10-19-16 Briefs

Republican Briefs

Editor Frosty Taylor      Web Master John Strasser

Trump Team for Arizona Communications Director Coalter Baker: "With polls showing support for Hillary in the basement across the country with Millennial voters, her campaign is sending Bernie Sanders to many states, including yesterday in Arizona —all designed to manufacture an illusion of enthusiasm for her candidacy. Unfortunately for Bernie, he's having to prop up his former rival after reports surfaced recently that Hillary talked down to these same young voters for "living in their parents' basement" and being stuck in a "job that doesn't pay a lot." No matter how many times Bernie goes to bat for Hillary with Millennials, he's striking out every time --  we're tired of career Washington politicians represent the corrupt and failed policies of the past, and we will vote for change in November." — 520-352-9510

The AFA Team: That is the crux of the emails and calls we've been getting from voters, some of whom are members of AFA.  Here's what we can tell you: The Maricopa County Recorder's office admitted to one of our members that they have not sent out all of the early ballots, did not send them all on the day specified, that they have been sent over several days.So if you live in a county where this is happening, you may not have yet received your early ballot.  In the primary, some AFA team members did not receive theirs for two weeks AFTER the date we were told they would show up in mailboxes. It is also reported that it's impossible to get through by phone to the Maricopa County Recorder's office.  If you have received your ballot and voted and returned it, you can verify whether it has been received AND counted on the county's website in the Elections section.  You will need your voter registration ID number. Link:  earlyvotingballotstatus.aspx But if you are still awaiting the arrival of your ballot, give it till Saturday before you panic.  If you still have not received your ballot, try calling the county recorder's office. Spread the word!n – Arizona Freedom Alliance Team.

The Yavapai County Republican Committee Victory Office, 112 B E. Union St, Prescott, AZ 86303 is open Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday 10 am - 4pm. Closed closed on Wednesdays. 928-776-4500

LD13 PC Ernie McCullom: Fellow Republicans - I’m a Natural Born American both of my parents were citizens of this nation and the definition natural born at the time of the drafting our Constitution was taken from the English. It was quite simple a child born to two citizen parents. John McCain knows this and he did nothing to stop President Obama from becoming president. He was installed as President by the New World order type so he could bring America to her knees and anyone who questions it is racist BS. I became a Republican because Lincoln freed the slaves; now the party is responsible for enslaving our nation and this is why we are having this division. UN Agenda 21 is in direct conflict with our Constitution. This treaty destroys the freedom of America and when we are gone there will be no freedom. I’m asking you to please vote for Trump no matter how bad it looks. Every time there is a strong leader who opposes this new world order he is a serial molester of women. It was the same last election when they destroyed Herman Cain and we ended up with Romney who profiled over closing down American factories. Ask yourself the following. Would you support the loss of private property rights, the destruction of all dams in America, the re-wilding of our public lands where we will have no access , the destruction of all ski resorts and golf courses? Would you want your family forced to move into human re-settlement areas like there building in Tempe and Mesa. These are just a few of the goals of UN Agenda 21. Goggle Democrats Against Agenda 21.

Former-Secret-Service-Agents-Destroys-Hillary-Clinton-Video Former Secret Service Agent Dan Bongino “Everything I told you about Hillary is true.”  Bongino continues to blast Hillary Clinton for treating people terribly. He was adamant about the fact that there are things so bad about Hillary that we can never let the Clinton’s back in the White House. Bongino also said there is information that people are sitting on out there now. There is a destruction of government property story out there, there are more stories out there and people are sitting on them. We do not have a chance with Hillary. America has a chance with Trump.

Newly Released FBI Documents reveal that State Department security personnel so disliked working for Hillary Clinton that many left the agency or asked to be reassigned. “Prior to Clinton's tenure, being an agent on the secretary of state’s protective detail was seen as an honor and privilege reserved for senior agents. However, by the end of Clinton's tenure, it was staffed largely with new agents because it was difficult to find senior agents willing to work for her," the agency's report says. ed-klein-state-department-security-secret-service-hated-hillary-clinton

Arizona Project Chairman Ron Ludders: Deceit- An Ugly Word, But It Gets Worse When You See It In Action. Most of us know we are being lied to daily by our government.  We also know the Clinton's are masters at the "pay to play" game and will do anything to hold on to their POWER.  Why?  Because that's what the Clinton's do.  But they're not alone!  Democrat Operatives keep these type of people in political office year after year. Until now, we've had little hard proof of the scandalous behavior of the left. Now, James O'Keefe of Project Veritas demonstrates what true investigative journalism is all about.  Thank you James for your courage.  Because of the high impact of O'Keefe's work the main stream media will not let it be seen on TV.  Therefore, I've attached the links for your viewing.  I'm sorry about the language, but please persevere because this is a powerful indictment of Clinton and company.rigging-election-video-i-clinton-campaign-and-dnc-incite-violence-trump-rallies and Rigging the election: Video II Contact Ludders at 602.677.1496

The AzGOP and the Arizona Republican Lawyers Association is conducting training sessions for poll observers at 6 pm., Oct 26 and Nov 2 at AZGOP Headquarters, 3501 N. 24th St., in Phoenix, according to AZGOP Chairman Robert Graham. “We need your help in appointing trained observers to serve in your county. All such appointments are made by county chairmen. We had excellent results during the August 30th primary but need to increase the scale with three times the number of voters expected. We will also present the training during that time online using Webex. Over 800 volunteers signed up and continue to sign up at Special thanks to Amanda Reeve (602.382.6177) of the AzRLA for helping on the legal front. The hotline (1-888-680-6816) is for our poll observers/voters to report any issue at the polls. The hotline is live right to report a problem with early voting through election day. Report election-related issues, upload photos, video, etc. at Action items:

  1. We need each county chair to let us know the process your county elections officials use for appointing poll observers so we can ensure the trained observers can comply with the requirements.
  2. Distribute the hotline (1-888-680-6816) and information to your PCs and encourage them to visit to volunteer as a poll observer.
  3. Require any of your observer volunteers to complete the training on either of the dates above.
  4. in addition to election-day poll observers, each county tabulation process must permit a party member to observe the tally. You can have multiple volunteers do this, perhaps working in shifts, but only one observer is permitted from each party at one time.

As you well know we must be diligent in preventing voter fraud, but equally diligent that we do not engage in any type of voter intimidation or harassment. This is especially important with the pending federal court case. This is why all Republican poll watchers must be trained by the attorneys we have engaged to ensure we have a fair and successful process. - Robert Graham - Chairman

Brian Seitchik and Thayer Verschoor - Trump Team Arizona: We have an urgent request that came straight from Trump Tower in New York. We must not allow crooked Hillary and her cronies to lie and trick voters. Please sign up to volunteer this Saturday to make phone calls, walk your neighborhood, and put signs in your yard. Together we can continue to grow our state record – there are more than 40,000 Trump signs in Arizonan yards. Help him make America great again by volunteering to spread his message of America first. COLA Hits New Low of 0.3%: After receiving no cost-of-living adjustment (COLA) this year, Social Security beneficiaries will finally receive a raise effective January 1st.  But the increase in benefits is so small, it will be the lowest payable COLA ever in the history of the program — raising a $1,000 benefit by just $3.The new low comes as COLAs have flat-lined over the past seven years, averaging just 1.2% — less than half the 3% average over the two decades prior to 2010. The long-term financial impact on anticipated retirement benefits is significant and growing, says TSCL’s Executive Director, Shannon Benton.  “People lose the effect of compounding when benefit raises are at these extreme lows,” she explains.  “That reduces the Social Security income that retirees may have been counting on over their retirement.”  According to TSCL estimates, benefits are today 13% lower than if inflation had remained the more typical 3% for retirees who have been receiving Social Security since 2009 when the low COLAs started.  A Social Security benefit of $1,000 in 2009 is about $142 per month lower today than if COLA had been the more typical 3%, with a total loss of about $6,697 in Social Security benefit growth over the past seven years.  Over the same period, however, actual senior costs have continued to climb.  Some 72% of retirees who participated in TSCL’s 2016 Senior Survey reported that their monthly expenses had gone up by more than $79 in 2015, despite the lack of growth in inflation.“The need for an Emergency COLA has never been greater,” says Benton.  TSCL is meeting with Congress to urge lawmakers to enact emergency legislation to provide a COLA large enough to boost benefits in 2016 and 2017.  In addition, TSCL is asking Members of Congress to pass legislation that would use a senior consumer price index, the Consumer Price Index for the Elderly (CPI-E), to more fairly calculate the annual boost.  Sources:  0.3% COLA Announced, The Social Security Administration, October 19, 2016.  “Long Term Impact of Low COLA Growth,” Mary Johnson, TSCL, August 31, 2016.

Sen John McCain and Senate Committee on Indian Affairs (SCIA) Chairman John Barrasso (R-WY) sent a letter to Attorney General Loretta Lynch and Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Administrator Gina McCarthy regarding the EPA Inspector General (IG) investigation into the Gold King Mine spill. According to a briefing to congressional staff last week, the IG found evidence of wrongdoing, including violations of the Clean Water Act and the False Claims Act, and referred its criminal findings to the U.S. Attorney for the District of Colorado for prosecution. Yet on the very same day, the U.S. Attorney declined to prosecute these offenses. The senators requested a briefing on Department of Justice’s (DOJ) decision not to pursue any charges related to the EPA’s Gold King Mine disaster, which resulted in widespread damage to the environment, people and businesses throughout the surrounding communities. They also pledged to continue supporting the Navajo Nation’s lawsuit against the EPA and pushing legislation that would expedite reimbursement payments to tribes for emergency response costs and other financial damages in the wake of this avoidable disaster. This decision by DOJ appears to place politics over Native Americans’ livelihood. “This decision shows that the federal government is not interested in holding itself to the same level of accountability that it holds private companies to when their negligence causes serious environmental damage and major economic harm,” the senators wrote. “The federal government has extracted accountability, remediation and restitution from scores of oil, gas and mining companies on far less evidence than what we have seen in the Gold King Mine spill case. Given how much this catastrophe has devastated the lives and livelihoods of Native American tribes, including the Navajo Nation, someone needs to be held accountable and legally liable for the largest disaster of its kind since the Deepwater Horizon spill in the Gulf of Mexico.”
