Marking The One-Year Anniversary Of Hillary Clinton’s press conference at the United Nations about her email scandal, the Republican National Committee (RNC) launched , a website dedicated to laying out the facts about her reckless decision to skirt government transparency laws by conducting all of her official business as Secretary of State on an unsecure, private server housed in her basement.  “Clinton’s unprecedented email arrangement was an egregious error in judgment that jeopardized the nation’s most sensitive intelligence,” said RNC Chairman Reince Priebus. “Hillary Clinton and her campaign have attempted to distract, deceive, and confuse the American people about the truth, and this site breaks down the facts so voters understand the full scope of her reckless conduct.  The truth is that on more than 2,000 occasions, Hillary Clinton sent or received classified information that ultimately put our national security and sensitive diplomatic efforts at risk. The ongoing investigation by the FBI, coupled with Clinton’s arrogant and dishonest claims, shows she can’t be trusted with the presidency.” lays out the facts about her scandal including five of the rules Clinton broke, a breakdown of the more than 2,000 classified emails discovered on her server, and a timeline of key dates.

US Representative Martha McSally (R-AZ) and Senator Joni Ernst (R-IA) will hold a press conference at 1:30 pm, (ET) on March 16 at the U.S. Capitol to call on the Army to reinstate the Women Airforce Service Pilots (WASP) at Arlington National Cemetery. The lawmakers have led the fight in Congress to restore the rights of WASPs, who were pioneering female World War II pilots, to have their ashes laid to rest at Arlington, a right that was revoked by the Army last year. Both lawmakers have introduced companion legislation with strong bipartisan support. They will be joined at the press conference by lawmakers from both parties, WASP family members, and a representative from Background: In 1942, General Henry “Hap” Arnold created the WASP unit with the intention of granting them full military status. Nearly 1,100 signed up for the WASP program, which ran from 1942 to 1944. Their missions included ferrying airplanes, training combat pilots, and towing airborne targets, and 38 WASPs died during their service. In 1977, Congress passed legislation retroactively granting active duty status to WASP pilots for the purposes of all laws administered by the VA, and in 2009, Congress awarded the WASPs the Congressional Gold Medal. Arlington National Cemetery approved in 2002 active duty designees, including WASP pilots, for military honors and inurnments. However, in March 2015, then-Secretary of the Army John McHugh reversed this decision.

Congressman Matt Salmon after sending a bipartisan letter to FBI Director James Comey requesting a classified briefing on the details of their investigation into the San Bernardino terrorist’s phone and the related legal case. “Emerging technologies have the power to change the world, and with it the needs of our law enforcement agents.  With the FBI currently relying on an unprecedented interpretation of the 1789 All Writs Act in its attempt to compel Apple, Inc. to bypass the encryption on its own product, the need for congressional clarity on just what the FBI is seeking couldn’t be higher.  If there are gaps in our laws, Congress must work to fill them.  But it is not the role of an activist judicial branch to rewrite them absent Congressional action.  It is my hope that by receiving this briefing, Members of Congress will better understand the challenges the FBI faces, and the underlying policy issues that may require our attention.”

U.S. Captures Head Of ISIS Chem Weapons Unit; Targets ISIS Chem Weapons Infrastructure - -U.S. Special Forces operating in Iraq captured the head ISIS chemical weapons unit. Sleiman Daud al-Afari, who worked for Saddam Hussenin’s now-disbanded Military Industrialization Authority where he specialized in chemical and biological weapons, was captured during a raid near the northern Iraqi town of Tal Afar last month.American and Iraqi officials say that there are many indications that ISIS is working hard to develop chemical weapons. Petition To Abolish Birthright Citizenship To Illegal Aliens “…Tell Arizona Senators McCain and Flake to End Birthright Citizenship - Breaking the law to give birth on American soil should not be rewarded. This year, the US will automatically grant American citizenship to at least 350,000 children of illegal aliens. Those children will be eligible for taxpayer-funded benefits from the minute they are born. Eventually, their entire families will be able to take advantage of America's generosity, too. All because their parents gave birth while illegally on American soil. Most other countries stopped this antiquated practice years ago. It's time to stop rewarding those who break our nation's laws. American citizenship is too precious to simply give away. Please don't delay. Tell your senators today. This is a completely free service. There is no cost to you.”

ISIS Detainee Details Mustard Gas Plan "An Islamic State detainee currently in American custody at a temporary detention facility in Erbil, Iraq, is a specialist in chemical weapons whom American military officials are questioning about the militant Sunni group’s plans to use the banned substances in Iraq and Syria, defense officials said." [NYT]

Senator John McCain to Senator John Thune, Chairman of the Senate Commerce, Science and Transportation Committee: “I thank Chairman Thune for including language in the FAA reauthorization bill that Senator Flake and I have fought for that would address serious concerns in Arizona caused by flight path changes around Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport. I’ve heard from residents across the Valley who have been negatively impacted by an increase in flight noise due to recent flight path changes, which the FAA made without giving the community the opportunity to express their concerns. It’s critical that affected communities in Phoenix and around airports across the country have a seat at the table before flight path changes are made. Our language would create a process for the FAA to determine steps to mitigate the negative effects of these flight path changes in Phoenix, and ensure that other airports and communities have the opportunity to fully engage with the FAA before any future changes are made. I look forward to advancing these vital provisions through the Congress so that we can finally address the concerns of communities across the country.”

160310-1330 - AZRRT Results Of Recent Votes By Jose Borrajero

SB1010  recycled materials report; state agencies --This is a strike-all bill and now has nothing to do with recycled materials. As amended, it allows the sharing of some student personally identifiable information to be shared with third parties without parental consent. It was HELD in the House Government and Higher Education Committee, but it will probably surface again soon. Please contact all representatives and request a NO vote on SB1010. To read the offending amendment, click HERE

SB1351  schools; elections; ballot arguments; exclusion --As submitted, this was a great bill dealing with information placed on the information pamphlets distributed to voters regarding bond issue elections. It would have allowed governing board members to omit their name from the PRO argument if they were not in favor of the bond issue. As amended, this bill does the opposite. It effectively hides from voters any hint that there was any opposition by any board member to the request for additional bonds. Please contact all representatives and request a NO vote on SB1351. If you rendered a “for” vote on the RTS, please update it to “against”. To read offending amendment, click HERE
