Trump Says He Won't Take Clinton Investigations Off the Table UPDATE, 2:pm ET: In a meeting with New York Times reporters, President-elect Donald Trump said he would not take the investigations of the Clintons off the table. Two reporters tweeted from inside the meeting, as Trump also expressed the view that Clinton "suffered greatly" and that it would be "very, very divisive for the country" to prosecute the Clintons.

President-Elect Donald Trump's Administration Will Not Pursue Further Investigations Of Hillary Clinton's Private Email Server Or The Clinton Foundation, According To His Former Campaign Manager Kellyanne Conway. Trump's decision represents a significant break from a major campaign promise -- at the second presidential debate in early October, Trump threatened Clinton, saying that "if I win, I am going to instruct my attorney general to get a special prosecutor to look into your situation." Conway said Clinton "still has to face the fact that a majority of Americans don't find her to be honest or trustworthy," but added that "if Donald Trump can help her heal, then perhaps that's a good thing to do."

'Designers Won't Dress The Trumps' Sources Says, As Sophie Theaalet Writes Open Letter Refusing To Dress Melania Fashion designers are protesting the election of Donald Trump by refusing to dress the incoming First Lady, People magazine reported.   Editor’s Note: This got to be the biggest waste of time and ink stories in a long time. Who cares whether some designer refuses to dress the First Lady. It appears Melania is doing a pretty good job on her own. – ft

As Stories Continue To Surface nationwide regarding the harassing/threatening phone calls, e-mails and letter that the Electoral College voters are receiving, Carol Joyce, one of the Arizona electors reports: “Friday, I received 28 letters from around the country in my  home delivery mail box.  Saturday 31 letters, today not to bad only 17, I am not opening any of them up…just rubber banded them and will take them to state GOP HQ .  You never know what could be inside of them with some of these bad characters out there….Today, as of 5:45 pm and since 5:22 am this morning, I have received of 3,302 emails!  On Monday - 2,719, Sunday - 2,247, last Saturday - 3,711,  It’s very time consuming because, it’s not easy to delete when they are mixed in with my regular email! Oh well, in time this shall pass!   It’s worth the grief because we now have the White House back with a President and VP who will make some good things happen for our Country!”

US Senator John McCain, Chairman of the Senate Armed Services Committee, yesterday on the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP): “The President-elect’s announcement that he intends to withdraw from the Trans-Pacific Partnership, though anticipated, is still a disappointment to those of us who still believe in free trade and the importance of America’s strategic role in the Asia-Pacific region. This decision will forfeit the opportunity to promote American exports, reduce trade barriers, open new markets, and protect American invention and innovation. And it will create an opening for China to rewrite the economic rules of the road at the expense of American workers. Already, China is intensifying its push for a new regional trade agreement, which excludes the United States. America and the world paid a heavy price in the 1920s and 1930s when we tried to isolate ourselves from the world, including through disastrous protectionist policies. With challenges mounting around the world, this is a time when America can least afford to ignore the lessons of history. Whatever happens to TPP, America must press forward with a positive trade agenda in the Asia-Pacific that will keep American workers and companies competitive in one of the most economically vibrant and fastest-growing regions in the world. But have no doubt, withdrawing from TPP will have serious consequences for American workers and American national security.”
