried to smear him. Montenegro advanced from the House to the Senate as ballots were counted in the Aug 30 primary election. Montenegro beat challenger Diane Landis by well over 4,000 votes for the senate seat. It seems the RINO tag that surfaced during the previous LD13 House race is still attached to Landis while Montenegro has racked up an award winning conservative voting record. Apparently elephants do have long memories.
Just A Gentle Reminder for those who have grandparents. Sept 11 is Grandparent’s Day.

Lt. Colonel Wendy Rogers, USAF (Retired) (One of the Air Force's first women pilots.) "The top priority of the United States government is to preserve our people and our freedom. Mr. Trump believes in President Reagan's "peace through strength" approach to national security. The United States must deal with many threats to our security around the world, and Hillary Clinton has proved through her years as Secretary of State that she was more interested in running a pay-to-play scheme trading access for foreign government donations to the Clinton Foundation rather than watching out for our security. As President, Mr. Trump would bring back Ronald Reagan's "peace through strength" approach to national security by standing up to ISIS and other threats and keeping us safe, and 88 retired generals and admirals agree." Senator John McCain: “For the third time, Senate Democrats have chosen partisan politics over funding veterans’ health care and combatting the deadly Zika virus, which has already infected citizens in the United States. This shameful action represents nothing more than an election year stunt, and confirms everything the American people dislike about Washington. Our citizens are demanding their elected representatives do the hard work to solve the problems plaguing our nation now – not whenever it seems politically convenient.”
LD17 Recording Secretary Don Langlois: Our son, Eric, age 46, is in need of a kidney transplant. No one in the family can be a donor. We are seeking a kidney donor for our son, an electrical engineer at Sandia Laboratory in Albuquerque, New Mexico? Eric has been accepted as a candidate for kidney transplant at Mayo Hospital in Phoenix and at University of NM in Albuquerque, but it seems that it is up to us to seek someone who is both willing and able to donate a kidney to Eric Langlois. Our telephone number is 480-899-2531 and my email address is firstname.lastname@example.org Editor’s Note: Our thoughts and prayers are with your family.
