Senate-Passes-Bill-Outlawing-Early-Ballot-Collection Saying it will maintain election integrity, Gov. Doug Ducey on Wednesday signed legislation to make felons out of those who collect the ballots of others to bring them to the polls. HB2023, which takes effect later this year, will allow judges to impose a presumptive one-year prison term and potential $150,000 fine for the current practice by civic and political groups of going out to see if people remembered to return the early ballots they had requested by mail. Ducey’s signature came just hours after the measure gained final Senate approval on a party-line vote.

Call To Action: SB1010, Invades Student Privacy; By Thursday 9am Newly Amended Bill Would Invade K-12 Student Privacy. SB1010 Is Scheduled For Committee Hearing at 9 am., Thurs., March 19 in the House Committee Hearing Rm. This Surprise "Strike Everything" Bill is now titled: "S/E: information privacy; school service providers." If you are serious about avoiding private vendors having access to your children’s personal information, you had better respond. access the RTS: Account/SignOn? How to use the ALIS/RTS program, go to: RTS-Instructions

Activist Anita Christy: Thurs., March 10 At 9 Am, The House Government And Higher Education Committee will meet to vote on SB1010.  This has slipped through our radar and must be stopped!  On the surface, it sounds as though student data is being protected, because it’s referred to as “information privacy; school service providers.”  WRONG!  This is a Strike Everything amendment penned by Sen. John Kavanagh (who voted Nay to SB1455).  Here’s a link to the Committee Agenda: SB1010 allows the collection of student Personally Identifiable Information to 3rd parties (i.e., Google) for purposes of adaptive learning (computer based).   It's a terrible bill allowing tech companies (Google, etc.) to access Personally Identifiable Information (PII) for the purpose of adaptive learning.  PII should never be released.  PII should never be released to 3rd parties without consent.  Tech companies don't need PII to run adaptive learning.  Bill proposed/h.1010thorpe.pdf Pay close attention to Section “ F. This section does not prohibit a school service provider from doing any of the following.”    Contact info for all Committee members:

Karl-Rove-Plotting-To-Make-Mitt-Romney-President? The powers that be are officially in full panic mode. And now it looks like Karl Rove and the GOP establishment are looking to make this well-known Republican the 2016 nominee ...

Approximately 54 Private Jets Arrive with GOP Leaders and Donors Set on Stopping Donald Trump Huffington Post reporter Ryan Grim reported that "something like 54 private jets" arrived at a private resort off the coast of Georgia with a specific focus of stopping Donald Trump from obtaining the Republican nomination for president. Grim first reported: Billionaires, tech CEOs and top members of the Republican establishment flew to a private island resort off the coast of Georgia this weekend for the American Enterprise Institute's annual World Forum, according to sources familiar with the secretive gathering.

Insanity In The Republican Party “…McCain is running again and it is way over time to retire him. He has done nothing for the nation or Arizona.

Navajo Businessman Shawn Redd Filed CD1 Candidacy Papers in September 2015, making him the First Native American seeking the Republican nomination for multi-candidate Arizona’s 1st Congressional District race. Redd is a blend of Republican conservatism and Navajo dedication. He says his fusion of Navajo (mother) and Mormon (father) heritage gives him insights others don’t have of CD1. “My mother is Navajo from the Kaibeto (near Page).  Her family was successful in evading Kit Carson in the Navajo Mountain region and later became heavily involved the old west films produced in the Monument Valley area.  She passed away when I was an infant,” he said. While in high school he “revived a Navajo Corporation my mother had created to help create economic development on the Navajo Nation.” He has operated the laundromat in the Dilkon Shopping Center in Dilkon, AZ since 2002. Although he watched commercial utility rates from the Tribal Utility increase approximately 300% in a single month after Peabody closed one of its operations on Black Mesa, he continues servicing much of the Hopi reservation. Redd says his understanding of the district and his relationship with the Native American Tribes, especially, with the Navajo Nation, is a benefit to the voters. Former Tribal Chairman Peter Macdonald, a well-known Navajo Code Talker who was once considered “The most powerful Indian in the USA” and Donald Benally, a contender in the Navajo Nation’s past two Presidential primary election, recently joined Redd at the Coconino County Republican Club dinner in Flagstaff. He has also met with the Flagstaff Republican Women’s Club. Contact Redd at 298-224-8279 or or write to him at Shawn Redd for Congress HC 63 Box L Dilkon, AZ 86047.

Bill To Streamline And Consolidate Campaign Finance Laws Passes State Senate …A bill to allow the Secretary of State’s office to crack down on illegitimate, unlawful political spending has passed the Arizona Senate. “I’m pleased our campaign finance bill (SB1516) to root out unlawful political spending has passed the Senate,” said Secretary Reagan.  “Hopefully, If the bill passes the House and is signed into law by the Governor, our office will finally have the tools necessary to go after fly-by-night “convenience corporations” who show up in Arizona on Tuesday and start spending money on Friday in our elections.”

A Limited Number Of Candidate Tables will be available for GOP Presidential candidates and for GOP US Senator candidates at the Sat., March 19 Fountain Hills Republican Club breakfast, at the Fountain Hills Presbyterian Church.  The breakfast buffet begins at 8:30 a.m.; the program will begin at 9 a.m.  All candidates will be given an opportunity to speak.  The cost of the table will include 2 complimentary breakfasts.  The breakfast usually draws a large number of Fountain Hills, Scottsdale, and Rio Verde residents. LD23 Chairman Jim O’Connor: There are many causes and political candidates and issues in need our money, but none so urgent as this one. I met Catherine Engelbrecht several years ago when her True the Vote organization teamed up with Arizona’s Verify the Vote group to train poll workers and poll watchers. Catherine is a Houston, TX entrepreneur who spoke out against Obama early on, resulting in her business be audited and abused by the IRS for years following. She is a patriot and a leader. I ask that you put this organization on your personal radar, consider funding this with a portion of your political budget, and send this email onto other patriots open to investing their resources smartly into “keeping our republic”. Many thanks for standing with us. Contact: O’Connor 602-538-9387 cell

AAARC Chairman Rev Clyde Bowen: One of the most dangerous issues of our time is the drive to Drug, Sedate, and Seduce us & our Children. Seduce us into believing Pot is good for us, Sedation is an acceptable state of mind, and a drugged citizen is what the founding fathers ordered." Reefer Madness" is an old movie designed to scare you into thinking Pot made you
Frantic, Suicidal, Homicidal. It can enhance, but it is more dangerous than that! Pot mostly makes you want to do ... nothing. We all need to be alert, awake, & alive to our many challenges, but the new mantra seems to be," Some pot in every pot!" I heard South Korean kids study from sunrise to midnight. White & Hispanic kids here are NOT studying on their "smarter than them" phones, 9 hours a day. Black Kids 11 hours a day! We are in Crisis. High school kids are bored to the max, so by all means, let's roll a "Doobie". Kids can't get pot? Please, they already are. County Attorney Bill Montgomery is right to fight Legalization with every fiber of his being. There may be some real medical issues that need a little THC, But look at California, every Oowie deserves "Bruce Banner in the Brownies?? Gateway drug. My best friend died of a Heroin OD with the syringe still in his arm. He was 12! He went by the Pot at 9. NINE! No one cared. Now there is a Heroin problem back east. Marketing for all. So wake up, get up, stand up. Get straight, get clear, get right, use your faith to fight, fight, fight. Say a prayer, take a breath,
not a hit. Don't drink the Kool aid, pass the dangers, not the joint! Don't sell your soul, America, We need your best.

Yavapai County Republican Committee Chairman Dr. Mark Sensmeier: A flyer was sent out 3/7/16, via Constant Contact by the Yavapai County Republican Committee (YCRC).  YCRC pays the subscription for Constant Contact, and we are required by FEC rules to indicate this on our email blasts.  However, the placement of this message on the original email gave some recipients the impression that this event was being sponsored by YCRC and that we were excluding other candidates for this office. This is not correct. The YCRC is not affiliated with this event, we are merely providing a service to Republican candidates by notifying our email subscribers of this function. We gladly provide this service to Republican candidates as part of our party's mission. The event advertised is solely the responsibility of the respective campaigns hosting it, and we apologize for any confusion or perceived slight of other candidates. Editor’s Note: Sensmeier is referring to a flyer that announces a “Meet your LD1 House Candidates” for incumbent Noel Campbell and challenger David Stringer scheduled between 5-7 pm., Fri., March 11 at the Jersey Lilly Saloon, 116 S Montezuma St., Prescott. Republicans-Should-Blame-Themselves--Not-The-Media--For-Trump For nine months, Republican leaders refused to take on Donald Trump when it would have done some good. Now that it may be too late, they’re blaming their own failures on the media…

Former Maricopa County Republican Committee Chairman A J LaFaro: I want to thank Governor Ducey for acting so quickly and decisively in signing Arizona HB2023 into law. I am pleased the egregious activity of ballot harvesting is finally a serious crime here in Arizona. It took three years of hard work, constant attacks from the progressive socialists and the liberal Democrats and a frivolous lawsuit against me that was ultimately dismissed. I want to acknowledge just a few of the individuals I know who have helped lead the charge and worked
tirelessly to make ballot harvesting illegal here in Arizona:
Secretary of State Michele Reagan
Representative Michelle Ugenti-Rita
Representative Anthony Kern
Representative J. D. Mesnard
Representative Eddie Farnsworth
Senator Don Shooter
Maricopa County Recorder Helen Purcell
Maricopa County Elections Director Karen Osborne
Phoenix City Councilman Sal DiCiccio
Again, these recognized individuals are just a few of the many elected officials I'm aware of and worked with.  I know there are countless more and my apologies for not listing everyone. LaFaro is the National Director, Arizona Republican Assembly (AzRA) and Immediate Past Chairman, Maricopa County Republican Committee (MCRC)

Immediate Past AZGOP Chairman Tom Morrissey: My two cents: As a veteran and also someone who has run for office and lost, I offer the following: Kelli, Alex and Van are all good people and to me it seems that they want to represent the good of the people.  Any one of them would be a huge step up in our effort to bring decency and service back to the senate.  If we are to achieve the goal of replacing John McCain we need to go with the candidate who makes the best case to the electorate.  Part of making that case is to have a candidate who would not be an easy target for the opposition.  When we consider the size of the war chest possessed by John McCain coupled with his 'hidden allies' in state party leadership, the task of defeating him is daunting, at best. So for us, it is imperative that we gather around one candidate and do so now. John McCain is an expert at making his case for reelection and leaving a scorched earth in his wake.  That might not work against a person such as Kelli Ward.  She is a doctor, a former state senator, a mother and the wife of a soldier.  She obviously knows how to win an election and it would be risky for John McCain to attack her in any one of those areas. Please don't lose sight of the fact that in the era of Donald Trump (and Ted Cruz), what once seemed impossible, is no longer so.  Change, can and will happen when the message is spread in such a way that it triggers a "yuge" reaction. In the end what we all know is that we have a country to save.  So let us get on with that.

Presidential Candidate Ted Cruz supporters are invited to an informal gathering between 11 am-3 pm., Sat., March 12 at Chaparral Park in Scottsdale.  Hot dogs & cold beverages will be offered, and campaign materials will be available for you to take.  This will be a chance to meet fellow Arizonans who share your values, and learn about ways you can help out the campaign.  Chaparral is a family-friendly park – feel free to bring the kids.  Northeast corner of Chaparral Rd. & Hayden Rd.; picnic area at the north end of the lake.  Contact Ron Golden

Wednesday afternoon AZGOP Chairman Robert Graham noted that Democrat Ann Kirkpatrick, who is seeking election to represent Arizona in the U. S. Senate, is shamelessly backing President Obama’s illegal immigration amnesty plan that has been halted by the federal court. “Time after time Ann Kirkpatrick has turned her back on Arizona voters and instead chooses to stand with Barack Obama and his Washington Democrats,” said Graham. “Arizona’s families support the rule of law — which Kirkpatrick is encouraging Obama to ignore — and the courts have already declared Obama’s orders unconstitutional. What we’re seeing now is simply more of her shamelessly partisan action to support a Democrat President at all costs, and it proves once again that Ann Kirkpatrick is just another Washington Democrat who won’t ever do what’s best for Arizona.” Kirkpatrick joined hundreds of Washington Democrats, including Senator Harry Reid and Rep. Nancy Pelosi, in an amicus brief supporting the Obama Administration’s petition filed last week in an attempt to defend Obama's unilateral actions on immigration. Background: "President Obama and the Department of Justice filed a petition on Friday asking the United States Supreme Court to overturn the decision by the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit putting a halt to the administration’s executive amnesty program.”

Congresswoman Martha McSally’s fight to restore the Women Airforce Service Pilots (WASP) at Arlington National Cemetery can be viewed McSally's fight for WASPs McSally’s legislation to reverse the Army’s decision to kick the WASP out of Arlington continues to gain momentum in the House. · We are certain everyone on this site is in agreement - ballot harvesting is a scrounge on our voting landscape.  Today, the HB2023 Ballot Harvesting bill passed out of the Legislature and was signed by Gov. Ducey.  We invite you to go to and put 2023 in the little white box in the upper right corner and read the final version.  Secretary of State Reagan was a firm supporter of the bill and she urged our legislature to pass it.  And they did. So Congratulations to every member of the state House and Senate for their support and their vote to get this through. This has been percolating in the Legislature since 2013.Expect the Democrats to file a lawsuit tomorrow!  We have never hear an allegation that republican strongholds have ever engaged in such conduct. One man, one vote is on its way back in vogue in Arizona.  Arizona often leads the nation on these kinds of issues so we are hoping that other states will pick up this bill and run their own versions. - The AFA Team
