Editor - Frosty Taylor or   Web Master John Strasser

Dr C. T. Wright, Fountain Hills Republican Club President and LD 23 PC and Chaplain, was inducted into the Lower Verde River Valley and Fountain Hills Hall of Fame Wed, March 30.  Witnesses to this event included Sheriff Joe Arpaio; Sen John Kavanagh; LD23 Rep Jay Lawrence; Arizona American African Republican Coalition Chairman Clyde Bowen; Fountain Hills Mayor Linda Kavanagh; LD 23 Secretary Judy Lawrence; LD 23 PC and FH School Board member Edith Stock, former Arizona Federation of Republican Women President Leona Johnston, former Arizona Corporation Commission and current Director of the Governor's Office of Equal Opportunity Barry Wong, and the entire board of the Fountain Hills Republican Club among others.

Backstage-Maneuvering-Begins-In-Wide-Open-GOP-Chairman’s-Race “…Arizona GOP Chairman Robert Graham, a tech and financial services entrepreneur, said he’s seriously considering a bid for RNC chairman after a number of national committeemen encouraged him to run. While he said he’s focused on ensuring John McCain’s Senate seat stays in the GOP column, Graham has been discussing the RNC post with his wife, five children, foster child and a nephew who lives with his family.   “I’m considering it, but I would say it’s a family decision,” Graham said in a phone interview.”

Reports Of Political Sign Damage/Removal, etc. are coming in – particularly against Presidential candidate Donald Trump. GOP candidates went through a rash of sign destruction during the last few elections. This is just a gentle reminder that the mischief can result in a misdemeanor up to a felony – if caught. With today’s phone camera’s it isn’t that hard to get your photo if you are messing with a candidate sign. This is not an April Fool’s Day joke. It’s for real.

LD26 PC And Former Marine Matt Papke has announced that a group of “Patriotic PCs” are seriously considering taking legal action against Robert Graham and the Arizona Republican Party over the $50 fee imposed on delegates for the first time in the 78 year history of the AZGOP. See 3-24-16 Briefs Maricopa County PCs passed a resolution censuring Graham during the January 2015 Maricopa County meeting. Papke can be reached at 480-242-2208 or

LD17 Chairman Dr. Shadow Asgari: Congratulations to the newly elected delegates and alternate delegates from LD17 to the State Convention on April 30!  I felt so blessed last night to serve as your chair and I want to thank you for the opportunity and privilege I had in witnessing the power of the grassroots at work!  We have a great district...that was a room full of great people last night and I could really see the interaction between everyone and folks coming together as I've never seen before.  The amount of help and support we had was overwhelming, and I want to express my gratitude first to the LD17 executive board for their work and dedication and to all our PCs and volunteers. Thanks everyone for your patience as we tried out new technology, which with some tweaking may be the way of the future.  I have discussed my suggestions with the State Party regarding the "Simply Voting" system.  I'll ask for your input at our next meeting, but for now let's focus on delivering our delegates to the convention! I urge you to take that energy and enthusiasm from last night to stay involved.  We need all of you this year to recruit PCs and register voters.  Let's show the rest of the state how it's done by filling all our precincts! We have to work to get our appointed PCs elected, and I need all of you to pitch in and help out! LD17 has the talent, dedication, and conviction to accomplish great things.

Candidates include Sheriff Paul Babeu for CD1, LD8 Rep Frank Pratt for LD8 Senate, LD8 Rep T J Shope for re-election and David Cook for LD8 Representative.

LD25 PC Marlene Hinton: I was just reading the MCRC Briefs on the dispute regarding the $50 fee to vote for state Republican delegates to the national convention. I'm in LD 25; we elected delegates last night. I was elected, but was required (as far as I could tell) to either pay the $50 online at the desk right then or submit a check right then. There were no other options presented. Seems suspiciously akin to a poll tax. I would have chosen not to pay and brought my own sack lunch had I known I could do that. Editor’s Note: That isn’t an option. The $50 fee includes the $10 lunch.

Activist Rachel Alexander: “Frankly, the calls for Maricopa County Recorder Helen Purcell to resign are getting rather ridiculous. The county has NEVER had the top four candidates for president come campaign in the state a couple of days before the primary! Donald Trump, Ted Cruz, Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders riled up people to come out and vote who normally wouldn't have. Usually Arizona's primary has always been pretty low key because it's so far into the primary race that it's pretty clear who the candidates are going to be at that point. I don't think she did anything wrong. Yeah I used to be her attorney. I have not spoken with her about this. Helen is great at cutting costs, and even the county supervisors approved of her decreasing the polling locations to save taxpayers money. I don't see how anyone could have foreseen this.” -- Facebook

Tea Party Patriots will gather on the steps of the Supreme Court building at 8:30 am., Mon, April 18 to protest President Obama’s executive-amnesty agenda and his Supreme Court nomination.

Sen candidate Alex Meluskey: John McCain will spend millions attacking me. As we near the fundraising quarter deadline, I need your help to keep up.

Fallout-From-Voting-Disaster A law overturned by the U.S. Supreme Court in 2013.

Floating Around The Internet:  Alinsky’s eight steps from democracy to socialist society. (Obama quotes him often in his book and Hillary did her thesis on Alinsky.) There are eight levels of control that must be obtained before you are able to create a socialist/communist State.  The first is the most important; five of the eight are done.

The last 3 are almost there

1.    Healthcare: "Control Healthcare and you control the People"   DONE !!

2.    Poverty:  Increase the Poverty level as high as possible."  Poor People are easier to control and will not fight back if the government is providing everything for them to live. DONE!!!

3.    Debt: Increase the National Debt to an unsustainable level."  That way you are able to increase Taxes, and this will produce more Poverty. DONE!!!

4.    Gun Control:  Remove the ability to defend themselves from the Government.  That way you are able to create a Police State - total local control. ALMOST THERE!!!

5.    Welfare:  Take control of every aspect of their lives (Food, Livestock, Housing, and Income). DONE!!!

6.    Education:  Take control of what People read & listen to; take control of what Children learn in School. ALMOST THERE!!!

7.    Religion: Remove faith in God from the Government and Schools. ALMOST THERE!!!

8.    Class Warfare:  Divide the People into the Wealthy against the Poor.  Racially divide. This will cause more discontent and it will be easier to Tax the Wealthy with full support of the voting Poor. DONE!!!

The bases are all covered!  We are ripe!

Rep. Matt Salmon Asks IRS About High Fraud Rates -- Cites Chicago Tribune Report Showing $21 Billion in Likely Fraud: Salmon announced a letter to IRS Commissioner John Koskinen inquiring about the IRS’s use of prepaid debit cards as a method of income tax refund fraud and the connection between those cards and identify theft. “I was shocked to learn that the IRS is not doing everything in its power to protect taxpayers from identity theft and fraud associated with falsified filings. Making matters worse, the IRS’s use of prepaid debit cards, which are almost impossible to claw back in the case of fraud, also results in depriving many honest Americans of a refund of their tax overpayments.  I hope there’s more to this story than an agency that doesn’t care about taxpayers’ data, and I hope Commissioner Koskinen quickly responds with an update on what the IRS is doing to prevent future occurrences of this fraud.” BackgroundThe Chicago Tribune recently reported that identity-related refund fraud is on the rise. pre-paid-card-users-tax-refunds In 2012, the Department of Treasury Inspector General for Tax Administration estimated that by 2016 the IRS would have lost $21 billion due to identity refund fraud Salmon’s letter to Koskinen here

The McCain Update: ISIL Terrorist Attacks - The world was rocked once again with the news that ISIL terrorists launched a series of attacks in Brussels, Pakistan and Turkey this month. My deepest condolences continue to be with the loved ones of those killed in these horrific terrorist attacks. Unfortunately, these attacks were sadly predictable. And they are a reminder of what should by now be painfully obvious: the United States and our allies across the world are at war with ISIL. We have seen attacks on a civilian airliner in the skies of Egypt; on cafes, concert halls, and stadiums in the streets of Paris; on a community center in San Bernardino; and now on a metro station and an airport in Brussels. There should be no doubt that ISIL poses a real, direct, and growing threat to the United States. ISIL remains in control of its sanctuaries in Iraq and Syria. It is expanding across the Middle East, Africa, and parts of Asia and radicalizing terrorist recruits in the United States and Europe.Yet after allowing the ISIL threat to grow and strengthen for years, the Obama Administration still has no plausible strategy to destroy ISIL on anything close to an acceptable timeline. Instead of showing resolve to confront this threat head-on, the world watched as President Obama attended baseball games and danced the tango in the days following this brutal attack. We need a strategy to destroy ISIL, not "ultimately," but as quickly as possible. Time has never been on our side in this conflict, and the failure to recognize the urgent realities of the war against ISIL will carry a grave price for our nation and our people.

Empowering Parents to Opt Out of the AzMERIT has published a post titled Opt Out FAQ: Frequently Asked Questions to help parents whose children are being persuaded, cajoled, lied to, intimidated, and threatened into taking this worthless, unvalidated, expensive, psychologically damaging test.  Find out why parents are Refusing to allow their children to take this test.  Find out how you, as a concerned parent, can protect your children from it.

· Letter of Assertion to Opt Out and Refuse the AZMerit Test.  Click HERE to print out a copy of the Refusal letter.  Control/Click on the title of this article, which includes the Letter of Assertion plus links which back up those assertions.
