Trump-Passes-1237-Delegates According to the Associated Press (AP), Donald Trump has surpassed the needed number of Republican delegates (1,237) to receive the GOP nomination for president. The delegate count was boosted by a small number of the Republican Party’s unbound delegates who told the AP that they would support Trump at the convention, including Oklahoma GOP chairwoman Pam Pollard. Pollard said: “I think he has touched a part of our electorate that doesn’t like where our country is. I have no problem supporting Mr. Trump.”

Republican LD4 House Candidate Richard Hopkins needs help in collecting 1509 signatures to get on the ballot to run against Dem incumbent Charlene Fernandez. Petitions gatherers will meet at 9:30 am., Sat., May 28 in the Bales Elementary School parking lot, 25400 W Maricopa Buckeye to walk neighborhoods for a couple of hours. Contact Hopkins at if you can help for a couple of hours in the Buckeye area. Editor’s Note: Republicans, this has been a Dem strong-hold. Here is a chance to elect another Republican to the Arizona legislature. Hopkins needs all the help he can get to collect petitions signature by the June 1 deadline.

Precinct Committeeman PC affidavits and petitions should be turned into the County Recorder’s office no later than June 1. Or mail to Recorder’s office, Elections Dept., 111 S Third Ave., Phoenix, AZ 85003 in time for June 1 delivery. Signature requirements vary by precinct, with the maximum being 10, according to Maricopa County Republican Chairman Tyler Bowyer. Please see the requirements at: PC quota Nomination Form and Petition document: elections/precinctcommitteemen.aspx Or contact Bowyer with any additional questions!

US Senate candidate Alex Meluskey: We have just launched our new website, and I can't wait for you to see it! There are many ways you can interact with it and your friends on social media, as well as many ways you can help the campaign! What are you waiting for? Go Have A Look!

Congressman Trent Franks qualified for the fall ballot Thursday at the Secretary of State’s office with nearly 3,500 petition signatures –more than double the required amount. Franks comments, “This strong showing of grassroots support across the 8th Congressional District is a testament to the wonderful men and women I am blessed to represent in Congress I cannot thank you enough and I promise that my team and I will continue to work hard every day for you, our great state and our nation.”

Brian Reilly, Political Activist And Former Surprise Tea Party Board Member. In Mr. Tom Morrissey’s 5/26/2016 editorial directed toward Maricopa County Sheriff candidate Dan Saban, he wrote: “[Arpaio] doesn’t need [Saban], or anyone else, telling Arpaio to retire.” As a former Sheriff Arpaio supporter, I will emphatically state, that Sheriff Joe Arpaio should consider retiring. It would be far better for him to retire now than to go down as a loser in the 2016 primary or the general election. Morrissey goes on to write that he will continue to support Arpaio because of Arpaio’s “integrity and his history of excellence.” Would that history include giving false testimony while under oath in court, or concealing court evidence, or investigating a federal judge overseeing his case, or causing the Board of Supervisors to raise our property taxes because of the $50 million dollar costs associated with the Melendres case? Would that history also include ignoring a court ordered injunction for 18 months? Would that history also include a sham birth certificate investigation that helped to raise $8.4 million for Arpaio’s reelection campaign in 2012? On May 31, 2016, U.S. District Court Judge G. Murray Snow may recommend criminal referrals against Sheriff Arpaio and others. Will possible criminal referral also be representative of Arpaio’s integrity and excellence? Mr. Morrissey, your endorsement for Joe Arpaio really brings into question your understanding of law enforcement excellence and integrity and represents a true disservice to the voters and to the taxpayers of Maricopa County.

Maricopa County Sheriff candidate Dan Saban: We need our Maricopa County Sheriff's Office to return to that which it is intended to be; a law enforcement agency.  Instead, Arpaio has turned it into a Public Relations Agency that serves the ego and power of one.  Please take a few seconds to view the below clip.  QUOTE and CLIP from feature documentary The Joe Show. …"I am probably the greatest politician that ever lived." …"It's amazing what I say and what I do and what I get away with." LD13 PC Scott Powelsen: This is where your tax money for "kid Care" recently passed is going. Thanks to the legislature and our Gov. we will be paying the bills for Obams's surge of migrants for a very long time. feds-show-off-phoenix-shelter-migrant-kids-say-they’re-ready-surge

Feds-Order-Colleges-Stop-Checking-Criminalschool-Discipline-History-Discriminates-Minorities …The Obama administration has ordered the nation’s colleges and universities to stop asking applicants about criminal and school disciplinary history because it discriminates against minorities. Institutions are also being asked to offer those with criminal records special support services such as counseling, mentoring and legal aid once enrolled. The government’s official term for these perspective students is “justice-involved individuals” and the new directive aims to remove barriers to higher education for the overwhelmingly minority population that’s had encounters with the law or disciplinary issues through high school.

Senators Demand DOJ Stop Investigating Global Warming Skeptics "Five Republican senators have sent a letter to Attorney General Loretta Lynch asking her to 'immediately cease' using law enforcement resources to go after those who disagree with President Barack Obama on global warming. 'These actions provide disturbing confirmation that government officials at all levels are threatening to wield the sword of law enforcement to silence debate on climate change,' Sens. Ted Cruz of Texas, Mike Lee of Utah, Jeff Sessions of Alabama, David Perdue of Georgia and David Vitter of Louisiana wrote to Lynch..."

IG-Report-Says-Hillary-Clinton-Broke-The-Rules; Has-Stonewalled Investigators Democrats across the country must be growing increasingly nervous about their prospects of winning the November election with Hillary Clinton as their candidate. On Wednesday a new State Department Inspector General report was released to the media, and it should prove incredibly damaging to the Clinton campaign. In his report the State Department IG finds that Hillary Clinton knowingly violated federal government rules in setting up her private server (a corresponding story in the news today adds that Clinton did so because she worried more about protecting her personal emails than she did protecting state secrets), and secondly the IG report shows that Clinton and her team have been willfully impeding the government investigation!

State Department Staffers Looking At Benghazi Records Identified Hillary’s Email Address Much Earlier Than Thought "State Department staffers who worked to respond to congressional requests for documents about the Sept. 11, 2012 Benghazi attacks discovered in June 2013 — a year earlier than has previously been reported — that Hillary Clinton used a personal email account. The revelation, which was included a scathing 83-page State Department inspector general report released on Wednesday, 'raises very serious questions about the Obama administration’s lack of cooperation with the congressional committees that have looked into the Sept. 11, 2012 Benghazi attacks,' said Matt Wolking, the press secretary for the House Select Committee on Benghazi..."

Rep. Matt Salmon has announced the seventh bill in his 2016 Shrink our Spending Initiative to highlight and cut wasteful taxpayer-funded programs. Upon introduction of his latest bill to eliminate a duplicative NSF report on standardization in the United States, Rep. Salmon said, “What should be a niche field of study for a college history professor is instead a government-requested report, paid for by the National Science Foundation.  ‘The History of Standardization’ is the research goal of a report requested by the NSF to study weights and measures in American exchange and customs enforcement.  To make matters worse, we’ve had a government-printed report on this very topic for over 40 years, and if there’s one thing that shouldn’t need updating, it’s history.” In 2014, Rep. Salmon began a program to identify and cut wasteful spending government-wide, because he knew every federal department, office, and agency has wasteful spending within their budgets.  The program was called the “Shrink Our Spending” Initiative and aimed at finding $ 1.5 billion in wasteful spending.  In 2015, the initiative identified and cut over $3 billion in government waste.Salmon serves on the House Committee on Foreign Affairs as Chairman of the Subcommittee on Asia and the Pacific. He is also a member of the House Committee on Education and the Workforce.

· In Brazil’s Political Crisis, A Powerful New Force: Evangelical Christians Just as the Rev.
