LD5 Dr Robert Lee: The “Sky has fallen on Hillary”.  Donald can/will win this campaign. We are having a final sign wave on Sat., Nov 5 from noon till 2 pm at Ironwood (Ganzel) and Combs in San Tan Valley.  STV has 100,000 people, is a new community, where most of the folks are first time voters this election cycle.  Clara Davis has recently been appointed Chair of PCRC district 2 (STV) replacing Tom Ramsdale who is ill.  We are helping Clara in the district. We are tired, but re-energized here at the end of the campaign. One last push to get the undecided to vote for Donald Trump. We have slate cards and palm cards and a lot of yard signs. Come down for 1/2 an hour and help. We get 20 thumbs up with horn honks for every 1 thumbs down.  We had a line of cars picking up Trump signs that kept 4 of us busy assembling yard signs in Apache Junction. We handed out scores of yard signs. I wish to thank all those who participated in the sign waves. Wayne Lamm, Dave Farnsworth, Jery Clingman, Kay Reardon, Karen Sundt, Clara Davis, Bill Marozas, Cathy Marozas, Larry in the wheel chair, all those who I can't remember your names. Go Trump !!!

Soros-Connected Group Sends Out ‘Voting Report Cards’ to Scare Minorities Into Voting Hillary Millions of deceptive "voting report cards" are being sent to "African Americans, Latinos, millennials and unmarried women" in swing states to scare them into voting for Hillary Clinton. Read more of this post      Editor’s Note: Similar reports cards were also sent out in Arizona by both the GOP and the Dems. Arizona-Republican-Voter-Report-Card-Mailer

Leaked-Email-Reveals-Hillary-Willing-Silence-Trey-Gowdy Trey Gowdy Is Very Good At His Job. He’s a clear and present danger to Hillary Clinton. He has given it his all to go after Hillary Clinton on Benghazi… he hasn’t succeeded – the Clinton Machine has been too well oiled on this one. One of WikiLeaks’ emails also shows how it was a priority for Team Hildabeast to take Trey Gowdy down. Especially as he turned up the heat on Benghazi. Hillary’s aides were ordered to find some way to discredit Gowdy. They brainstormed it – all the big names in Clinton’s email scandal were part of the plotting. But in the end, they failed to nail him

Activist/Volunteer Lori DeLuca Is Offering To Deliver Trump Signs to your home via her “TRUMPmobile” if you can’t get to a local campaign office to pick up a sign. If you need a sign delivered, text the TRUMPmobile at 860.202.7703 and leave your name, full address including zip code. DeLuca says, “I am delivering Trump/Pence yard signs all over to people's homes. (mostly in Tempe, Gilbert, Mesa Scottsdale).  I know a lot of people just can't get to one of the offices and I see Hillary signs popping up so I want to get more Trump signs out!”

LD17 sends a big “thank you” to all their volunteers who helped make 4,500 call this past weekend and to the 1,000 door knockers who walked the street. They will be hard at it again on Saturday, according to Chairman Dr. Shadow Asgari.

Sen John McCain will join Arizona Public Service at a Veterans Day Ceremony to honor the Veterans Day Parade Grand Marshals and all who have served 11 am., Thurs., Nov 3 in Phoenix. A first for Arizona, this program will be headquartered at Luke Air Force Base and led by APS as the program’s employment leader, and will connect highly trained and talented transitioning service members to some of the nation’s top companies for career opportunities. Currently, Arizona has less than 3,000 people in workforce training programs, while California boasts over 70,000.

State Committeeman Linda Brickman: Ballot Harvesting is not legal pursuant a 9th Circuit Court of Appeals. See federal-judge-lets-arizona-enforce-ballot-harvesting-ban In summation, the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals UPHELD the original decision to STOP ballot harvesting in Arizona. The Court acknowledged there was no proof of racial discrimination, against the new law of "ballot harvesting." The Bill 2023, which became law last legislative session states that ballots can be dropped off at the voting centers only by family members, caretakers, or those living at the residence of whom the ballot is dropped off by. The Plaintiffs had alleged that no voter fraud ever took place and the Bill created a sense of intimidation and discrimination to the voter. Both arguments by the Plaintiff were found not to be valid as no evidence could be found to substantiate their claim. With this current decision by the 9th Circuit Court, there is expected to have additional training for all poll workers at their next training on Thursday, November 3rd to discuss the ballot harvesting issue. Contact Brickman at 602-330-9422.

Kathy Hedge – AZGOP Action Team Coordinator:   If you are watching the polls and listened to our candidates, you know it’s not over yet.  Every effort can make a difference.  Take action now at the AZGOP headquarters. We have door hangars that need to be stuffed for distribution this week. We will be at headquarters at 3501 N 24th St beginning at 9 am during the week. Please RSVP to Kathy.hedges@azgop.org 602957-7770 cell 602-319-0736

Arizona Dems will host a 6:30 pm., Wed., Nov 2 “Early Vote Rally with Hillary Clinton at the Sun Devil Fitness Complex at ASU, 400 E Apache Blvd in Tempe. Doors open at 3:30 pm.

AzFRW Chairman Loraine Pellegrino: In these final days, the work to Get Out The Vote is in overdrive. We are one week away from Election Day, November 8th, and we still need your help and support. If you have time during the week or on the weekend; in the morning, afternoon or evening, come volunteer at one of our Victory offices. We hate making and getting political calls, but the STATS insist that they work. It is important to get every voter to actually vote on or before Election Day. I know that everyone is exhausted and perhaps a bit anxious. This is not the time to get discouraged or to sit at home and fret. Please continue to volunteer, see if your ballot was received, go vote at the polls, and tell every registered Republican you know to vote as well. It is critical that we vote for every single Republican -- up and down the ballot -- to keep Arizona red. (click the links above in blue!)

Still not sure what YOU can do to make a difference? Call or email me ASAP! president@azfrw.com or 480-577-0291.Let's make the next days count. Let's make America Great Again. Victory 2016!

State Committeeman Linda Brickman: 9th Circuit Upholds AZ Ballot Harvesting Law. Late Friday night, October 28, 2016, the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals denied the Democratic Party’s attempt to stop the Arizona Ballot Harvesting Law (H.B. 2023) before the November election. Under the law, a person can deliver an early ballot of a voter to the proper voting precinct ONLY if that person is a family member, co-resident, or a caregiver; in all other instances, it is a felony. Isn’t It Amazing The We Have Billions Of Dollars To Give To Other Countries and all kinds of benefits for illegals, yet our elderly who worked a lifetime contributing to social security and retirement programs get a 0.3% cost-of-living (COLA) increase. See article below. - ft

The Cost-Of-Living Adjustment (COLA) Hits A New Low Of 0.3%. The increase in benefits is so small, it will be the lowest payable COLA ever in the history of the program — raising a $1,000 benefit by just $3.The new low comes as COLAs have flat-lined over the past seven years, averaging just 1.2% — less than half the 3% average over the two decades prior to 2010. The long-term financial impact on anticipated retirement benefits is significant and growing, says TSCL’s Executive Director, Shannon Benton.  “People lose the effect of compounding when benefit raises are at these extreme lows,” she explains.  “That reduces the Social Security income that retirees may have been counting on over their retirement.”   According to TSCL estimates, benefits are today 13% lower than if inflation had remained the more typical 3% for retirees who have been receiving Social Security since 2009 when the low COLAs started.  A Social Security benefit of $1,000 in 2009 is about $142 per month lower today than if COLA had been the more typical 3%, with a total loss of about $6,697 in Social Security benefit growth over the past seven years.  Over the same period, however, actual senior costs have continued to climb.  Some 72% of retirees who participated in TSCL’s 2016 Senior Survey reported that their monthly expenses had gone up by more than $79 in 2015, despite the lack of growth in inflation. “The need for an Emergency COLA has never been greater,” says Benton.  TSCL is meeting with Congress to urge lawmakers to enact emergency legislation to provide a COLA large enough to boost benefits in 2016 and 2017.  In addition, TSCL is asking Members of Congress to pass legislation that would use a senior consumer price index, the Consumer Price Index for the Elderly (CPI-E), to more fairly calculate the annual boost.  Sources:  0.3% COLA Announced, The Social Security Administration, October 19, 2016.  “Long Term Impact of Low COLA Growth,” Mary Johnson, TSCL, August 31, 2016.
