Congressman Paul Gosar impressed a full house Monday evening in Wickenburg as he detailed his budget plan with the assistance of his staffer Penny Pew. He’s like the energizer bunny – he had met with a Wickenburg group at the ice cream parlor in the morning, had lunch with Mayor John Cook, meet with a business group in the afternoon and was still running full steam ahead through the Wickenburg Republican Club questions. Such enthusiasm and energy. Editor’s Note: Every Republican Club in CD4 should schedule Gosar’s power point presentation. It not only educates, he encourages you to get off your duff and put the pressure on Arizona congressmen who need to shape up and vote with the grassroots instead of the Washington establishment. ft

Chairman National Association of Former Border Patrol Officers (NAFBOP) Chairman Zack Taylor: NAFBPO specifically warned about asymmetrical warfare by our government against the United States on July 1, 2014. See Security On The Border Between USA And Mexico All states should be required to 'demand' proof of citizenship to vote in U.S. Elections. Another example of successful asymmetrical warfare against the United States, funded by the U.S. Taxpayer for their own demise. Brenda Dickinson - Yavapai County Republicans to Elect Donald J. Trump for President Committee Chairman: I was elected Chairman of the Yavapai County Republicans to Elect Donald J. Trump for President Committee on Thursday, February 4, 2016, by a group of grass root supporters for Donald Trump with Thayer Verschoor, the Arizona Deputy State Director for the Trump Campaign in attendance. Since then we have been actively attending local Republican meetings recruiting members for the Committee, forming a phone bank, and handing out materials. Members are now wearing T-shirts and buttons and putting yard signs in their yards. For information contact Brenda Dickinson, Chairman at (928) 925-1549.
Stephen Sivigliano: The conservative pundits are saying obummer deliberately missed the funeral Mass for Scalia for political reasons, using those "binders" of candidates as an excuse. Remember Romney's "binders of women?" He skipped the funeral because he's in an all-out war against the Catholic Church. As a devout muslim, he feels he would be contaminated by even watching a Catholic Mass. He takes every opportunity to attack, trash, or snub the Church, and isn't exactly in love with any other Christian faith, either. If we stop listening to his voice and looking at him, and simply look INTO his eyes, we will see the evil lurking in his soul. The eyes really are the windows of the soul, at least in his case.
Boe James - Fountain Hills Republican Club Secretary: I appreciate all you do for the Republicans of Maricopa County and for helping me get the word out about the Fountain Hills Republican Club and our activities/speakers.

The Crooks Of Political Washington DC Consultancy When Donald Trump pointed the finger at Jeb Bush at the last debate and claimed he's got nothing to show for the millions his campaign has spent, he wasn't kidding. A review of how Bush and his allies spent over $125 million in his failed campaign shows the main thing to come out of it was a lot of consultants and local TV stations made a lot of money. A Washington Post review of Bush spending shows more than 95 percent of the advertising budget – from his campaign and the separate super PAC, Right to Rise – went to consulting firms Oath Strategies and Revolution Agency. The more than $100 million budget largely went straight to buying up air time on local TV stations, but the consultants themselves reportedly would have pocketed several million dollars in commissions and fees along the way…
160222-2120 – AZRRT Update: ALIS/RTS Still Disrespecting Rural Az - Jose Borrajero email@example.com -- For years, the Request to Speak program of the AZ Legislature Information System has required that in order to provide opinions via RTS, one must register in person at the state capitol in Phoenix, or the annex in Tucson.
Then at the beginning of the 2016 session it was widely reported that the in person registration was no longer necessary since on-line registration would accomplish the same result.
However, it has come to our attention that either on-line registration never allowed rendering of opinions, or if it did, it has been rescinded.
1. If you reside outside the Phoenix/Tucson metro areas and desire to provide opinions via the RTS but are having difficulty, you may want to do two things:
2. Find someone that will be willing to register you in person in Phoenix or Tucson, or travel there yourself.
Contact your legislators and request that on-line registration give you full access, so that you are on an equal footing with those who reside within the major metro areas.
Meanwhile we at the AZRRT will do our part to assist rural residents in this important endeavor by striving to register everyone who meets the following criteria:
1. Requests registration via e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org containing full name, valid e-mail address, and city/town of residence.
2. Resides outside the Phoenix/Tucson metro areas or has a disability that would prevent traveling to the state capitol.
3. Makes a solemn promise to participate. Obviously, not everyone can submit an opinion on every bill every time. But we do expect some significant participation. We regard this as serious business and expect no less of everyone we help register.
PHOENIX RESIDENTS: If you wish to assist with this project, let us know via e-mail at email@example.com
Monday the Goldwater Institute asked Pinal County Sheriff Paul Babeu’s office and the County Attorney for records explaining how it is spending money seized using the state’s civil asset forfeiture laws. Last summer the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) filed a lawsuit challenging the constitutionality of Arizona’s civil asset forfeiture laws. These are laws that allow police agencies to seize money and property from people even if they haven’t been charged with a crime. In that lawsuit, the ACLU revealed that not only were Pinal County officials seizing a substantial amount of money and property through this questionable practice, they may be misusing the proceeds. “We are very concerned about the news coming out of Pinal County related to the use of civil asset forfeiture and the proceeds stemming from the practice,” said Jared Blanchard, a staff attorney at the Goldwater Institute’s Scharf-Norton Center for Constitutional Litigation.
Two potentially illegal uses of seized funds have come to light. First, the Arizona Constitution prevents governments from financially supporting private organizations without getting something of equal value in return. The ACLU lawsuit showed that the Sheriff’s office has been providing significant sums to private non-profit groups.
Second, the Pinal County Sheriff’s Office used forfeiture monies to send out a mailer to Pinal County voters last week. The Sheriff says it is an informative newsletter, but other elected officials, both Republican and Democrat, have said it is really a campaign advertisement in support of the Sheriff’s effort to win a seat in the US House of Representatives. This mailer may violate Arizona laws that prohibit the use of public money to support the political campaigns of existing elected officials.
The Goldwater Institute sent a public records request to the Sheriff’s office asking for information explaining how the seized funds are used, the groups these funds are given to, and what the County receives in return for the funds.
The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) will be conducting three meeting to gather public input on the impacts of recreational target shooting in the 486,400-acre Sonoran Desert National Monument (SDNM) to deter whether/what extent recreational shooting will be allowed in the future.

New Business Owners, Filing At The Corporation Commission, will get some business advice from basketball executive Jerry Colangelo. Colangelo is featured in a video that is on display this week in the Commission’s Corporations Division at 1300 W. Washington. New business owners will be able to watch the video as they are in line, gaining some advice and inspiration as they prepare for their new venture. The video is part of a series that will be shown in the lobby. “Jerry Colangelo is a living legend,” said Commissioner Tom Forese. “He is the perfect combination of drive to win and pure class. What I think we learn in this video is that whatever challenges in life, he approaches them with the same energy and code of conduct. We are lucky to have him in Arizona.”
Commissioner Tom Forese created the series of ten videos over the past year featuring Valley Business leaders including; Robert Kiyosaki (author of Rich Dad, Poor Dad), Larry White owner of Lolo’s Chicken & Waffles, real estate investor Michael Pollack, Valley investor Craig Coppola, AZCrown Investments owner Eric Crown, San Tan Brewery owner Anthony Canecchia, UFC Lightweight Champion Benson Henderson, Bob Templeton, founder and owner of Gun Shows of the West, and restaurateurs Skip and Nancy Chase. The videos tell the stories of successful business people who have come from various backgrounds and the struggles they had to overcome.
“There was an old immigrant in our neighborhood and he pointed up and said to me ‘Jerry do you see that star?’” said Colangelo. “I said ‘yes,’ and he said to me ‘It is better to be in that star for one day than not at all,’ so the advice I give young people is ‘shoot for that star.’ Don’t be afraid to fail.”
At a press conference earlier this month, Sheriff Joe Arpaio and representatives from Goodwill of Central Arizona announced their plans to use the videos as part of education programs for inmates and job seekers.
The Republican National Committee (RNC)has released a new web video entitled ‘The Clintons Hope You Forgot'. The video recounts the Clinton’s, their surrogates, and newscasts covering the divisive and personal attacks the Clinton campaign used against then candidate Obama. Tea Party Patriots: We are still at a loss for words over the tragic passing of Justice Antonin Scalia. America lost one of the biggest defenders of the Constitution and the rule of law in our history. Now, President Obama is planning to nominate a successor. The last time a Supreme Court Justice was nominated and confirmed in an election year was 80 years ago. There's no way that a lame duck President should be responsible for nominating Justice Scalia's replacement. The American people should have a say in the process this November! The battle will play out in the Senate and the Senate Republicans must stand firm against any nomination that President Obama puts forth! Please call and tweet the following Senators and tell them not to confirm any nominee that President Obama puts forth. The American people should have a say in the process in the 2016 election!
(Click the Twitter handle to tweet the Senator) We know the type of Justice President Obama will appoint and we can't afford to have an ultra-liberal judge replace the late Justice Scalia. Please call and tweet today! sign petition and send a message
