Tom Morrissey, Immediate Past Chairman AZ GOP: I participated in a forum, as a panelist discussing "Humanity In Political Campaigns", Thursday evening at the downtown campus of ASU in the Cronkite Building. There were about 50 people there and I was probably the only person in the room supporting Trump. The discussion was lively and it was extremely obvious to me that the divide in this country is far deeper than many think. However, that divide is not necessarily between Democrats and Republicans. It is becoming more of a reality that the divide is actually between the Establishment in both parties and the Great Unwashed (We The People). The comments and videos that were shown, were against Trump, but there not a mention of Clinton, good or bad. (Other than mine, of course.) Gave me pause, wondering why, until I looked around the room and realized that those who walk the leftist path, never stray, no matter what the reason. There is no way any of them would ever even consider anyone but their candidate. So I compared that to our party, and the result was, that this is why we struggle to win national elections. Current election cycle is a perfect example. Anyway, the odds were stacked and I'm certain that they regretted having only 50 people there. Next time they might want to have a few more, just to make it a bit more even. I love being a Deplorable.

LD22 Chairman Eric Morgan has reminded his elected PCs that they are eligible to run for election for as candidates as a LD officer and state delegates at their meeting on Mon., Nov 7. Nominations will be accepted from the floor on election night. They will elect a chairman, first and second vice chair, secretary, treasurer and state delegates to the AZGOP. Reminded potential state delegates that “In January, we will be electing some new State Party Officers, including a State Chairman, the position currently held by Robert Graham. Each district sends a subset of its PC list, consisting of 1 delegate for every 3 elected PCs, or approximately 48 DELEGATES, to this meeting to vote. These are the State Delegates to which I'm referring. LD22's goal is always to ensure we have a full roster of State Delegates to maximize LD22's voice in the election of state officers. Proxies are allowed at this meeting so don't let uncertainty hinder you from signing up for this position. These same State Delegates will attend 2018's January meeting as well so you're signing up for only two annual meetings. It's our duty as one of the most conservative districts in the state to make sure our values are well represented at the state meeting so I encourage ALL elected PCs to participate.” To determine if you are eligible to run for any of these offices, we will be using the official Precinct Committeeman list as published by the county recorder at this link: Maricopa County Precinct Committeeman Page Candidates should send their intentions to all three Nominating Committee members - Lori Hack - LoriHack7@gmail.com, (602) 616-6346; Claudia Burr - firstname.lastname@example.org, (480) 371-7409; Greg Rucker - email@example.com, (623) 328-8620.

Don Turner, President of Nevadans for State Gun Rights: Compared to the tough decisions you have to make this election, Voting No on Question 1 is the simple choice. Question 1 won’t do what it promises; it won’t make Nevada safer and it won’t stop criminals from getting guns. But we need your help to get that message out because there are a lot of Nevadans who’ve been led astray by Bloomberg and the media. We’ve got an aggressive campaign ready to go these last few days, but we need your financial help to make it happen. Please click here to make a donation. Millionaire Michael Bloomberg doesn’t want gun owners to vote. He’s relying on the general public to fall for his scare tactics and lies. Early voting ends today, and it’s our responsibility to stop Question 1 at the polls. We also have an obligation to inform every voter in Nevada about the dangers of gun control. With your help we have fundraised enough to keep our billboards up until Election Day, but we’re not stopping there. Click here to donate and make sure that eligible voters will keep receiving our autodials until the last possible moment. Editor’s Note: Turner is a retired AZ Game and Fish Dept administrator.

If you'd like a refresher or have fallen through the cracks in getting set up to help, here's the last chance. Training and authorization will be performed Monday Night. Training is imperative to make sure you, as a poll watch, don't break the law yourself and risk poorly representing your party and your ideals. Don't let this scare you however because the poll watcher job is easy with the right information, according to Morgan
FBI agents on the corruption case looking into the Clinton Foundation are contending with an overtly partisan Justice Department pulling out all of the stops to protect Hillary Clinton from accountability. The Wall Street Journal’s Kim Strassel writes: The most obnoxious spin of the 2016 campaign came this week, as Democrats, their media allies and even President Obama accused the FBI of stacking the election. It’s an extraordinary claim, coming as it does from the same crew that has—we now know—been stacking the election all along in the corridors of the Justice Department …
Secretary of State Michele Reagan has announced the number of registrants in Arizona have soared by 187,855 to nearly 3.6 million active voters. It was the largest report-to-report increase since the 2008 General Election which jumped 230,989. Of the state's 3,588,466 voters, 1,239,614 are Republicans, 1,091,323 are Democrats and 1,219,277 have not designated an officially recognized party preference. Libertarians and members of the Green party make up a little less than one percent of the state’s total registration “I was thrilled to see the number of registered voters increase this much,” said Reagan. “The level of interest in this election is extremely high and it looks as if that passion has translated into people registering to vote at a high rate. We also hope to add an additional 2,069 potential voters if the court allows those who registered after the statutory deadline to be added to the rolls. Continue at voter registration increases by 187K in just over 2 months
Emails released under court order show Hillary Clinton discussed using FedEx to mail a secure cell phone. The Associated Press reports: Hillary Clinton and a senior aide discussed sending a secure cell phone to the secretary of state by FedEx or a personal courier, according to emails released Thursday. The State Department said either approach would have been acceptable, if the telephone was rendered inoperable for the journey. The unusual exchange from 2010 begins with Clinton confidante Huma Abedin telling her boss that she would mail the secure phone from Washington before her husband, then-Rep. Anthony Weiner, takes her to the airport. Clinton asks if one of Weiner's assistants could make the delivery. See CBS News reports
Politico reports: Hillary Clinton’s top advisers downplayed her involvement in arranging a lavish Clinton Foundation conference in Marrakech last year, but behind the scenes they acknowledged her pivotal role and worked to minimize fallout from it. After media inquiries about the role of Clinton and the King of Morocco in setting the stage for the conference, Clinton confidants, including her husband Bill Clinton, scrambled to craft a new foreign contribution policy that looked tougher but still let them accept the Moroccan cash, according to hacked emails released by WikiLeaks.

LD6 Incumbent Rep Brenda Barton: Election Day is next week and I need your vote to win! As your representative I have voted to balance the state budget, improve our schools without raising taxes, and promote small government that is on our side, not in our way. When you go to your polling place on Tues, Nov 8th vote your conservative LD 6 Team: Brenda Barton, Bob Thorpe, and Sylvia Allen.
Incumbent Supervisor Denny Barney: Election Day 2016 is only four days away! If you haven’t sent in your early ballot yet, you can drop it off at any polling location this coming Tues, Nov 8th to ensure it is counted. If you haven’t voted yet, let me urge you to vote NO on Proposition 205, the legalization of recreational marijuana. We all know what a blessing and privilege it is to have the right to vote. While we aren’t always excited about our choices, not voting is not a constructive way to have our voices heard. Let’s do our best to be informed on the issues, study the candidates, then cast our votes this coming Tuesday. It has been an honor to serve the citizens of Maricopa County this past four years, and to represent the southeast valley. I would be honored to have this privilege again and hope I have earned your vote.
Anthony Barry - Political Director for incumbent Congresswoman Martha McSally: Just a reminder that if you received an early ballot and have not mailed it back yet, please DO NOT place it in the mail. Because of mail delays, it may not arrive in time to be counted. Instead, you should drop off your ballot at an early voting location or at any polling location in your county on Election Day.
